Rape can happen at will in public, and people who pass by don't stop it and get involved.

To the rapist its be batter to put in jail for lifetime and give him punishment that understand the feellings of being raped.

Probably to hang on the tree is the most best way to grant to all rapist in the world. Having them on the tree will be seen by many and be a reminder not to follow what that person do. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

Marriage with victim it is the worst variant i've ever heard. It is not punishment for a rapist, it looks like a punishment for a victim. I can't imagine how woman can live with her offender. It is not fair. I think an appropriate punishment for rapist is life imprisonment or death penalty

the appropriate penalty for a rapist is punishable by death. This arena is very detrimental to the victims of the virginity and destruction of the future if the children are still.
If the victim would speak about how the rapist will be punished the answer is death penalty, or a kind of torture until death and also shame it in the public places. 40 years jail term would be fine, when the person comes out should be weak and grey. How dare you do such emotional, physical and psychological damage to another human like yourself
I don't think that any country is having such long prison sentences for rape. In countries such as Sweden, the rapists are often able to avoid jail time by paying a small monetary fine or by doing a few hours of community service. Imagine the pain and suffering that a victim must undergo after the crime. Death sentence should be given to the rapist and death by guillotine would be the best punishment for rapists.
