Hello. How POS mining RADS? Thanks

depending on the amount of rads you have in your wallet will determine your rads you mint. How many do you have?

I have 2800 RADS.

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if I did not upgrade my wallet in time?

Espers is a promising coin but it's interesting that they made it trade against RADS in this stage ...

Be cautious, Espers and Rads!?! At this point where all alts are on downtrend!?!

Like I said, I dont know WHAT an espers is, but for some reason novaexchange has decided to add that particular pairing.  Nobody from the Radium team has requested it, nor are we involved at all, its just a pairing that novaexchange has added.

Good question!

If you do not upgrade, you wallet will be on an incorrect fork, and any transactions you send, and coins that you stake will no longer be recognized as legitimate.  If you try and send coins from a 1.2 or 1.3 version wallet to a 1.4 wallet (which is all the exchanges, as they have updated)  the transaction will fail, or the coins may not show up.  Any transaction containing coins staked on 1.2 or 1.3 will fail, as the new coins wont be recognized as legitimate.

Super short answer, doom and gloom. Cheesy

Hi all!

It appears that NovaExchange has ninja added RADS.  We are now trading against both BTC and ESP (Espers).
Not 100% sure WHAT and espers is, but were trading against it none the less.

Also, over 40% of nodes are still using the old wallet.

Bought at 160k lost a fortune

You only lost if you sell them.....be patient, fundamentally the project is solid and just as good as Factom which is many multiples higher than 160k. Can I guarantee that it will get to those prices.......nope, but I am also holding cause I sense a turnaround soon and to sell now would be too much of a loss.

It could actually be a great time to add to your holdings if you have BTC. I always felt from trading there was a big holder pushing the price down and accumulating...I could be wrong but assuming I'm right they will want the price to rocket at some point.

Wtf is with the price,
same scam as vcash it seems to be.

Lol, your reputation clearly displays how much validity your comments merit... Best of luck in the alt world, if you cant follow fairly simple market trends and understand why the ENTIRE market is in the current down-turn.

That being said, if you have more direct questions about how the project is developing the devs are very vocal and willing to discuss concerns or even take suggestions. The clear FUD and scam slander is not needed sir.

Thanks.

In reading the responses and suggestions for a user trust/rating system I brought up in this post,
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14624198

it seems that the following are recurring themes and suggestions:

1) A +/- rating system, where one user rates another with trust (+) or distrust (-)
2) The impact of a rating is determined by various stats related to the rater's account
3) Users should be able to change/revert/update the ratings they gave another user.
4) we should avoid strict levels, and stick with numerical values
5) We need a way to prevent artificial inflation by fake/bot accounts
6) There may be need for highly trusted accounts, but it would be best to avoid this if possible

Please add to, suggest, elaborate, etc on any of the suggestions above. Ways to make AND break the system are constructive.

A few of my own thoughts.

Perhaps a two-part system, based on a user rating system, AND an ID verification system would be best. The ID verification system only indicates that a person is who they say they are, but does not establish trust. For example, ID verification can verify that the fictional account "J_Garza" actually belongs to the real Josh Garza, however it is highly unlikely that they will accumulate any trust. This will allow the community to increase the trust of an account, even if the person(s) providing the ID verification become unavailable.

It is also possible to do various levels of ID verification, level 1, level 2, etc corresponding to various form(s) of ID.  I am also interested in people's suggestions as to what the criteria for various levels would be.

I thought you just employed a professional PR guy?Huh

You are spot on with some things we have been discussing in the background, as far as preparing to begin a much stronger outreach initiative. Collin is working behind behind the scenes building promotional materials, and taking my nerdy documentation and editing it so that it is easier to understand. I want to make sure that we have good solid write-ups, tutorials, and other documentation ready to go before we start.

We actually had been discussing subsidizing other companies as part of the marketing package, but are still working on some of the boring particulars as far as defining exactly how to do it.  I don't particularly like paid products, given that a user already has to buy some Radium to use the system, but paid access to specialized customization and/or support seems like a good idea to me.

Do I save my .dat file then delete the old wallet then download the new wallet?

Yes, save the .dat on your backyard.

Then you must delete everything.

After this, downloand the new wallet, go to the backyard, dig grab and replace the downloaded .dat  for the backyard .dat Grin
