Well, we have now moved from, "the compensation will be reviewed once mass shipment has started" to, "compensation will be reviewed once we have shipped all orders."
This is very troubling and is not OK. This needs to be determined NOW. The engineers have finished their part and can decide on compensation while the assembly teams take over from here. This keeps getting pushed back and should not be ignored, and do not tell me that it isn't being ignored. If it wasn't being ignored, it would get reviewed and finalized once mass shipment has begun, which it now has!
If anyone thinks that after they accept their orders that BA will send them anything else, they are delusional. And let's just assume for a second that they do send out extra units, we have no timeline as to when they will send them out, they could say that once more chips get in, we will send out the compensation units, which could take weeks and the comp units will be just as worth less as the originals!
Also, the damn surprise, which was supposed to be released once mass shipment has begun still needs to be released.
Get this shit together.
EDIT: Does this mean that the extra 50% units aren't going to be enroute until the entire compensation package is decided upon? Where does that leave people who have already purchased PSU units?

This is like a weekly sit-com that drags you along to next weeks show via some awe inspiring cliffhanger without actually ever delivering. e.g. Cobra Commander gets away in every fucking episode of G.I. Joe. Doesn't that just piss you off just as much as never getting to see one of the Commander's plans come to fruition? This fucking cartoon never delivered!

YEP! I have had a few more talks with my lawyers, and everything is prep'd just in case I am denied, so I am assuming that won't be a problem and I will have my bitcoin nice and ready for some awesome S3's!

They are mining with hardware it's plain to see we have paid them they have screwed us and we'll most likely get them when they are almost burnt out and of no value but we will still have to pay import fees on useless equipment and that’s the advantage we have been rewarded for pre ordering.
I suspect they may have taken delivery of the Minion back in 2013.
According to the last update from blackarrow the X3 backplane should be in hand and mass production underway. I don't believe it!
I wonder what excuse BA will give tomorrow for missing the upcomming June 23rd shipping date?
My guess is they'll claim that a shipment of LCDs has just arrived and they'll have to delay for another week to produce a full spec miner. I'm sure they'll be creative in any case...

The simplest answer is usually the correct one. I don't believe for one second that BA isn't mining while they "test" the units. They've had working hash boards for a few weeks now and seem to have breakthroughs at convenient times that delay shipments so they can apply said breakthrough.
You've missed the point entirely.
Mining with versus selling,.. Yes selling is more money faster.
However,..
Selling, THEN mining with that HW until the last possible second and THEN shipping same (now useless hardware) = best of both worlds. I get my profits AND your profits and the "risk of repercussion" is minimal.
Most likely the lcd's were ready last minute so had them held till next Monday to have them in so they are complete and also the free laptops for all customers were ready also and the gold bar and the unicorn and the sweets and a cuddly toy and and a new calendar of the girls of ba only problem all days are called next week 
Ok that calendar might make up for a little bit,... Just saying, something to consider.
It cracks me up that people even *hope* that they're going to be ready.
When they start asking people who opted into the 5 day burn in hosting for a wallet address (as of yet no one has been asked) THEN they might be within a couple of months of shipping,... until then nothing.

I know I know some exceptions with the S2, but the S3 it pretty much the S1 on steroids and I'd say there was 1% failure rate or less with those little tanks.

That is what I have determined I will be doing. That will allow me to hear whatever they have to say tomorrow (as we will more than likely not hear anything today), and after that, based on my calculations by what I can reasonably assume BA can and will offer as compensation, it is not worth it anymore.

This means that, if shipped today, X3s should get a little under 2x compensation (you can currently buy 4TH for 6,400, so that is 2 extra 1TH units per order, minus power supplies)
Some people paid (in advance) as far back as September 2013 in exchange for an edge on in-hand currently shipping product. If BA had shipped on February 24th the edge would have been worth the wait vs. the Ant S1. Compensation has to be network difficulty based to square this.
