I certainly have made mistakes during my time on the forum.

Not everyone who has been in the Forum for very long just like yourself can admit he had done wrong not only that but to come out in the open to say it, some might not think of coming here to start a thread like this instead they prefer to go on with their normal activities on the Forum. I  must say I respect you for that and I wish we can reserve the hands of time to amend your mistakes, congrats and respect to you @Quickseller.

Oh, old good times Smiley. Then I thought that forum would be better place without such drama, but now I kinda miss these things.

The forum has had an interesting run. It evolved from a technical place to discuss Bitcoin, to a place where people created Bitcoin projects, to a place where people attacked creators for attention, to a place where there are so few people left creating things using Bitcoin that even the trolls seeking attention can’t find anyone left to attack but low level newbie scammers.

Not sure why, but when I saw QS name I immediately thought of Cryptohunter, I think it was 2019 or so when the two of you were the shining stars in the reputation and meta boards, I am not sure how other people remember that era, but it was indeed a lot of fun, certainly better than today's lack of drama. Cheesy

Oh, old good times Smiley. Then I thought that forum would be better place without such drama, but now I kinda miss these things.

In retrospect, its crazy how wrapped up in the drama here I used to be, arguing non-stop with cryptohunter and TECSHARE about matters that are in hindsight, extremely trivial & petty. Then there was Lauda, who for years cast a dark cloud over the entire reputational system of the forum. Might as well throw in that I miss marlboroza and T-MAN. They provided much-needed humor to this place, amidst the wash of ass-kissery and spam.

Just saw this thread now, but still, there is still some time until anniversary. So, I want to congratulate you in advance. Time flies fast, but 10 years on forum is a lot. I wish it's not last such anniversary.
Good point that so many old time members, some really big names left forum, become significantly less active or unfortunately passed away. You're not posting much recently. Bitcointalk isn't same place without these old members.

Sadly, some of the forum members I had the opportunity to get to know and talk to have died. I honestly cried when I saw that o_e_l_e_o had locked his goodbye/farewell thread.

Wow, what an exceptional piece of shit you still are after all those years. Could have composted yourself into oblivion or at the very least have the decency to not lie so blatantly in your "me me look at me 10 years look at me" thread by bringing up someone you so viciously attacked in the past.

But that's not how sociopaths behave, is it.
Go fuck yourself. You are a piece of shit.
You had to expect that some might give you some shit or a piece of their mind. When I 1st joined the forum I thought you were 1 of the good people of the forum who were IMO smart and helpful at the time, but as we all know, your true colors shined through.

TBH I'm shocked you didn't disappear when the escrow deal came to light.

Another long-lived forum user... And you decided to announce the upcoming anniversary in advance. How thoughtful this is. Smiley

It is good that even after years you continue, even if with less zeal, to take part in the forum. I, as part of this community, am pleased to see that even now those participants who were actually at the origins of the formation of the forum and bitcoin remain on the bitcointalk, and are not having fun on their Caribbean islands Smiley. It seems to me that your presence here, at least from time to time, is very important for the BTC-community. The circulation and renewal of users on the forum is inevitable, so you should not be sad about the departed users (this is exactly the impression that is created from reading your post), hoping that everything is fine with them. But the bitcointalk continues to live its own life and it’s great that this community continues to survive.

Today is not July 22, so I won’t congratulate you. Smiley

Someone is going to milk this pathetic thread for all its worth...  Ten years scamming is not an accomplishment.

In about two months, I will have been on the forum for 10 years. I have not been able to spend much time on the forum recently, certainly nowhere near as much time as I have in the past, and I am not sure I would remember to visit on my anniversary, so I figured I would create a thread today.

Honestly, it's hard to believe that you and I joined the forum less than a year apart, because to me it seems like you've been a member for way, wa-ay longer than I have.

A month ago it was 10 years since I participated in this forum. It's a bit unbelievable that I got here before the two of you, I always considered you as the basic furniture of this forum.

All this nostalgia  makes me feel old
I am feeling this very often lately.

I don't see myself as the young man who was discovering new stuff in the internet , like bitcoin and this forum, nearly 8 years ago

Congratulations for your mark, all of you.

And where in the world did The Pharmacist go off to?  I haven't heard hide nor hair of that member in what seems like ages.  It's almost as if he left but you can still feel his presence, you know?

You know?
If I am not mistaken, you are The Pharmacist. IIRC, you were able to get your name changed a while back.

It is unmasked because of the "The" in the username.

I heard he became a vivid Craig Wright supporter and has sold all his bitcoin to buy bitcoin cash. He is probably mourning now due to the unfair treatment faketoshi is receiving by the courts. It's like the whole world has turned against him and nobody wants to believe him even though he pinky-promised that he is Satoshi.

I noticed you and others like The Pharmacist, Pmalek, OgNasty and others I hardly see again in the forum.
I think you mentioned my name here by mistake.

digaran

Wowza....I haven't thought of good ol' digaran in some time.  It's strange how usernames just slip in and out of my brain, even if they were personalities I ought to remember, and I know there are probably two dozen more that wiggled their way out of my noodle over the past 9+ years.  At this point I probably should just keep a list.

Your last couple of PM to me seemed to suggest your were retiring this UID. Have you changed your mind?
I looked in my outbox, and this is the only PM I sent to you in the past several years:
Oh, it looks like you are gearing up to apply for an sig campaign after all.
No, I don't anticipate being active enough to participate in an sig deal. Although I think I probably could get into a campaign if I tried. It's a moot point either way.

And yes, my post was funny, thank you for the LOL

Are you a Rams fan? They have a decent roster this year, even with Donald's retirement. At a minimum, I think they will do better than my Panthers, but that is not a very high bar...

I think you mentioned my name here by mistake. I am still very active and post on Bitcointalk every day. You must have confused me with someone else or we aren't reading and writing in the same boards, which is weird because you can find me posting all over the place. I prefer serious discussions about Bitcoin above anything else, though.
Maybe I placed the words wrongly. The ones I mentioned, are the ones I saw in my newbie days that I still see till date and then others who might have disappeared and these are the people I didn't bother mentioning their names.
Same explanation goes to OgNasty... I participated in his newbie sign a message thread and pretty still available in the forum.

Very funny. Well times have changed. Seeing as how digaran was in a campaign for a while, maybe you can be too, though I wouldn't recommend you to any managers. Still, good luck.

Kind Regards
