That's true, Chinese New year celebration is usually the culprit and it will be this same friday the 16th. But all the bad news about regulation that are happening this year may have a greater impact than expected, and postpone recovery until a later date...

I think we're out of the worst of the early yearly slump now, expect a short period of stagnation but as the markets recover, we're at a very reasonable new floor for the whole market, I see up going up throughout the remainder of the year.

Not sure if will go up this week . Is already almost a dead price for bitcoin since it was almost 25000$ . Maybe in the next 2-3 months he will be back at 15-16k usd then again will be a correction . This can very well happen. Seems a lot of TA guys are predicting we'll have to test the lows before going up, but you never know.
BTC only needs volume and a spike up to convince a huge mass of people waiting to get back in when the upside is confirmed. I can see many people missing out - lots of FOMO - price goes ATH.

Actually I didn't know about this and it sound very realistic. I am pretty sure market stance is going to be bullish when this contracts start so we will see new bull rally (might not be very good) for once since crash.

Yes, I hope that will go through because there are a lot of good news coming to cryptoworld especially on Bitcoin. But I think it will start next week after Chinese New Year, it will start on Bitcoin and at the same time Altcoins will follow.

i think we will have in these days the final loss and then we will hopefully start a new ride, we need exchanges to allow new users, new capitals will mean a new rise in my opinion. it's a good moment to buy, we can't fall much more
