I think The death penalty is one of the best punishment for them.
I think rapists need to be judged extremely cruelly, because this is an abnormal behavior in society!
Thinking they are still humans, i think castration would be a better choice than death. After all, they commited rapes because of their lust. But if they lose the only way to relieve them of lust, thats basically the best toeture theyd get don't ya think?
The best punishment that I can recommend for a rapist is castration. A rapist should be castrated and let him alone to continue to live as a castrated free man.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. Punishment must be really rough

They should be burned to death. Those people don't have mission on earth anymore that's why they're just do annoying this and ruin other peoples life. But if somebody here says it's not good to accuse rapists to death then try to deal with them and tell me your punishment after.
The punishment should not be an issue of debate, their private part should be cut off, its simple and straight forward, even the bible says, that part of you which will make you commit sin should be cut off.

Its better to punish the rapist with death. I don't know if there's forgiveness for the person who raped somebody especially if the victim is child. if death penalty is not enough then there should be more punishment. because just like saudi arabia their punishment for the rapist is beheading but until now they still have the many case about rape. then if this is the case the there should more punishment than then. I mean give some more pain before death penalty occur.

Life in prison
I still don't understand and would never understand how raping a woman is pleasurable and a cool thing to do. The sad thing is it is getting out of hand and if stricter laws are not made to punish those proven guilty. It might not stop

I think that it can be done for different reasons. Sometimes people may just be craving a sense of power. It may be similar to bullying or child abuse. You take advantage of somebody weaker than you to try to fill some void in yourself. I guess some people also do it out of sexual frustration. They feel that nobody will give them what they want. Then they just decide to take it. They may be angry or jealous that somebody else it getting "it" and they're not. They may even "rationalize" that they deserve "it" more. None of these things are actually justifications, just an attempt at an explanation. .
I think rapists are someone who has a sexual disorder besides that they have destroyed the future of others (who were their victims) so I think the death penalty suits them. prison sentences will not give a deterrent effect to rapists.
