This is possible, but it seems to me that from now on it will not be the same traditional bitcoin, it will be something new.

When Bitcoin is used on a mobile device, you can make payments in only two easy ways, namely scan and pay.  No need to register, swipe cards, type in your PIN, or sign anything.  bitcoin is an encrypted crypto currency.  Crypto users know how to pay bitcoin.
True, it is very easy. But the problem is the transaction fee which will be greater than the price of the goods.
I thought bitcoin would be hard to accept for an everyday payment method

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man

i don't think there is any need to be concerned about personal data because none is require, i completed the survey and no personal information was require except age and sex educational qualification which are not directly tied to any specific individual, this is base on general evaluation, anyone can comfortably do the survey, well everyone know what they consider a sensitive information,
anyways here below is a screen shot of part of the survey, i found it interesting..

Thanks for the share since I have no time to click and check a survey provided by a Newbie and haven't clearly say what is His thoughts about the survey.

To OP Nice asking of answers, hope it helps your target.

Maybe the adoption  will follow as the survey ends good right?

Because teaching people about the usage of Bitcoin will be the start of adoption from non believers .

No one would click a random link provided by a newbie also no one would be interested is sharing their personal details to any random person. At least I am not comfortable!

If you have any specific questions, you can post here in your thread and we will answer those but refrain from gathering persona details whatsoever!
That will be difficult as a researcher, first you have to manually collect the data and then I think most surveys online for research are mostly anonymous and does not ask for personal details. I understand the skepticism of clicking the link in an unknown site.

A big problem for BTC as a payment method is that it doesn't really work for that purpose. It takes too long and the fees are too high.

Partly true if we took into account micro transactions combined with payment in physical outlets and the occasional periods when due to the increased number of transactions there is a competition of users in terms of fees to enter the next block. But if you look at online payment with BTC, then you can adjust the whole thing to your needs - you don't have to pay the max fee and you don't have to wait physically in a store to pick up your product until you get the first confirmation.

The key is to understand how the whole thing works, learn what determines the size of the transaction (number of inputs/outputs), look at the current state of mempool (number of unconfirmed transactions and optimal fee) and of course use SegWit or LN if possible.

If the merchant is really BTC friendly and allows ample time for confirmation then OK. In practice I have used online merchants who needed the first confirmation within the hour. Sure I can pay the fee to do that (without certainty) but that's too high a fee, most of the time.

Online survey is always bad.

The readers, viewers and participants of your survey can be limited to one forum, one site, one geographic location (continent) and you can not randomly take a good sample for your survey. It is one of main and important reasons why pollsters in the US took their surveys very bad and get bad results.

Online survey if is not managed good can allow one person takes the survey 10 times or hundreds of time.
I don't really comprehend the text clearly

If you don't understand the text then how about asking the author what he meant and no just post 4 lines of nonsense?

And yeah, MusaMohamed is right.
Op, if you're doing this just for a simple study in school yeah it can provide you with some material but for anything more important like yearly exams or graduations (I don't know how the educational system in Slovenia works but you should still have those) your survey will be pretty useless and I doubt the teachers will be impressed about it.

The userbase you're researching is clearly pro bitcoin, you're asking questions in a community that is clearly biased towards bitcoin so for sure they will not point in the right direction. Also some of the questions are clearly going to make the users give 10 stars and some lack the "I don't have a clue" option. A lot of users even here have limited knowledge but at the same time I doubt anyone would say "strongly disagree" on this:
"I (would) have no difficulty understanding how Bitcoin technically works"

Go to a mobile convention and ask people if they understand how a phone works, wanna bet on the results?

I appreciate the effort you put into, as is clear from some of the questions and how they are arranged you dint; simply copy paste but I'm concerned about the image the results will paint compared to reality.

Who's gonna answer the survey more than once?  None, unless he has nothing to do with his time.

If that would be true 4chan would be no more.

