If you have the habit of playing and gambling on different sports and game, I think it is not good because of some few reasons like;
YOU WILL SPEND MORE MONEY ON GAMBLING.
YOU CAN BECOME MORE EASILY ADDICTED THAN A GAMBLER WHO PLAYS ONLY ONE GAME.
YOUR CHANCES OF LOOSING WILL INCREASE, BUT YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING MAY NOT INCREASE.
YOU WILL SPEND MORE TIME GAMBLING.
Which other reason?
I think even one game that's very appealing to an individual may pose a threat to gambling addiction if not controlled. It's not because you're into lot of games that's already addiction, I even know people that only knows 1-2 gambling and yet they are addicted to it. There are lot of reasons why people goes to gambling but I think number one reason is to profit from it which is ideally wrong considering its risk involve is high.
It's always that one game for every gambler out there where you can easily get hook on and addicted. I personally played multiple casino games and even sports betting but I never get addicted to most of it except one which is Dice. It's not about the number of games you play on but rather on how one can control oneself on their bets. Naturally, chasing profits is one of the recipe for gambling addiction but with the right discipline you can aim for profits but not be greedy to it.

To be on the safe part of gambling is to play one game and wait for the outcome of the game. Playing different games at a time is nothing but greed.
Is there even gambler out there who does this? Gambling at different games at the same time, like where's the fun to that?

That is why there is the best advice that we all know: "Only bet what you can afford" in gambling. If you can afford to bet 1,000 USD, that is the amount you can afford. But if you can only bet 1-10 USD. That's the amount you can afford. Each person must have a betting amount that he can afford, and it will be different from other people, so we don't need to make the same betting amount as other people. We have to adjust the amount of bets to the budget we have prepared to reduce the number of losses. Reducing the number of losses is very important because it is our money, and we do not have to spend it in gambling. We must always control the expenses we make in gambling. And in gambling, you have the opportunity to bet 1 USD, but it turns out you can win more than 20 USD, and that will only happen if your luck comes. But we can't expect luck to always come.

And gambling addicts place higher bets because they hope to win a lot of money, but that won't always happen every day. So they must be able to reduce their gambling addiction so they don't lose much money.

Of course, everyone should gamble as much as they can within their own budget. You should definitely not bet this amount using the excuse that someone else is betting high amounts. The reason why I specified the amount here and gave examples was that a person should gamble depending on their budget but this budget amount should not be consumed in one go, no matter what. So, if you have a budget of 1,000 USD for gambling you can spend 100 USD for each bet, this will not affect you much. However, if I have a budget of 100 USD, spending 100 USD at a time on bets will cause my entire budget to be zero in case of a possible loss. I hope that my example was more descriptive this time.

In addition, you example entails short term fun. Wagering all the budget at once, ends gambling for the day or week. But, if the person follows the step you mentioned he'll enjoy more time gambling and increase his chances of winning. A quality of frugal gambling. The mistake people make in gambling, is being sure of what would be the outcome of a game. When a player forgets he's gambling, he'll get sure of the game and wager huge amount of money. With his believe that he'll win, then the game turns negative in his eyes and fails. All the money goes. Greed is high and affects gamblers. We all think of the jackpot. That's why some players risk it all in, and go home sad. At last, players want to win big then stop gambling. Yet gambling changes the way we see it, the moment we engage into it. The advise we see here, like yours, it's valid, but doesn't change anything in gambling, for some. Because when they're on the machine, their thoughts don't remember all these frugal encouragements. It's like trusting your fighting technique in a fight. When the fight starts, those techniques disappear from the brain, we face it the way it is.  Losing a lot in gambling can be frustrating. Nobody wants to be a loser. Hence most gamblers must keep gambling, even more than they can afford. Players take loan to play games. Do you think they don't see the slogan "gamble what you can afford" That I must win syndrome will overshadow whatever advise, technique or strategy they've got and lead them to gamble irresponsibly.

However, bouncing backward to Op's idea, it's a thing of choice. And every choice has its benefit and disadvantages. Although, to some extent playing a single game often times to master it can posses a minimal risk. Professional slot players cannot join a board game like Poker. They know its not what makes them happy. The losses could be detrimental, as they don't understand the game. So, if a person focuses in one kind of game for a long time, sooner or later they'll understand few things about the game. Depending on the person's sensitivity.  And such practice can help the player to manage money. But, if a person can play more than 2 games very well, it's not bad. Or if a player wants to learn another kind of game, they can begin to try them out. So, there are different reasons to why gamblers wager on unique games. Maybe to enhance their horizon. The goal is to win. If a game doesn't favor a player, they can switch lane to another game.  While trying both games, one can become better than the other. I've seen experts in Poker interested in slot games, and they do exceptionally great.

