Hi guys,
It's been a while since I had a look at Qora, and I seem to have missed the burn deadline for Qortal.
Qortal is looking great and I'm running a node right now. However, I've decided to maintain Qora as well because it would be a shame to lose the original Qora blockchain.
Right now I've moved the codebase to maven, refactored some code, modernized the UI design and updated the peers list.
Will be running a Qora node soon too, since there aren't many left.

I would be happy to sponsor you as a minter on Qortal, you would likely make much more than if you would have burned your QORA, unless you had a LOT of QORA anyway. Come join the Qortal community.

You can still run QORA, but we are no longer developing the QORA codebase... We are now working on the Qortal codebase.
The QORA network is still a usable network, and there are still nodes running it.

There is no way to burn to get to QORT now, we had a burn date posted a long time ago...
However, I will be happy to sponsor you to become a minter on Qortal.
You will likely earn more as a minter at this early stage, than you would have from QORA transition anyway... unless you held a LOT of QORA.

Yes, I still run multiple QORA nodes.
Is there a reason for that?
What is the purpose?
I have at least some temporary plans for the QORA chain, at least until we have data storage in Qortal. Things like utilizing the QORA chain to 'copyright' (for lack of a better word) images, etc... until they can be ported over to Qortal.
Also, I just don't like getting rid of blockchains, especially ones like QORA that have a bunch of useful features that can still be made use of.
So keeping the chain running I feel is basically my 'duty' to the ecosystem.
The QORA chain is still a very useful chain, and it has some data that is useful. So I just want to keep it running. Eventually I may find a way to port the data over to Qortal as well, but eventually we will probably lose the QORA chain entirely. Just not yet.
