I was wondering how the blocks are distributed with the pools right now, because it seems like minin.gs has a disproportionate amount of the hashrate ~300KH/s. Could this adversely affect the coin and cause a 51% attack?

That means they have over 50%. That is bad. They are under reporting the network hash rate by 50% as well. Network hash rate is 565KH/s at the moment.

Not only that, but other pools are finding lots of orphans due to this pool being in control of the blockchain. So everyone is moving to mining with this pool. This will kill the coin if we can't recover.

The best way to avoid this, is to move to another pool or to ask the pool owner to stop registrations temporalily.

I see network h/r is three times higher then pool h/r, 368.000 KH/sec is against 122.800 KH/sec. Anyway MG pool fee takes 30% now and you can use other pool, all links are in the header.

Pool hashrate is 23.24 KH/sec now. 300KH/s what you saw is network hashrate.

Why quazarmarket seems "frozen"  Huh
Much buy wall but no one move grrrr

Do you mean OTC -https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=607320?

This is reason:

I've added the new proposals and refreshed the ones you have asked.

Now you can carry out civilized trading on 3 exchanges:

PoloniEx - http://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_qcn

Bittrex - https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-QCN

SwapHole - http://www.swaphole.com/#!market/QCN/BTC

Please use their services.

New proposals will not be accepted from now on, I'll be working on the ones I currently have. You may also address me as the escrow. PM me.

I'm working hard on the development and I have got no time to online monitor OTC.

Quick question for anyone who knows the answer.

I run boolbd (Boolberry miner) and quazarcoind (Quazarcoin miner) on identical hardware (literally the same machine but at different times)

When I "show_hr" on boolbd the hashrate is about 1.1MH/s (1168038, 1144583 etc.) However, for quazarcoind it's only 547H/s

Both miners are installed from source and I've looked through the source on github, (the projects are almost identical at the source structure level) and I can't see what's accounting for the huge difference. This is not really meant to be a question about boolberry but what is the difference between these two cryptonote setups that explains the vast difference in hashing speed? Both of them tax my machine in very similar ways.

I'm sure this is a quickie for someone who knows.

Boolberry don't use the CryptoNight algorithm perhaps it's main difference.

No, difficulty is too high for me to even consider mining it right now