I think playing different gambling games in a roll is not a good one, this pattern of game can be Said to be called gambling addiction. Gambling is very risky and playing different kind of games in a roll, the chances of losing is very high. Normally the best way to play gamble is playing with the amount one can afford to lose, but when playing different game I think this has gone pass the amount that is supposed to be used to play bet.

When you buy bets on different sports, you need to know the analysis of many matches and the characteristics of many sports by not focusing on one sport.
I agree with your point. You won't really be able to focus on one spot to properly do your analysis, your attention will be divided, which might increase your chances of losing  during gambling. But if you pick a few sports, then you will be able to focus. Gambling also requires analysis and attention, if your analysis is not properly done, it might lead to you losing your bet.

For example, you can allocate 5x to football, 2x to basketball and x amount of money to other sports. Of course, this will vary depending on which one you are your favorite and which one you follow more.
I don't think that will be easy, I can't monitor the amount I have spent on different sports. The only thing I will do is just have a specific amount that I will be spending on gambling, maybe monthly or weekly, and if the money has run out, I will stop gambling. I can gamble with $100 weekly, I don't care about the sport on which I spend a higher percentage of money, but immediately I finish the $100 and am done gambling for that week.

I agree with many of your arguments. I think the biggest problem is wasting time, because when I make a bet, I do detailed analysis and spend a lot of time. If I am interested in more than one sport, I have to spend time on each one separately and that is a big problem for me. I am interested in football and I only bet on football matches, so for now I don't have any problems.
Gambling on too many things at the same time is one of the shortest ways to become a gambling addict because of the fact that the gambler will likely to lose more of his money as he wouldn't concentrate on one particular bet. And becoming a gambling addict is one of the worst things that can happen to an individual because it's very likely that that person is gonna lose all his money and valuables on gambling. So to be able to win in gambling one needs to be focused and strategic and that's why gambling better when one is gambling on one thing is better than gambling in too many things at once

Gambling addiction does not depend on how many games you played or how high you have lost from gambling, but gambling addiction happens when a gambler decides to be carried away with the urge of gambling, losing all his control and self-discipline that one should retained so that he won’t end up with wrong decisions in gambling. When he starts winning big, the urge to bet high increases and expect huge returns as well, but we all know gambling house won’t allow it to happen as the edge to win is for them and the high chances to lose is for gamblers.

Yeah, those are some common reason why someone shouldn't gamble. You don't become addicted because you gamble on too many things at once. You probably gamble on too many things at once because you are already addicted. Besides those, I guess eventually you start losing focus and start placing bad bets when you try to wager on too many things. You end up risking more than you can afford to lose.
Just letting you know, since you mentioned that the winning chance goes down while the losing chance goes up, it is not true. Your chances of winning or losing is still the same. But yeah, in the long run, the house always win due to the edge.

Especially individuals addicted to gambling generally aim to place higher bets with their entire budget and gain high profits at once but unfortunately this causes high risk and high tension.
Higher bets if you just want to feel the adrenaline or want to win big quickly in my opinion are not the right steps, for example in soccer betting we can divide the bets into several matches and then divide a certain amount of money for each bet there of course the chance of winning can be realized more while betting on In one match there is definitely a risk when we are not really lucky.

Even though we can predict sports betting, it still all comes back to luck because without it it would feel useless and most addicts usually place high bets to achieve big wins and return the money lost due to previous losses, but believe me, this all has quite a high risk too. . It's best to avoid betting like that even if you have a lot of money, bet wisely and bet with money that you are ready to lose.
No matter how we remind people to bet wisely and never gamble on the money they can’t afford to lose, gambling addicts will never realized that because their urges to bet is high and their greed is incomparable. So it’s always a challenge for them to bet wisely as these type of people have only focused on how to win big and on how to regain all their previous losses. However, even with newbies in the industry, as long as they have sufficient money to bet, they will surely bet all in and expect luck in the process, which I think do not happen easily to all gamblers.

I agree with all of your reasoning except for the statement that "your chance of winning may not increase." Logically, this argument is not correct. The fact is that the more you bet, the more chance you may have to win, but that is directly proportional to the chance that you will lose, plus the house edge.

Personally, I find it exciting to play and bet on multiple games as it adds more thrill to the session. In the end, it depends on the preference of the player, but it is advisable, as always, to gamble responsibly.

I feel everyone does what suits them, after all, it's their cash yeah? Some may bet on just one game and it doesn't work while others choose several options. The more the merrier. Personally, I prefer to stake on different games than on just one selection but put in a small amount. Most of the time, it works more than when I play on a single game.
But there are some who don't know yet what's good for them so they gather suggestions and try them. For me, I feel more contented on one game. I can deposit more here and expect a better outcome than if I divide my funds on the other which can lessen my chances of winning. Maybe in some other things, it's true that the more the merrier but I don't think we can apply that saying in gambling.

