Addiction to gambling is same as addiction to drugs and other substances, The first solution to this is for the individual to be ready to come out of their addictions and this could be done by having some changes in the daily habits characters and activities that could settle all the possibilities of sliding back into the addictions.
So for that, we have to monitor all our activities, to make sure that we are not overly getting involved in gambling and other vices that could possibly negatively affect our well-being.
Although I feel that addiction to drugs has more effect on the individual than addiction to gambling, I once said that some compulsive gamblers can steal money just to bet, and this also applies to some drug addicts in our region, but the level at which drug addicts steal things is very alarming; in fact, they can sell all their belongings just to make sure they take their normal substance. Also, I think that it is more difficult to convince a drug addict to stop than it is with compulsive gamblers, but they both have the same case for resolution of their problem, which is to first of all be convinced that what they are doing is wrong and have to keep in check their habits towards that which they are doing that is not right.
Apparently there are levels to this and one is overly higher than the other. Addiction is something that builds in the subconscious act of someone having cravings for a particular thing or activity and in most cases, it’s always that difficult to quit.
The best thing is never to form or develop the addiction in the first place. While drugs might seem to pick when compared with gambling addiction is because, it’s outlawed and you doing drugs is you already on the band side of government.
Meanwhile, drug addiction plays on your metal state of being and for some, it’s an escape from time and all that goes on about them. This pretty makes it a do without as it’s tailored into their lifestyle while, gambling. It’s a view thing and how financial sufficient you are. Those who see it for a means to survival always peaks in this scale but then, addiction only takes a gradual approach to being dropped.
