Great project, good job guys! Looks like one of the good projects in 2018 ! I am with you and keep going, technical standards are awesome as well.
But,  for that I like the way this Masternode coin want to combine torrent and blockchain. I think there will be a huge market for this Masternode.

TRON did one part of it
We want to do the other Wink

We'll be publishing other monetization related developments for our coin within a whitepaper this week~

It's nice to see so many improvements and additions right at the start of the Journey. There is still lot more to come & long way to GO !!

Indeed - we are only 2 weeks~ in
27 Masternodes live
5000+ magnet links searchable from your wallet
and 50~ nodes in total

We're hoping to bring some game changing improvements both coin-value wise and torrent related in the next 2 weeks Cool

Working on a small memory leak related to torrent search, should have a wallet update today (again, non mandatory)

We'll try to push in the 'submit torrent' tab at the same time Smiley

What happens if a malicious torrent is voted as good for some reasons? Can some ill intended people take over the majority of the masternodes?

Once voted bad enough times it is removed by the network,
Taking over the majority of the MNs would obviously cost money - but we have countermeasures in place to prevent such occurrence, if it is actually deemed malicious (the core team can mark the masternodes collateral as invalid using a spork)

It is not ideal to interfere in such way with the network and fair-and-square kind of situation, but if the whole reason someone setup those nodes was to destroy the network I think it would only be fair to prevent it.

Even though we were against it - we have created a 1 page site for people who want to distribute our network to non-technical users at http://web.qmcoin.gq/

We'll update the design and content soon, with some information about the team, how things work, and torrent related tutorials.
We just need to figure out if we can release the in-wallet streaming feature yet Wink

Enjoy, and spread the word!  Cheesy

Just a heads up to MN holders - since there are 22 MNs online, it means that voting for your own torrents will require at least 2 or 3 MNs in order to earn 5 QMC per torrent  Wink Hope you managed to enjoy the early adopters opportunity there (except it doesn't look like too many did!)

The idea of a decentralized network supporting a torrent service that is not susceptible to political or governmental jurisdiction is attractive, though I just came across this and need to read more into it.
About this point -

"We will periodically review the market and consult educated people in the financial field to adjust rewards for short periods of time in order to stabilize any signs of inflation or deflation - preventing large dumps and other market changes that cannot be predicted by code."

This sounds practical considering the volatility of the cc market, but couldn't unexpected deviation of rewards itself potentially cause coin value fluctuation? (please disregard if this question has already been answered, as I said I have some catching up to do).

It would most likely cause some micro fluctuations, at most.
Since this is Crypto and not real world economics - coins are not getting destroyed just because they are old (the main reason governments print money) Smiley
Slowing down the supply or speeding it up *might* effect the price at that specific period of time , but in the long run it would ensure stability in terms of inflation/deflation. And hey, we might not even need to make much use of it anyway Wink
