Rapist needs death sentence because it's reduce the rapist make a fear of death is most powerful fear rapist will burn in hell for sure.
I still don't understand and would never understand how raping a woman is pleasurable and a cool thing to do. The sad thing is it is getting out of hand and if stricter laws are not made to punish those proven guilty. It might not stop

It is a social evil, not just in India but also in many countries around the world. Children and women are pitiful victims of the fun of the gangsters. I also agree to the death penalty for those who are sick, and there seems to be no more punishable punishment. 
the mildest hukuam is on castration, and the maximum punishment is life imprisonment, that is the appropriate punishment for a rapist.
Anyone who rapes deserves to be sentenced to prison for committing such an abominable, unlawful, unconventional and ungodly act. Women are to be treated with extreme care and affection and not be forcefully used. Also, their body deserves some respect because their body is their pride and dignity. So, guys must learn to control their lustful emotion over babes to avoid rape.
These are great statements for the most part. Did you really think that so people here are arguing that rape is okay? I haven't seen any posts like that. Women should be treated with utmost respect. So should men. Men should learn to control their emotions and not violate other people. This also goes for women. The question though is how can you stop it from happening? If it does happen, what should be the consequences for the criminal?
Perhaps the most appropriate penalty for rapists is to be castrated because raping a person may be disruptive to the psychology of the person receiving rape

if it is the same, you might not be able to categorize rape. but if rape might be a proper punishment on castration or whipping.

This shouldn't however lead us to extreme measures. I for one believe that death sentences should longer have a place in modern society. Twenty years of jail term should be sufficient enough to prove a solid point. The other option of marrying the victim is complete garbage. How do you propose that I live the rest of my life with my violator? How preposterous!
I agree that jail time is a good punishment. The death sentence or marrying the rapist are certainly not good options. The important thing though is what the conditions of the jail are like. If you put a rapist in prison with a bunch of other rapists for 20 years, I think there's a good chance he'll just get worse and repeat his offense when he get outs. If you put him in we gang members and murderers, it would probably be worse yet. There needs to be good rehabilitation programs. Prisoners should be able to work and get more educated to prepare them for a good like, when they get out.

I live in Tunisia and the punishement for the rapists is forcing him to marry the girl he raped!!!
The whole world should agree on a new severe punishement to try to limit these incidents and why not stop them!!

I hate these rapists very much. What I can't understand most is that in some countries, if women are violated, they will not only punish men, but let them marry. This is a law that I can't stand!
The problem with rapist are if they receive a small punishment and once they finish that there is a big possibility that will do the same thing again and again so the punishment should be very big
Those people that conduct rapes are animals, literally. The deserve the worst even death is considered as a punishment for them. However I am opposed to any such violence. I want a peaceful place to live without rapes and any kind of violation
I think the punishment of rapist is only death sentence.if the rules is effective in every country ..one day rape case will be totally off..and the respect and honour of female will be back again in the society
I think they need to get abandoned to somewhere with no life in it to find out humans are precious at least they makes you to not feel lonely , no matter what color or what language they have.
I would put them to swim inside a swimming pool with 1 ton of well cut onions, they must cry like there is no tomorrow. 
death penalty is the best solution because rapist cannot fear if the punishments is jail only
perhaps castration is higher than the dying penalty. the quantity of disgrace which the criminal face after the punishment will make him consider that he's in a kingdom worse than dying. Castration must be made obligatory for pedophiles.
