I doubt that LTC will reach or even approach its ATH price in 2022. I expect a realistic price, $150 or a little more is the most likely thing Litecoin will achieve in 2022 in my opinion.
in the last few weeks the price of Litecoi has fallen very sharply and is now at a price of $60 but that is very reasonable because the market is currently bearish which is also experienced by almost all coins.
from what has happened in previous years, Litecoin is a coin that tends to be stable without any drastic ups and downs, so I think this will also happen in 2022, when the bear market slowly passes the price Litecoin will recover and I predict it will probably only be around $150.

Litecoin is rarely in news and we don't see any big move in its price even during the Bull run but recently there is news update of Ltecoin that it is being de-listed from South Korean exchanges because of some privacy issue, the details are given in below link: This news will have negative impact on its price which is already around $61. I don't see Ltecoin making any big jump in its price during 2022, most likely it will be traded between $60 to $80.

One of the altcoins that is rarely discussed is Litecoin, I don't know,
maybe because news from this coin rarely arrives or indeed Litecoin has few holders,
many altcoins will drop in 2022, including Litecoin, I think this all time high in 2022 will not can happen, I prefer to $30 this year

It has become pretty silent around Litecoin, I haven't read or heard about it in some time. I don't really see a use case for it once Bitcoin has a fully operational lightning network. They will need to re-invent themselves or will slowly disappear behind coins with more or easier use-cases (or simply memecoins like Dogecoin). Of course for long term holders there is already some sort of "nostalgic" value, but this is not enough to recruit new users.

Regardless of what it is, I think Litecoin is still one of the coins that has potential even though the price is still low,
hope the development team can do something to push the price up,
we'll see what will happen in the future on this Litecoin

I have some LTC so of course I feel disappointed that while BTC and ETH are trading above the 2017 ATH levels,,, LTC is barely at 33% of those ATH.

The old dev/founder Lee also made his promise good,,, to stick around until price reached old ATH, which it did, but it never went up higher.

On the other hand, LTC is the silver of crypto, the silver to Bitcoin as gold. That never changed and still has a loyal network. I think those are way better than the 'gone tomorrow' shitcoins.

Indeed as litecoin nowadays is showing good comparing to what had happened back in 2018 , now it looks like litecoin is being a good and generated currency and also updates are coming,
LTC becomes a dark currency back then but now as it has new management ? i think there is lot to come to wait for this currency .

I think litecoin did its job well, looks like you are just looking for litecoin price appreciation to achieve your own goals and you are not satisfied with litecoin because the price is not what you want. Looking at the top coins of Bitcoin's contemporaries like bitcoin cash, Neo… I see that LTC is doing better than all the rest. LTC is not hyped but it is slow growing and steady, low volatility, I see LTC as a safe haven during bearish times along with bitcoin.

The price action of Litecin has been very disappointing since many months so I don't expect any big rise in its price given the current bearish scenario of crypto market so I don't see its price hitting $100 during the year 2022 . Litecoin used to be called mini Bitcoin few years back and it was favorite coin for transferring payment because of its comparatively lower transaction fee but now there new networks have emerged those charge very nominal fee like Tron, BNB and polygon. Well, LTC is not something that will go super high all the time, it is something that is a bit more stable and more trustworthy. I know there have been some coins that went up super high, the moment it is released it could be close to or even higher than litecoin, that is just the reality of life.

But how many coins have gone as far as Litecoin in that range? Not many, all of them kept going down eventually. I believe that at least 80% of the coins above litcoin right now will go down as well, we are going to face that for sure. Following the same algorithm of Bitcoin, there is big expectation over Litecoin. For some reason it failed to fulfill the expectation of the investors, because there is no big movement in price when bitcoin marked its ATH price. There is continued development and last year the halving took place and everything is taking place in a well processed manner without much of growth. Litecoin has massively disappointed its investors during the past 2 years, it didn't reach where we all wanted to see it during the bull run of 2021. it is considered mini Bitcoin but it came down to Rank# 18 on coinmarketcap while it used to be on Top 10 coins in previous years. Taking all aforesaid factors of Litecoin, I think If Bitcoin market goes bullish in 3rd quarter of 2022 as expected then it can potentially go beyond $250.

Yes, I agree, however, that litcoin is still in the best position in CMC, even though it is not in the top 10. with the current price of $ 72+ certainly a price that is not bad at all. especially if you look at his actions so far, every time the halving period ends, Litecoin also moves to improve along with bitcoin (2007 and 2011). this indicates that litcoin can and is able to move better if the bitcoin situation also improves.

you should not compare Litecoin to Ethereum because they are far different  because Litecoin has changed management and this brings them to losing most of their supporters back in 2017 when Ethereum is still in same place and same teams , so i think that Litecoin  is far from getting the throne again that they've lost  years ago .
and also there are so many coins that worth trusting and with best function than litecoin nowadays so why consider them instead of this?

There is a good case to be made about the situation where price could go down when the market goes down as well. This means that the price will go up and down based on the market as well. This should be something that we need to consider with all the good ones, like ETH went down as well, when all of the markets goes down, of course, ETH goes down as well. The difference is that ETH is up compared to its previous ATH (1500 in 2017) whereas LTC is not like that and this is a problem. Very top project and secure than many top coins. Transaction fee is also reasonable. We have not seen any updates in this coin For long time. It's price is very down from all time high where price was above 400$ in January 2021 and now it's trading below 70$. When market recover Ltc price will also go up and we may see 150$ in bullish market.