Sorry I didn't participate in the survey in the opening post, because I don't want to click on a link that might not be safe. But I am curious
about the survey results, hopefully the results will be displayed in this topic later. And I will share my opinion regarding Bitcoin as a payment
method, as I have mentioned in another topic that I am including those who support Bitcoin as a payment. But the problem is my country
prohibits using Bitcoin as payment. So in the meantime I am only using Bitcoin as an investment, I hope that in the near future the government
of my country changes its mind by accepting Bitcoin as payment.

You're making a point but I think he cleared that point when he said that the data collected will be used in anonymized form. Also, I looked at the survey and from the best of my knowledge, it truly is anonymous. If you don't feel comfortable as you say, you can fill the form in your browser's incognito mode.

BTW, the survey is great.  Cool

I'm glad to know that you are conducting a research about bitcoin. I hope it turns well. Just to add with other's suggestion, I hope you would tell us the title of your research as well as some backgrounds or introduction about it or maybe some related literatures. I remember when you are conducting a research you must state the problem and your goals of your study. Also please do attach some images so that we can read some infos about your survey. I hope when the research is over, you will going to share the result of your study.

Perhaps you should also look for a good side of online survey.
Logically thinking... it will really be hard to find someone that has some background on bitcoin, specially we at pandemic, locked on our houses.
The story is different if he used random sampling, which I thiink he doesn't.
You know, he has his target sample for his survey Smiley I guess the OP used a type of sampling method which fitted the best on gathering information for his research.

Who's gonna answer the survey more than once?  None, unless he has nothing to do with his time.
The survey questionnaires are quite good, it's informative also in some part.

No one can portrays negatively about survey because from the on set we all knows that surveying always grant the short ways to understand and also knows the rudiments of a thing we are interested to adventure into, so carrying out such action or functions will direct the person to the positive way, I don't really comprehend the text clearly but from what I understood with survey humans can achieve a positive result.

Although Bitcoin is now present for quite a while many people are still not familiar with it. Many of them who are but don't know enough about it don't see Bitcoin as a payment method or think it's not reliable enough, don't trust it because it's not regulated or transactions are too expensive for them etc.
Personally I like to use Bitcoin as a payment method but many people don't and we are still very far away from using is a wide accepted payment method.

In my personal experience, merchant payment of bitcoin has decreased and people are losing their interest in paying through bitcoin.
There are several reasons for it, the most important ones being the fees and transaction time, introduction of crypto cards and other stable crypto for payment. People are also more keen on holding and trading bitcoin than to cash them out.

There are other ways to continue having more merchants that accept Bitcoin as payment, an exchange partner ship that have Fiat in their wallet . I mean merchant should make partner with one of the popular exchange in their country so every time theyhave payment it is fixed in Fiat value not in crypto since it's really volatile.

Hello!

I am a student of Faculty of Social Sciences. For my diploma thesis I want to find out how you think about Bitcoin as a payment method and in general. Your opinion will importantly contribute to a better understanding of Bitcoin use.

In accordance with the recognized ethical standards of scientific research with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), steps will be taken to protect your personal data in the process of collection and use for educational and scientific research purposes. The survey data collected will be used in anonymized form for research purposes.

Here is link to the survey: https://www.1ka.si/BitcoinSurvey
First I wanna say good luck with your diploma thesis have choose different topic about bitcoin as payment method in general, I have opinion why many people have move and change payment from fiat become bitcoin, first bitcoin is digital currency assets where sending bitcoin just few minute than you use fiat as your payment method, second why have to use bitcoin for payment because bitcoin value always increase day by day and fiat will give inflation for your money. How billion people not realize when using fiat for payment currency each year value will change and you can try buy something with $100 and the try to buy the same at next year, still you get the same product or not.

I think it will be nice to post your questions here so we can reply thank clicking on a link that may not be secure.
Things are not done in such manners on this forum, series of surveys has been made in the past and this is how they have been made so far. But, such as this is optional and not compulsory for everyone. In the past, most of the surveys i participated did paid some few sats to participants but that doesn't mean without it survey won't get done honestly.
