Too many to mention and the pros of it are that many would agree to say about the entertainment factor that it brings to everyone. But for the gamblers who used to get a living through gambling, it's more than that. The cons, I think we're all aware of what negativity it can bring to someone who at least can't control himself when he gambles.

I couldn't agree more with this statement. Once someone can gamble responsibly, there should be no disadvantages of gambling. Be responsible in all aspect including money and time, it will not give us any negative effect.

most disadvantages in gambling are rooted from excessive playing or addiction of the gambler. but if you are just a regular gambler who is using extra funds to gamble, you can definitely experience the pros - like enjoyment or fun, social connection and of course, earning extra money without expecting it.
we don't need to discuss this extensively, because it has been discussed over and over here and if you are a gambler, you already know the pros & cons to you. just don't make excuses of your gambling habits by giving those pros because you know very well what will it bring to you at the end of the day.

Gambling should be entertainment, and as long as it's like that it's good! It's a fun activity that costs some money if we lose, but if we are lucky we will win something, and that's all! If it's more serious than that you are risking too much and all the pros are in vain, you will see the real cons of gambling and all the problems that can come from that!

So don't think too much about the pros and cons of gambling, try to enjoy games you like with money you can afford to lose, and hopefully, you will not wander to the dark side!

back to the discussion that has been done over and over again. the initial goal of people playing gambling is of course to increase their money but over time there are those who are lucky, lose, get addicted, feel entertainment when playing gambling.

We can't encourage people to think hard about what the real purpose of their gambling is when they are still beginners, just let time pass and they will surely find the answers themselves.

And most of the time, cons about gambling are the most visible impact to the players or gamblers. So you can only enjoy gambling if you are using your own money, which you can very well afford to lose, and not using your funds for basic needs. There are pros, yes. But it depends on how you treat gambling. If it is just for leisure purposes, you can enjoy your games but if you are after for the income, which is not an assurance that you will go home with your winnings, this will be your headache.

At one point in my life, I lost a large sum of money several times. It has taught me to manage my own money responsibly.
I still spend too much money, often even on stupid things, but I think gambling makes me a lot more careful than if I hadn't experienced it.

my personal experience the conclusion is losing and winning is a normal thing in gambling that we can take from the positive side is "satisfaction" like art actually ! money will flow to the right people who can manage their minds so they are not addicted ! my pros and cons are neutral 1:1 gambling is not for under 18 ,gambling is full of risk but a gambler must be able to control himself ,so that gambling is prioritized for 18+ actually it's just a term but the correct one is for people who have mature minds not for people who are still unstable

Not all people visit the gambling board are gamblers. They can be gamblers or just visitors to this board and in reality don't make any bet.

Obviously noormcs5 wasn't talking to passive readers, he was talking to the posters of the section and everyone, maybe except you, knows that most of posters here are posting to fill their requirements for their campaign signatures. That's why the level is so low when you compare it with other gambling forums and why so few merits are given here.

Another pro, it helps you to fortify your mind because it teaches you that after bad losing streaks you will encounter better ones.

I'm not sure that's exactly what you mean, but in my opinion, the biggest risk and cons of gambling is addiction and its consequences.
Unfortunately, now more and more younger people like to gamble and this is the easiest way for them to get addicted. The pandemic causes us to limit our leaving home and gambling is developing at an alarming pace, which could have very bad consequences in the future.

It's always has pros and cons in any type. Gambling can bring fun, refresh your mind and opportunity to get rich after one bet. It has cons when people can not gamble responsibly, lose control of emotion and bets, then lose all capital. Worse, some people might do superb stupid things like rob money, suicide, whatever very negatively which I can not think of it thoroughly.

If you want to gamble or play games, do it responsibly.

It's a joke I guess. I don't think many people posting here play gambling in reality. But to answer your question I would quote an advantage : gambling helps you to understand what chances/risks and probabilities represent in real life and it helps you to evaluate them in a more accurate way.

I don’t see a lot of benefits of gambling. For me, it’s only entertainment when you have nothing to do at all. I was quite active in gambling in the recent lockdown while these days, I barely play any games; only a few sportsbet.
On the other hand, cons; you are wasting your time which you could use properly to do something productive, you would not lose money & less stress.
