Price manipulation do happen, though I’m yet to understand how it works or how they do such, cause before I used to believe that price manipulation is when whales are investing huge amount of money and controlling the price, but this time around it seems like it something very much different from what I have thought. I have seen a lot of people talk about price manipulation so it does happen in crypto. The way it is, I don’t think you can do anything about it unless they are caught.

Yes, I think price manipulation can happen if someone has a lot of bitcoin. they call them whales. In fact I've heard rumors that there are groups that hold very large amounts of bitcoin, they can control the market price on bitcoin. but I am more confident in the current market correction is happening. I believe market will rise again.
I think, all the bitcoin economy and price system is based on the manipulations, there are few guys or companies of guys called whales, and they are moving market where they want.
Agree. The so called BIG WHALES plays a great role in manipulating bitcoin price. Because they are the great holders of bitcoin and they can really make any strategies inorder to move bitcoin in a very volatile prices towards declining that could make tense to some small holders and dumped their bitcoin owned panickly.

We are in the world of market investment, anything can be manipulated by the Whales behind some legit company investors on the treed, if look at the social media news as posted, there some price manipulation and the government is into the process of investigation of the said issue, although, crypto currency digital transaction is Decentralized, we will never know if there is a confirmed data on this issue.

I think there is no price manipulation, it depends on the trusted bitcoin market if there are many customers who buy our coins, then the price is expensive.

I always thought that there's someone behind Bitcoin who manipulate or controls things. we may think it's decentralized but at the back of our minds we always think, who are those people. sooner or later we will all find out who are those people behind this manipulation.
Those people that have already concentrated the majority of Bitcoins and some other leading cryptocurrencies in their hands can easily manipulate the market.

The market can easily be manipulated by top 1,000 holders of bitcoin and this indeed has happened before.Some time ago panic was caused by the fact that a couple of whales sold bitcoins costing several hundreds of millions of dollars - this resulted in a rapid decrease of price in just a few hours.
I am not quite sure whether this was done intentionally (maybe they just needed some cash to buy a couple of luxury homes
), but the result was a disaster..

Price manipulation is not new even in stock market and forex they do that all the time, whales can always do that so what we we do is to study when to ride so that we won’t lose our money.
It's not new exactly, it's happen with every market since forever. Whales are not a new term, they exist as long as markets exists, they manipulate with markets with their big bankrolls and with some help, they use news to manipulate with masses, rumor's, etc. Bitcoin as something new attracted many good people, but that's not all many bad people moved their illegal businesses on crypto. Don't blame bitcoin because it fluctuate, blame people, they do all the bad things. People ask when will it stop? Probably never, people can't be forced to be better, some people will be bad forever.

maybe it just a false news that makes many people afraid and they think to sell their bitcoin with fast. but I think it could happen as we can see that the bitcoin price moves in any range of price. market crypto will give riskier than another market because we cannot control the market and maybe people which have big money will trying to move the price. but I believe that the price will be back to increase again and the false news will disappear.
In any market there's always people that will try to manipulate prices. Be it in oil, forex and stocks where its market are in trillions. So how much more in crypto where it is only in hundred billion dollars.
bitcoin prices are very likely to be manipulated in my opinion. Just observe the drama that happened last year around september? When bitcoin transactions were suddenly halted because miners shifted to bitcoin cash? That itself was a great example of manipulating the entire bitcoin ecosystem. The main problem seems to be that a small group of pools are controlling most of the mining activities around the world.
I personally do not really believe in price manipulation. Has been proven before, but the question is here who determines the price?
I'm sure no one here knows that. Even if it happens, maybe it's just a coincidence. We here can only hope and be patient for the high price.

It is normal, I think...all the markets in the world, even my food market near my home here are affected by this thing. There are some guys, who has the 80% of all potato in the area, they are manipulating the price, lol.
Yes there are price manipulation with those big whales or pool of investors doing day trading and that is not good for those who are planning to go on long term investment because the market price increase is not good meaning to say it will slow down on the market price increase due to this day traders that taking every chance to earn using a system that will let them sleep and just automatically let them trade by the use of the system.

I think price manipulation for bitcoin is possible. Those big investors can do it since they have the power to store large amount of bitcoin in their hands and at the same time release them the time they wanted. As a result it can affect the market's supply and demand.It is nor a regulated market, so things like this should be expected but the investigation that is being done goes right, and we get to see some regulations in place to limit or eliminate things like this, then it would really be a great advantage for the space as we either get to see a real non manipulated uptrend or a downtrend.

The real manipulator of bitcoin is bitcoin whales they controlling the value of bitcoin on a biggest population, but its value that twenty years ago. The only thing I support that they can be used in a new way of cryptocurrency or bitcoin. The first thing for you have a great way.
