unbelievable... there's just something wrong... i usually hit a block at least...

Primecoin GPU miner ver. 2.00
-----------------------------
Mining time: 16.16 hours
Est. Average Chains Per Day (CPD): 9.80
Est. Spot    Chains Per Day (CPD): 9.361

Pass: 36434
GPU #0   time: 167
GPU #1   time: 119
GPU #2   time: 125
GPU #3   time: 116

10-ch   found: 9         expected: 6.594
blocks  found: 0         expected: 0.777

The difficulty is 10.88 now Sad

Just think of it this way.

with the difficulty at 10.88 you basically have a 12% chance that a 10 chain will be a block and that will only shrink further.

A pool is much needed at this point, since the difficulty is high. I notice I get a lot of 10.7 to 10.2 out of the 10-ch I find, no blocks for 96 hours of mining. So, I had to switch to the other miner for pool mining.

From the other miner's thread:
My 280X give 189K 4ch/h & 2.2CPD (48h), but how about yours 4ch/h?

sometime give mi invalid shares
7% invalid shares is the same as having 7% stale/orphan blocks.

It is unstable or should I do something to get it stable?
It's quite stable in our rigs. Have you tried running it on lower clocks?

I am running my 280xs in 1030/1500 mhz. Should be fine right?

you will be fine. In fact i use it with 1150/1500 (MSI R9 280x Gaming OC + Sapphire R9 280x Toxic)

I guess its about time in view of crazy difficulty ahead.. is that going to be your own pool? no more ypool please..

How's the progress with the pool?
We hope to have it in the next version.

I have a mixed gpu rig that just stops when running the last revision of the miner, even after lowering all cards to stock clocks.  I just went back to the previous revision of the miner and it is fine.  Is this due to increased usage % or could it be something else?
Most likely.
Could you tell if it mines for at least an hour or just stops right away?
Does the other rig have the same problem with the latest version?

We'll probably make this optimization optional.

It seems to go for a while before stopping. It would always stop after I quit watching it.

Also,  My house was getting too hot, so I have moved my rigs to a remote location. so I haven't messed with it too much.  Stability was more important.

Been running the free version for a couple of days now but it seems very unstable. Fresh win 8.1 installation, 14.4 drivers. Sometimes it crashes the miner, sometimes I see that the computer just have restarted. (and I can only run 5 of my 6 cards, error code 43).

It is unstable or should I do something to get it stable?

Higher difficulty.....
My blocks are coming much slower.  The last couple days I have only gotten 1 per day, where I was getting 4 or more per day.  Undecided

i have to move to Claymore miner since its the only miner that accept catalyst 13.12 and those drivers are the only one who will work on 6 x GPU at same board.
Well, I'm not sure it's more profitable to mine on 6 280x's with Claymore's than on 5 cards with our miner.

PrimeGPU i sent you an email with new key request for upgrading to 5 x GPU

thanks... i'll have to check the clock part... i'm on fibre broadband and my primecoin client gets about 17 connections since i enabled upnp on my router so there must be something else i'm not seeing, i just feel we need more stats to be able to spot performance bottlenecks...

i keep hitting 10-ch but not a single block wtf... i don't know if it's good or bad... 5 10-ch within an hour.. 4x290 rig..

I have a similar situation as you: I found many 10s that got orphaned and I suspect the reason for this might be:
1 Your clock is not sync
2.You can't brodcast fast enough -high ping, limited number of connections, your network topology, etc.
3.You got 10s but under the min 10.878319, but thats more unlucky .
My problem seems to be I can't open more than 8 connections in my wallet on windows. I did fw the port on my router but  got same result  and I wonder if the client was  compiled with UPnP support or not as I got many more connection with other altcoin wallets than this one.
