In my personal observation,It's pretty hard practice to quit.As myself gambling addiction is one of the hardest problems to stop.But I was tried my best possible way to stop and recover from gambling unfortunately fully not.I thing it's now under my control of and only gambling on my best research basis.
Yes I am agree with OP, if we can stop gambling maybe our life is better. We know that gambling is very addictive, with gambling we can forget anything and always will gambling. They always think that find money is easier with gambling.
It is bad if you are going to treat gambling as source of fast money and that's going to affect your relationship with your family. So if you are not going to be cautious on your addiction in gambling that can go far to its utmost effect which can result to destruction of your family. Most of the gamblers that can't overcome this problem are leading into that situation.
That's a different case if you are an addicted gambler and you are experiencing to have a quarrel with your family then gambling is a curse to your family. And you need to quit it as fast as you can because if you are not going to do something and resolve it immediately, you will end up into broken relationship with them.

It is really to beat the house. Many tried to take down the house but never wins. It is really right that we dont have to rely on taking profit from gambling, from what happened to me, in the long term, there are no profits but dissapointments and regrets. But now i have learned my lesson and just gambles using my faucets and free rolls.
Only dumb people who are using all of their money into gambling and keep gambling even they were lose. Smart person will play gambling only with the money they can afford to lose. It is hard to do to quit gambling with promotions and contest currently, but it's worth to try and only play gambling for killing your stress/time.

It's already entered category addict if risking your home, I suggest don't make gambling as a main job because it will destroy life, which is already rich will become poor and the poor would become a criminal. This is very dangerous, I agree that gambling should be limited by always control itself.

If you can fund your habit why not? but as a piece of advice, quit if you can't handle your gambling habit. The earlier you quit, the better and the easier you can get out of it. The OP is right, think about your loved ones, they are probably worried about us when we gamble and same as how we feel, they are also probably nervous about the result.

Some of what you say here is true but that doesnt mean gambling will ruin your life. If you have an addictive personality and cannot control when to stop gambling, then yes you prob shouldnt gamble. If you have self control and just wanna toss a few dollars around here n there then youll be fine.
Well, about your statement true that gambling can't ruin your life, but gambling can be a tools to ruin our lives when we become a very addicted in gambling or it will become one of our vices, if that happen it would be hard for us to quit, it takes time before we totally surrender it fully, it will really take on due process.

Well, gambling is dangerous only when we will be addicted gambler. Otherwise if you play gambling as a game and deal with our family as a family member than both have a different ways. In this case, gambling couldn't distrube us and also our family. Gambling dangerous only when we keep the gambling on our mind and use all our money in gambling and all the time we play gambling, than definitely it is harmful for us and in this way, we lose our family.
I agree with your all points, and i believe if we have a ability to manage ourself than definitely gambling couldn't destroy us. I really respect your points, that our family members have great part in our life not gambling. You are absolutely right, gambling couldn't make a life, we play gambling because we want to earn money and secondly we find entertainment from it. Otherwise, our life is more expensive than gambling for our loved ones.
I guess the first priority will be the entertainment then second is the money, in that way, we will be safe because even if we lose we can still be happy and entertain. For some people, money is really important but since they do not have the skills to do it in gambling, they will only lose and might destroy the good relationship with the family.

Absolutely, it is very dangerous gambling addiction. Addicted to just about anything is dangerous, if addicted to cigarettes we will be our own physical harm, endanger our respiratory system and people around us. And dangerous gambling addiction on the mental and thoughts, gambling give suggestions to us that earn money by gambling is a fast way. Though not at all.

Hi everyone, want to share my story here, I was once a gambler that I can gamble big amount of money in one day, I have this thinking that maybe I can make a living off gambling and get rich. I won big before but I lost back on the other day too.
And once you lost, you will try to recover back your lost amount and from there, the snowball just keep rolling, and you find yourself in bad mood everyday as you will keep on depositing all your savings and always hoping to recover back your loss. I have seen too many people losing big amount of money in Bitcoin Gambling.
Think for your family, your parents, your loved ones, your wife or kids, they love you, do not let gambling ruin your life, many people are always thinking they will win big from gambling and get rich in one night.
It happens, but out of 10000 people, maybe just 1 person are that lucky to really win a huge amount of money for him to retire.
Human concept always look at the lucky guy and envy him and thinking they will be the next him, but out of 10000 people, 9999 people have lost big, so why do you want to hurt yourself and your loved ones.
I am not trying to change people mind here, I just hope I can help some people that are addicted to gambling.

I think this could be an article, it could practically save relationships. When people are addicted to something, they tend to get emotional on it and probably ruin your life with it. It's good to have people support you in things that you want, and you should be willing to listen when everything is at lost. Everyone experience that, every gambler should learn how to control. Human nature makes it hard.
To be honest, I don't think this is applicable to everyone. There are families that you would rather just ditch than to live with. You would might as well just burn your money than give it to them. Yes, you might love them but that doesn't mean that they love you back. There are also gamblers that don't have any responsibility at all. If they wasted all their money to gambling, they are the only person on Earth that will be affected by that decision. In this case, I'd say, quit gambling for good, think of yourself.
