If you are truly addicted to gambling, then you should stop playing completely. But for me, I just gamble for entertainment and set aside a small amount of money each week to use for gambling. If you set rules and stick by them, it can be fun.
If you are in a casino will lose their pocket money neither for you nor for your loved ones will have no problems. Don't chase the big win. Play for fun at the most minimal rates.
I couldn't agree more to this thread especially if you are someone to almost loses everything that you have like money, car, jewelry, and houses Which you own. also if you happen to notice that one of your loved ones or family member approaches and inform you that you almost losing time with them because of gambling.
I don;t know about that, I know addiction is terrible for all people involved, but to be fair, it isn't going to happen to everybody. There are enough people that do have self-control and this thread just makes it seem like it happens to almost anyone.

Exactly. Its not easy specially if you are really addicted in gambling. Because I read a lot of stories, horrible ending to it. And I feel pity for the families who are left behind. Because they have lost their love ones to gambling, and they are left clueless as to what have triggered the suicide if either the father or the mother.

I think depending on people, when we become addict gambler is certainly not good, the most important is the control when gambling, so we can control ourselves and have a target when gambling, moreover, make the gambling for fun, not for money or the rich.
Of course gambling addiction, or any addiction for that matter, is bad. Though we still have to find a good reason to quit and no quit for the wrong reasons. If you do quit without a really great reason then most likely you will be back in there the next morning. We also need a good support team that will help out in getting over any addiction.

This call I think is for people who have become addicted to gambling and are destroying themselves and their families. Luckily I am far away from such condition, I like play gambling and slots yeah but I know what I am doing and I am only playing with money I can afford to lose. Hi everyone, want to share my story here, I was once a gambler that I can gamble big amount of money in one day, I have this thinking that maybe I can make a living off gambling and get rich. I won big before but I lost back on the other day too.
And once you lost, you will try to recover back your lost amount and from there, the snowball just keep rolling, and you find yourself in bad mood everyday as you will keep on depositing all your savings and always hoping to recover back your loss. Haha its good to quit in the gambling because you are losing your money everyday. Its better to go for relationship because its good to have a family someday. You have kids and work and every year you have family reunion that is good for your health unlike gambling always stress in money.

Yeah, it reminds me that valentines day is almost there.
Anyway, if you have obligation in your family, they should be your priority and the last is gambling. If you are a responsible family member, probably a bread winner, gambling is not on your mind specially if you have a job.
