One account controls 30% of all coins.  Roll Eyes This is a really bad distribution. If this account sells only a small part of the stake then we will see an enormous crash.

Is it known who owns this account?

QORA is the most innovative of all crypto altcoin.Marc Andreesen calls it an invention as profound as "computers in 1975" and "the Internet in 1993." Fred Wilson thinks it's the future of social media. Kim Dotcom wants to build a new global network on it.
Qora is one of many so-called "second generation" cryptocurrencies emerging in the wake of Bitcoin's unignorable popularity. But Qora is more than a currency. Simply put, it's a peer-to-peer transaction technology; it allows people to exchange digital assets without an intermediary (and in relative privacy).
To do this, it leverages the blockchain. Sure, the blockchain is the beating heart of Bitcoin, the world's most popular cryptocurrency. But Qora developers believe it can power so much more.
Financial transactions, experts suggest, are but one application of blockchain technology. A blockchain is a kind of "public ledger," a transparent record of transactions between parties. No central authority owns or controls this record; it's distributed across entire networks of computers that monitor and maintain it. It allows parties to exchange digital goods without having to trust anyone, including one another. (Blockchain is actually a practical solution to a computer science problem called the "Two Generals" or "Byzantine Generals" problem, which addresses ways multiple parties can achieve consensus in a distributed fashion.) And every one of those transactions occurs with radical transparency—even as the identities of the transacting parties remain private.
Some prognosticators claim the technology will transform not only financial transactions but also any transaction involving a contract. Qora's developers consider their project a critical component in next-generation voting systems, encrypted messaging, automated transactions—and, yes, social networking.

This qora beast deserves to be in the top 5 coins..we all know that, so I am not surprised. It's just a matter of time, until people learn it and start using it.

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
Moreover next version will also allow commenting of blogposts to make the social network even better Wink.
Next version will also most likely contain a hardfork, because we want to extend the arbitrary transactions to contain optional multiple receiver, which allows to transfer funds while modifying namestorage.
This could be used to send e.g. 10 qora to the postowner if you like his blogpost.

That is great news for Qora. It will make it all even more interesting than usual. Prices are dirt cheap so I'd better grab some Qora before it goes all the way up to the moon!

By the way, can anyone tell me what is the PoS rate % for Qora staking? Just asking becuase I have checked the site recently, but it doesn't seem to provide in depth specs of Qora's PoS.  Smiley

There's not really any PoS rate %. The supply is fixed, so the only way you get a reward for staking (I believe it's properly called forging, a la NXT), are the tx fees you get.

If that is so, then I think it makes it fair for staking (unlike other PoS coins). Pretty cool. I'll try this out with a bunch of Qora that I am going to transfer into to my wallet. The next thing that I am going to try out is the Asset Exchange.  Grin
