I think that the 'drama' as you call it, will have no effect. I don't see why people are so tense about it. They are releasing a fork and everyone will get their DAO back. Any problems after that? I dont think so.

For NEM for example it sais "XEM NEM (59 votes) currently #11", so it is on the 11th position.

What do you mean exactly? When you have voted it will tell you whether it was successful or not. Everyone can only vote once.

Well, while the code for an exchange is not trivial it is still not comparable to MySQL's code which amounts to several millions of lines.
And of course I went through it line by line. When you want to extend it, you have to understand it.
