Rape victims are often looked down in the society and have to suffer mental torture without any fault of theirs. The society turns the offender's life into living hell. I like China punishment ^^ China has the law of punishing the rapist straight away with a death sentence and in some scenarios, rapists are also punished by the mutilation of their genitals.
I think hang a rapist is tooo much to do.
As long as the victim is alive, I do not think the death penalty is a good solution.
Instead of hanging that person, I think we should cut his penis off as a punishment.

if in my opinion it would be better to have a better rapist be given the death penalty or castration penalty.
In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

The simplest and most effective to cut off is what committed the crime and normally let it live on. This is very correct, people just do not want to live in the future. i wish is to death penalty because more people like a addict will attempt to rape because of the drugs .

The penalty should be death, a slow painful death so it will set an example to the people to think twice before commuting such offense. Theres alot of place that people can pay for sex and fulfill their sexual pleasure. Most Rapist are drug addicts and with mental health conditions.
Rape is a type of sexual assault initiated by one or more person against another person.The punishment is depend on the case and age of the rape victim.If the victim's age is under 15 years old,the suspect will go to jail for 15 years.And if the victim died because of rape,the suspect will go to jail for 30 years.For me,that is not enough. I don't agree to death penalty, so I think cutting of their private part is enough. Or cutting of their hands, so every one will see and know what this person has done. It will be a symbol that you are a rapist or you have done something worse. Just like in other country, they will know that you are a thief because if you get caught stealing something, you fingers will be cut off. When they see someone that has its finger cut off, they already know that that person has done that specific crime.

yes it is good idea to giving punishment for rapists. in so many country's rapists are escaped from the punishment. it is not correct. they doing lot of mistakes and escaping from law. so government can pass strict rules then only it becomes reduce otherwise every day it may happens .
Hanged rapist to death or behead them. In our country, they is no death penalty because of this human rights commission. But do they see all the criminals is lurking and moving freely? They are not doing or reacting when victims die because a criminal killed them and like when they raped them. They not doing anything. But when a criminal is arrested due to drugs or rape they are reacting. Human rights commission is always saying to not kill the criminal, "give him a chance to change". Do they think the families that lost a love one because of this? Do they think all the women that is traumatized becaus of rape? I thunk, death penalty is the way. Why? If one rapist was sentenced to death penalty, other can got scared.

Yeah... even in my country (India), a lot of the rapists have escaped from punishment by marrying the victims. In most of the cases, it is the victim's parents who come up with such proposals. They fear that since their daughter is raped, she will not be able to get a suitable match in the future. But many such marriages break up after a few months.

If proven guilty, it should be death penalty so that those who were planning to that crime will know what will happen to them once they do that. Having a death penalty will lessen the crime especially in rape cases. But since killing is a mortal sin, so for me lifetime imprisonment is the best punishment to that rapist if they are proven guilty.
The death penalty is too easy for rapists. They need to be castrated without anesthesia and thrown into prison to be raped by men there every day and they have experienced this horror for the rest of their lives.

I honestly believe that the best punishment for rape is for the rapists to get raped using tools of pain. Yes, death penalty is okay however, it's an easy escape for them to get away with what they've done. Women are meant to be treated with respect and young girls are to be protected. Marrying their victim should never even be considered. Just imagine rape being the foundation of their marriage.

Well, I think lifetime in jail is enough and they should pay the damages to their victims. I don't see death penalty as a solution to rape. Besides, most of the rape now are with consent, it happens that they are raped by the people they know, such as their friends and boyfriends.

I agree about the death penalty. It's just going to put these monsters put of their misery. Instead, let's let them live the rest of their miserable lives in prison. One thing though, knowing your attacker does not mean you consented.
The rightful punishment for all the rapist in the world is by cutting their private parts off. And give them a sentence of a lifetime in jail and let the other prisoners rape them as long as they want. That way those rapers and even the ones who are thinking about raping someone will be afraid of doing it.
