yup... all sorts of issues right now, people ddos'ing it, *EVERYONE* basically doing a bank run on it trying to withdraw... i had like a tiny tiny bit of bitcoin in there i tried to change over to litecoin to cash out and when i tried it turned my account negative.... it was only a few dollars worth so i was just like fuck it... i never keep very much on exchanges for these exact reasons... and shit like this https://www.allcrypt.com/blog/2014/03/the-hack-the-resolution/

Yeah, that's not good.  What's needed is more security, but how much can you use before it becomes a pain in the ass?

very good

those who have coins on cryptorush, it's probably a good idea to withdraw them as soon as possible, cause as I've understood, site will be going down.currently it's working so-so, and it has only one member from the team left to be in charge and run the show while others walked away.

yes.. if any of you have *ANY* coins on cryptorush, i would highly recommend you get them off of there asap
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/03/26/cryptorush-support-worker-leaks-inside-info/
tho by the looks of it they have no btc insolvency so you might want to convert them to another coin first

edit: (i have personally moved any coins i had on there off)

If I can.  Right now it's working for shit.

what is the max FCK that you are able to send from RUSH to your wallet at a time?  50 mil?  Seems I could only ever send about 9-11 million with my wallet to RUSH.  trying to get a large balance from them atm

I wonder if that's a parameter of the bitcoin protocol.  I was able to move 50m FCKs per transaction several imes, then 10m max, now it's down below 5m I believe and transaction fees are rising.  Another coin is behaving the same (numbers are different because of scale but the idea is the same, lower and lower maximum amounts and transaction amounts that can be performed without fees)
I think it has something to do with how those amounts are put together, every transaction stays in the blockchain so if you send an x-amount it might be bits and pieces of hundreds of smaller transactions that make up the total amount, not sure if I'm right but that's just my observation  Grin

you are quite right. its coin age, and tx size.

that being said, you can select your outputs when you send coins, using the coin control feature in the options -> display
tho, paying fees is not something people should be against, its not like its very much, and those fees go to miners, which once all of the halvings are done, that is the only thing that will keep the network going.

as far as from cryptorush? i believe they have a limit of 50million per transaction, tho who knows what they are doing now

this will kind of explain transaction fees to most people http://bitcoinfees.com/

In general I would like to urge anyone that is not directly selling or trading coins NEVER to leave them on any exchange or online wallet, allways store them locally on your own system and create a regular backup of your wallet.dat, and before I forget, create a backup of your wallet.dat, and if you have time left, create a backup of your wallet.dat  Grin

honestly if you are planning on just 'storing' coins for a long period of time the best bet is to just make a paper (offline) wallet.
also ALWAYS remember that when you get coins you should always make a new receiving address
one more thing.. when you are doing backups of your wallet.dat... make sure you make a new backup of it every so often (because as you add more addresses in your wallet (after 100 i believe) the wallet will need to be backed up again)

I hope cryptorush doesn't scam with my 40 million fcks, looks like the exchange is on its way out..already my blackcoins got stolen there as they say that the majority of blackcoins got withdrawn due to a so called bug and now they claim they are being dossed.. Cry

not really just their fault... its part their fault part blackcoins fault

and they arent just 'claiming' to be ddos'd they are being ddos'd, likely because some pissed off skript kiddiez lost a shit ton of blackcoins

my main issues with cryptorush is their rounding errors, their ordering issues, and the fact that i have an account that somehow shows negative balance Tongue, you know there is a problem when you are #2 or #3 in the order queue but your order is being filled before the #1
