12345678googr7AWKah5kpLnx2h8zDS6NK      (11-char vanity address??)
7 char vanity address. The "goog" is almost certainly just a coincidence. I can see someone wanting an address starting with 12345678, but why would they go for 12345678goog? There's no way it was deliberate.

Does Mike Hearn know about this address?

Awesome - List updated. Good luck finding the first all-lowercase address ever Smiley

haha thanks, bet I'm not the only one. I wish the GPU version of vanitygen allowed for regex... would be much faster!

Tada. I'd really like to find that all lowercase one. The all upper is easier and already found. I'm so friggen close!

1odfsrirfbxtwjoviseqdnuixwvhsnPbJ

29 lower case letters in a row. Only two uppers and the prefix of 1.

Really impressive!
Again, please sign something with it so I can add it to the collection - otherwise it doesn't
make it any different than something like 1BitcoinEaterAddressDontSendf59kuE (which is a
valid address but wasn't "generated" - nobody has the private key for it, see top post)

I'll sign it eventually, already planned on it. Just have to muster up the effort to put the private key in a hot wallet and sign it. Guess I don't even have to do that, could just import it into a virtual machine, sign and destroy the box. Still a lot to muster.

17 numbers in the prefix. Should be in the block chain shortly. Unseats the 15 easily. Had to change the regex search I found 17 numbers together in the middle of the address on another one... oops.

19518695556189xmnSwcFkrP8bjscp714K      (longest digit-only prefix found to date - I do own this one!)

Negative, this is the longest digit only prefix now

195579733194698xrh7CqDNfzewa4Y4FHK

Interesting that it starts with the same first 3 numbers and ends with the same case letter.

Wow! Can you make an outgoing tx, or sign a message using that address, to show that you do own it?

Did you find it through vanitygen too?

Meh... I can but I'm not going to.

http://blockchain.info/address/195579733194698xrh7CqDNfzewa4Y4FHK

Look at when it was entered into the blockchain and when I posted. I posted before it was even confirmed because I sent the first transaction to it. I did use vanitygen, and haven't imported the key yet. I'll import it later and sign it something for you.

The longest to date generated by ThePiachu's Vanity Pool & thread btw is 9 chars after the initial 1 for 1ELiZABETHdzGTuQeg2RnCcWBMVo3ySfTz that I'd requested as a gift for someone.
But not the "most difficult" - it is twice as difficult as a normal 9-letter because the "i" can only be lower case. A nine-letter with two "i"s and an "o" - 4x more difficult than that...

Proof of 10: http://blockchain.info/address/1EXEcutaBLEbJEV8BYX4CPbzvb5131zXnQ; not very weird though.

I think "1Fake" wins for completely random happenstance with unintended outcome.

Mine is long, didnt know it was impressive til now though Smiley

1JASiNZxmAN1WBS4dmGEDoPpzN3GV7dnjX

^ I have the private key, got it from vanitygen Smiley

However if you were searching for "jasin", the rest is just something that randomly looks like something, like mine in my sig could be "1bitcoinmeet"...

You can create any arbitrary address by just putting the right checksum on the end. You will of course not know the private key so anything sent there is unlikely to ever be retrieved.

Indeed. I've actually edited my post to say I will only consider addresses that have a real owner (ie, a known private key)

(I actually found that one myself!)
