RX 7000? It doesn't matter anymore because mining is not profitable and those new graphic cards won't be cheap, even with free power your returns won't be encouraging.

the 6800xt is pretty good, but was costly.
I got lots of 5700xt under 400 before all the shit hit the fan.

I never had the chance to buy a 6800xt at a reasonable price, but I had a 5700 and 5700xt, awesome cards to mine, they gave me a good amount of ETH.
I bought before the peak for a good price, sold at the peak and had profits, my only regret is not buying 5 of each one  Grin

Talking about AMD right now, it`s a good opportunity to gain market, since Nvidia are screwing with everything, prices are insane of RTX 4xxx. If AMD delivers performance with good prices, they can earn some unsatisfied customers from Nvidia.

AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series GPU reveal is coming on November 3rd
Cheekily dropping the news two hours before Nvidia’s RTX 40 series showcase, AMD senior vice president Scott Herkelman has tweeted a date for the official reveal of the RDNA 3 graphics card generation: November 3rd 2022. That’s less than two weeks before we’ll see how AMD will combat the GeForce RTX 4090 and its brethren, most likely taking the form of the Radeon RX 7000 series of GPUs.

It is not that important as the timing is not right in this extreme bear market we are in from a mining perspective.

However from a long term point of view stocking some of this new generation cards and mining with them if they are really as good as the promising news are can be worth it as who knows what the next bull run brings. It is better to be prepared when it comes, and by being prepared I mean to have a lot of coins mined through difficult times and to sell for a huge profit in good shiny times.

if they stick with 256bit memory bus then I think results might not be very good ... 5700xt still rocks more in sense of being an ultimate mining card or something Smiley

just my thoughts Smiley

What happened to your RX5700XT? I have one and the fan never died on me, maybe you get them used or its just your luck, RX5700XT are bad ass but I guess time is leaving these GPU's behind, now even RX6600XT is better in efficiency-wise. Its good that AMD is catching up.

No new GPU will become miners favourite until its been tested for mining and hopeful the performance will be good, there are higher end gpus that are only good for gaming not mining.
