Eleuthria is a great asset to this board, but he runs a pool and some may have concerns about his impartiality - even if that opinion is has no basis in fact. It would be better if a long term, well-known miner was to take over.
I suspect the recent votes of confidence in Eleuthria have to do with him planning to leave the pool operator business at the end of this month, and suggesting he take over this role after that, assuming he is no longer affiliated with the pool.

... and I wasn't even aware of that fact, one more reason for me to leave this to someone else.

My vote would be for Con or another mining board mod, but this should be a community decision.
Thanks but I certainly shouldn't do it. Since I'm involved in 3 pools myself I cannot be impartial enough to maintain such a list.

Good point.

Anyone have other suggestions?

I've had not much time for this lately. I think someone a bit more active should take this over, or start a new sticky (and lock and retire this one).

Any takers? My vote would be for Con or another mining board mod, but this should be a community decision.

This is a thread about mining pools.

Advertisements and non-mining pool info should be posted somewhere else.

Fixed. Just click that report to moderator button next time if I don't spot it.

@ nicehash - your update doesn't mention if you're a proxy pool or not. Check out the top of the first for a guide on how to format your data and what data needs to be included.

Corrected.

Wondering if there's a reason to not include block witholding effect in the 2nd post?
(Since you include Hoppability)

i.e. it's effect on 3 things: 1) The Miners 2) The Pool Operator 3) The Block Withholder

It's Meni Rosenfeld's work. If he updates, then I'll update the post. I copy pasted it because I didn't think anyone would click on a link.

Done. Check the listing, make sure it's ok. Also, let me know what should go under the "   Variable difficulty?" column ("User defined" or otherwise).
