The reason is that I can play gambling without anyone knowing and I don't have to use my bank to deposit the money. I can use a wallet in the market or any other personal wallet without filling in the required forms if we use a bank as a source of funds for gambling. The deposit process is also relatively faster than depositing through a bank. But there is a possibility that later gambling sites will also require verification from every gambler, even though they use crypto to gamble.

I have used crypto casino/bookmakers because:
- I can bet also fraction of euro cent and generally there are lower fees then fiat bookmakers
- Deposits and withdrawal are immediate
- I can access to a wider range of betting opportunities/ several markets
- I don't want share with my "bank"/"government" that I am sport gambler
- Some games are provably fare
- Easy and quick registration process
- Wider option of bonus/offers

I am doing a little research on WHY people are betting /gambling online with btc/crypto from various countries/states worldwide, and was hoping bitcointalk members can be of some assistance.
I would specifically like to know (if you happen use crypto to gamble online) why you do so.
eg is it because you:
any info appreciated, if you can give me your state/country that would be helpful too for context.

There is a certain psychological point - it is psychologically easier to spend cryptocurrency than fiat money.
This is a purely psychological trick that our imagination does. In fact, a deflationary bitcoin is a much more valuable asset than fiat currency. In the long term, the price of bitcoin shows a steady increase.
In an online casino, you can win or you can lose. Gambling is completely based on luck.
I am more comfortable losing a sum of money in cryptocurrency than a sum of money in fiat currency. It's a very irrational choice, but it's true.
Also, crypto payments are much more convenient (for me) than fiat payments. They also help me maintain my anonymity and privacy.

That's true! I agree! In some legit casino you cannot deposit by card, because of regulations for specific license. That's why I think more crypto online casinos will pop up in future. Crypto payments give many options to people. We all know that it's a matter of time that more and more people will BTC or any other currency on daily bases in real life.

Unfortunately, these advantages can't really enjoy by anyone:
- Other crypto gambling sites prohibit the use of their site in some countries
- Some Exchanges don't allow a deposit to and withdrawal from the gambling site
- Other countries now have strict regulations regarding online gambling sites regardless if it's crypto-related or not
- There are now reports of asking KYC when a gambler won a big amount in a crypto-gambling site. In other words, part of the terms.
Although there are solutions and the majority still taking advantage of crypto betting, expect more obstacles regarding crypto-gambling in the future.

Gambling is not legal in many countries.
This is the main reason people consider bitcoin or other similar currencies because you do not need to involve the bank to deposit the money and you will not get into trouble having a money trail to a gambling website and with crypto currencies you can easily deposit and withdraw without much fuzz and so is the reason people are opting for it but still we need to see a huge growth in the crypto based gambling websites as the fiat sites still rules this space.That is right. People don't have to bother with the banks because they can do it by themselves. They can buy bitcoin or other coins to play gambling, and even they don't have to fill or to complete the account. Maybe this can make online gambling will get more popular in the future because people can find easiness in playing gambling without interfering with their bank's account. People will free to use their coins for anything they want, and they don't have to report it to the banks.

I just follow trend and use digital money is more effective than currency. First I got speed transaction, under 10 minutes my deposit and withdraw are finish. Second reason crypto have volatility sometimes I got more value from their movement. Last reason is because I don't need to bank, all I need is laptop and network.

In my case the reason I gamble with crypto is because it is easier compared to regular casinos, in most bitcoin casinos you only need to give your email and there are even casinos that allow you to bet without registering on their website at all so you can bet immediately without any delays, and the second factor that makes me prefer to bet with cryptocurrencies is the privacy, I do not see why I need to give my name to any casino when the only thing I want to do is to gamble and yet fiat casinos will not let you withdraw your money unless you verify your identity with them and I am not willing to do that.

Value pertains to the price of the crypto you're holding. I think of it as another reason too, if you hold a certain cryptocurrency which you will use to gamble and you've been holding it for a long time, the price matters. If you bought it at a very cheap price before and you have decided to spend it through gambling.It's a good reason because you don't have to gamble all of it but just a pinch and with a specific amount.

Crypto is useful as a divider to cash I must pay bills with, also I receive crypto as payment for in game items. Sometimes the bet I make is on esports or computer based competition and games so its all part of the same economy and one part balances out the other. I'd really rather not be flipping back and forth into FIAT which has its own problems of losing value and right now has little benefits from bank interest available so why not crypto.
Also crypto can be way less hassle, quicker to transfer even then a bank account. Not all but some of my banks take upto 30 minutes to acknowledge the transfer is made, its just a pain and everything you do on a bank statement is recorded and used for a credit history which I really dont need the bother of as I know I only gamble quite small amounts.
I think because crypto is no hassle to used in gambling site tha's why many players used it, also some gambling site operated by crypto so its really need to have it. I think having a crypto then used it in any transaction is really helpful especially when we want a fast transaction and for online site. For me crypto is really helpful not only for gambler but when holding it can possible give you profit. Also crypto can be way less hassle, quicker to transfer even then a bank account.
