When we were young, we consider almost everyone we know as friends. Before, we would want to accumulate alot of peers and believe that all of them will stay true to you. We even go as far as changing ourselves to be able to fit in. As we grow older we meet more people and we actually drop even more friends from our circle. As we go on we drop even more to the point that we have a very small circle of friends that are true and reliable.
One experienced man told me one thing thought:

Real friends will insult you, bully you and laugh at you but will never leave you in good times and in bad and is always ready to fight for you in times of trouble.

There is too much these days about people have friends as snakes disguise. Well let us take a moment appreciate the real friends. I bet people still have real friends, the ones who truly stand by them no matter what happens. We waste too much time complaining about the bad people we have in our life. Why not appreciate the ones who have been in our life as a blessing. I've been blessed with a whole bunch of real friends who support me no matter what. Are you also among the blessed ones?
In the present day, people are trustworthy. Most of the people are plastic. They will love you for reasons, reasons they want to get through you or your help.
