i have 2 sapphire r9 280 x vapor, only 600 KH/s max.
 Sad

Try to play with the settings, what is your clocks?

1020

Most important for scrypt is memory overclock.
You have to find right core/mem clocks to achieve best results. What is your voltage? Can you change it?

Vapor-x r9 280x, easy 730-740 kH/s

Setup Sapphire trixx vdd voltage to: 1181 (GPU-z shows VDDC voltage: 1.115 V, going lower, system will become probably unstable).
cgminer (put temp. settings as you wish...): --shaders 2048 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-memclock 1485 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-powertune -20 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

try it, and report Wink

That's incorrect when it comes to both 7950 and 280x.
Sweet spot for 280x and high core clock for 7950, atleast for mine Smiley

These are basicly oced 7970 cards, so 740 is a must for them.

Not bad.  I got a gigabyte 280x and do about 740.

Funny, because back in November XFX was one of the underdogs people didn't want.

Nice performance.  Post your config please.
