Anxiously waiting on the sidelines for the fork to Cryptonight Heavy. Until then, I cannot support a coin that allows itself to be mined by ASICs. ASICs are the epitome of centralization. Don't let anyone tell you different. For a case study, look at any coin of significance that has embraced ASICs. It's estimated over 70% of Bitcoin miners are operating on Bitmain ASICs. A coin focused on privacy and anonymity should prioritize decentralization as one of its core features. This is why Monero rather quickly made the decision to hard fork as soon as it became known that ASICs were operating on their network.

I urge you to fork to CN heavy sooner rather than later. Until then, I'm afraid you will not have the support of many of us in the mining community.

Now ASIC miners are cheaper than a GPU mining rig (This is a fact).

Not only Bitmain is making cryptonight ASIC miners, but also by Halong Mining,Baikal etc.

There is a limit of certain miners per each user according to new Bitmain policy to promote decentralization

Setup of ASIC miners are very easy compared to GPU mining rig.

Monero is supporting big GPU manufacturing companies.

ASIC miners are back bone of cryptocurrency (Take top 10 coins)

After the ASIC resistant update , the value of coin gone drastically down . I already given the warning about this situation. For a bright future, the community must consider ASIC support. The developer can cosider a public voting.

Heavy investment on Qwertycoin will come with ASIC support (This is a fact. We have lot of examples)

ASIC support means more hashing power, means more stable network from attacks.

What value Qwerty coin going to attain in 10 years can be attained in 2 years with ASIC community support.

Don't think that ASIC miner for crypttonight Heavy is not possible . Its only a matter of time (This is a big fact)

Go for ASIC support

Adopting ASIC technologies will mean that every miner supporting the network will be affected and forced either to change a coin or invest in new equipment.Monero, performed a hard-core, system-wide software update, to exclude the possibility of using asics for mining on the network. But, in turn, the three groups of manners have disagreements, which led to the splitting of the network and the appearance of Monero Classic, Monero Original and Monero Zero. It should be noted that in each of these new networks, mining on the asics is supported. https://altstake.io/articles/revolyuciya-protiv-asikov-pochemu-voznikayut-raznoglasiya-sredimaynerov
why do not you do something like that and say for example QWC Classic. (QWC assic  Grin)
p.s. big prices now there is nowhere, the very time to buy. Wink

if you have a huge amount of hashrate than you should use a pool with low hashrate but if you have less hashrate then use a big pool

Maybe the hard fork wasn't such a great idea. Takes more effort and money to run. I guess just looking at thing like Newton coin that stayed cn original due to high supply is doing ok. And most miners liked the CN light I think heavy turned a few people off

Project has a good future, but if developers don`t try to enter the popular exchanges and listing on coinmarketcap, qwertycoin will remain little known.

I'm happy to announce that our pool is now paying a variable bonus between 1% and 15% of the current block reward (278,799 QWC) to all miners who submit a minimum 5% valid shares per block. Enjoy!

Once you opened Qwertycoin Wallet, you can create your first Qwertycoin address or open an already existing Qwertycoin
address and synchronize with the network.
It is highly recommended that you encrypt your new wallet with a password.
Leaving the wallet unprotected makes it vulnerable in case your system is compromised.
To encrypt your wallet, choose "Settings" menu and then "Encrypt wallet".

You can download a big Blockchain file for saving time during synchronizing process from here: https://blockchain.qwertycoin.org
Paste the downloaded, unzipped archive to:

It is possible to use wallet without blockchain, in remote mode it will be connected to the remote node.
This allows to get fully functional wallet in minutes. Just select remote node in settings and restart wallet if you're using GUI,
or run simplewallet with --daemon-address or --daemon-host & --daemon-port flags.
It's quite safe, the node can't steal your coins.

If you choose one of the following nodes you will be connected to a random node running by community members.
It's a smart idea to choose an server which are you located:

Asia: as.qwertyno.de
Africa: af.qwertyno.de
Antarctica: an.qwertyno.de
Australia: as.qwertyno.de
Europe: eu.qwertyno.de
North America: na.qwertyno.de
South Ameria: sa.qwertyno.de
with Port: 8197

How to solo mine with the CLI release
1. Download CLI Wallet and extract it
2. Run Qwertycoind
After you are synchronized run Qwertycoind again with these flags: --start-mining YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS --mining-threads 4
Or you can download the GUI and start Mining Solo, or in a Pool.

Cryptonote's Wallets can operate through remote daemon without downloading blockchain. It allows to start working quickly when needed.
It's quite safe as remote daemon can't steal your coins, running own node is more secure of course.
But these remote nodes are not rewarded anyhow in any CN coin. Qwertycoins remote nodes are rewarded for their 24/7 service.
When People use your server you collect 0.25% fom every Transaction from this People but a maximum of 10 QWC per transaction.
