Hey

I already had a nitro rom for 380 Smiley

Shared it with a few people privately. They're all very happy with it

Getting 23.5Mh out of it Smiley

Will share it later.

Got a rom for 370 cards as well. Wink

yum yum.... 370?

Can you send me download link for 370 and also 370 Nitro?

Memory 1750.. you do realize that 95% of the 380's aren't able to handle that clock for longer than 12hrs under full load?

+ asking people for money for copying some timings from one strap to another.. seriously...
Edit: i'm almost sure that didn't even happen..

Just because i hate these kind of posts, i'll do one as well and share it for free.
Hey @Eliovp, i decided to try it by myself and most of my 380x weren't stable with mem 1750 for longer than few hours, (some even crashed on instant). 1625 on the other hand is rock stable so far. 380x Nitro with Elipda mem.
Timings used for 1625 strap are:
Code:
7771332000000000315A6B3CA0550F1336191B06006AE40022AA1C087C041420CA8980A9020000C01712262B612B3715
or
Code:
77713320000000000839472A50550C0B242045040046C40022BB1C005C0B14204A8900A000000120120C211E51192613
i made a little mess in my roms folder, you will have to test by yourself which one is proper/better.

Good luck with your mod, i'm sure you can squeeze even more hashes

Will this modded Rom work on the Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 390 GPUs or is this only on the nano version. Would be good if it works on them too or perhaps can make a mod for them too.

It will only work on the R9 Nano versions. It has nothing to do with the R9 390. You can find R9 390 BIOS in other threads.

Anyone tried Crimson 16.7.2?

Usually my stock Nano can do 22.5MHs

but on 16.7.2 (the latest to fix the 480 power overdraw issues)

the Nanos are now giving me 23.5MHs stock!
Really?  Then I should upgrade to 16.7.2 Grin

After you upgreade to 16.7.2, can you confirm to us about the results?
@citronick, do you use the dual miner to mine other coins as well?

I use Claymore 4.7 and mine only ETH - no dual mining.

I will do a screen grab

Catalyst 15.12 give you 25-26MHASH on the stock clocked nanos.
I think we're talking about hashrate with Eliovp's Bios which downclocked to 800MHz core & 250MHz mem.
At that clock speed, despite upgraded to Crimson 16.7.2, I'm still getting 23.4MH/s hashrate.

Can you try run it at 900/260MHz? I can get 26.2MH/s per card. I am wondering if you can get 4% increase as well.

ROM undervolt the RAM, so they are more power efficient for mining ... I don't know if they can handle the 500Mhz anymore after the voltage reduction.

You need the high voltage RAM mod if you want to run 500 MHz. I only run ethereum, with 300 MHz.

I will overvolt with afterburner..
Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think the RAM will increase its voltage with clock increase through Afterburner.
Only the GPU clock does.

correct.. but if i push ram clock do 325 I must do +30/40mv on core to run stable. I don't know why

With modified bios I can "overclock" ram up to 325 (msi afterburner).. can I move to 500 without modifing bios?

I think the 500MHz is the default AMD R9 nano memory frequency. So you can move to there without problem.

yes..of course. But if you have Eliovp rom stock clock is 250 and when you install msi afterburner you can "overclock" untill 325..
