I think the beauty of the Happy Hour is that it is happening unexpectedly. You think you'll have 150 sats from the fuacet and BOOM! you've got 10k. To me it never happened even once that I saw an anouncement about a HH and then immediately used the information, but I was getting 10k couple of times unexpectedely and thet was great.
I think the beauty of saying you're going to do something, is actually doing that thing. I think it's s bonus for following them on twitter and Facebook. They advertise with marketing pieces and every now and then throw in a happy hour. Otherwise why is their a reason to follow them?
There is no reason to that and it is actually just a small bonus for following them. It is not really like you could monitor your social media and you could open it up and know it INSTANTLY everytime there is a notification on your phone when they posted about happy hour or giveaway however you are bound to know it way sooner than most guy for sure
look up the word phrase "push notification" it will blow your mind.

Yes, i believe if that's another reason, but actually i was asked about same question like yours, and i got the answer why HH amount lowered to 5k satoshis, Happy hour just started, 5k extra on your faucet.

It was +10k.Even with 5k plus, if only 1000 user claims faucet and wins twice, as it is expected with 10x payout with 20 rolls (1 hour), the minimum amount that can be tipped, it costs 1 btc for PD, and that is the minimum, as they do HH every day now, i think it is reasonable that they reduced it to 5k. And dont forget this 5k is the plus amount besides your faucet, so the "loss" for PD in a Happy Hour is much more than i just wrote. Enjoy while it lasts, i guess this can't go forever, but christmas is coming and they want to be generous

I think you will get around 1500 satoshi after you have 10 BTC wagered. From there it increases a lot slower. I personally have 140 BTC wagered with a 3500 satoshi faucet. And yeah, it might be low but you're not supposed to earn from faucet
Thanks for the answer. I see it might not high but its still better getting higher than 150. I think I need to invest plenty of time playing it. Wished happy hour will have a fixed time too that will be a great help.

That change was mostly made due to bigger fee being set so if we take 20k fee on 100k its pretty big %.

sometimes 20k is too much (if you withdraw 200k for example)
and sometimes a substantially higher fee is in order,but it is set automatically at the moment
would love to be able to choose,say, 20k 40k or 60k or something similar
Realistically there will always be high min withdraw amounts due to the fees. You also need to understand they can't charge a set fee because everyday the backlog of unconfirmed transactions is different, for example I am sure on Christmas there will be very little volume due to the holiday. And that day you could get away with a small fee.
Also they have different inputs which can affect how much is required to get the fee processed. If many made very small deposits to PD and someone made a very large deposit then obviously the fee will be hugh, probably $10 or so for that one transaction.