Another thing you should know is gambling can become an addiction only if the player let's it. Maybe the reasons Op outlined is what he has observed affects him but then making many selections can be exhausting to keep track of though.
Let's it? Hmm I don't know what is it but what I know is that one can become an addict if he will do a thing more often that it seems not normal anymore. Anyway I thought you said many is better? It seems you change your mind now eh? Hehe.

That's true. The money you can afford will depend on the amount you will use. For this reason, each gambler will not have the same amount to bet, so there will be a different budget. Whatever it is, if someone dares to spend his money all at once, as you say, it means he can accept whatever the result is, regardless of whether he wins or loses. But each person will think about how much they can afford to gamble, so they will also consider the risks before placing a bet.

I do not agree with all that you have said because you have generalized.
I can paly or gamble on different sports and game and be totally fine. I will create a budget to solve the problem of spending more money. I will alternate between sports betting this week and playing poker or Roulette the upper week. I know that I can loose but what the hell if I gamble with money that I already can afford to lose and if I do that under a strict budget. I spend just 1hour to 2 hours playing per week. I do not see how this is too much time. The bottom line is to exercise strict discipline.

If you are bored and you have no place to go because you want to remain at home, you may decide to spend some cents on gambling just like you are spending some cents on beers.

You can decide to go to land based casino to have some fun.

The advice has been repeated countless number of time, that gamblers should have gambling budget and they should not spend beyond the budget. My gambling budget is 5% weekly if I gamble and lose in that week.
Well, yeah same. I remembered I gambled in lottery some years ago every single day until I quit on betting. I was addicted to it and it is the only gambling I have tried. I spent $2.45 a week for like a year but unfortunately, I did not get the jackpot that is why I quit. 😅

When a gambler loses by repeatedly betting on a game, if he temporarily changes his game, his bets may return to a winning streak, although this is not guaranteed. We often hear that gambling should take regular breaks. The reason for this is that one does not tend to get bored in any way. I don't get addicted to any particular game when I gamble on different bets. This is true that the more time you spend in gambling, the more likely you are to become addicted. Spending more money and more time on gambling increases the chances of losing. A gambler must set a limit on everything else his chances of losing will increase and he will get addicted.

YOU WILL SPEND MORE MONEY ON GAMBLING.

It depends on how you manage your gambling budget. Even if you play in one casino or even 1 game only, but you cant manage your budget wisely, you will spend more money than what you should spend.

YOU CAN BECOME MORE EASILY ADDICTED THAN A GAMBLER WHO PLAYS ONLY ONE GAME.

Where or how did you get this conclusion? Is it based on your experience or your assumption only. Addiction is all about how you control yourself, no matter how many games you play, how many times you spend, as long as you are still under your own control, everything will be fine.

YOUR CHANCES OF LOOSING WILL INCREASE, BUT YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING MAY NOT INCREASE.

This is just another baseless assumption. How if someone has great knowledge and experience in some various type of sports? Should he limit himself to gamble at one sports only while he believe that there are other chances in other sports?

And once again it is about the bettor if it is gambling responsibly or not. Focusing on a single sport or game is more favorable for someone who has limited time. But if someone is a hardcore follower of multiple sports, teams, and athletes then there is nothing wrong with betting at the same time. I have a friend who loves to bet like 2 to 5 NBA games daily and so far he is doing well with his strategy. But of course, it remains within its reasonable budget. If someone wants to bet more games at the same time then the budget should be divided accordingly to avoid overspending.

sometimes is good to try something new but not at the expense of risking crossing the limit and one the sports people focus more on when it comes to gambling is football that is what I noticed in my own region you hardly see them watching any other sport its just of recent I see  people diversifying into other sports since season end and they get bored so in one way or the other they need to start giving other sport a chance just to kill boredom. and you never can tell you might get lucky while playing other sports, but even before you start playing on other sports you need to understand how they play. as long has it has advantage it has disadvantage. as long has people are loosing money people are also making money the same time.
Football is everywhere! But there are many sports, each with its own appeal and excitement. Imagine missing the pleasure of a last-second basketball shot or the suspense of a tennis tie-breaker.

All fun and games until you cross that invisible line. As with everything, moderation is vital. Try new sports and learn about them. You may discover your next passion! Just remember to study the game before betting. Someone is continually losing money, but someone else is making it. So why not win?

What if you master these other sports and cant choose one? Too many options can be overwhelming! Something to consider.

I have enjoyed following and watching a lot of sports over the years but it is overwhelming especially when we're busy so we just have to set our priorities and then only choose the best games. The same with betting, we cannot bet on all the games we want to all the time. I have limited time so I just prioritized boxing, UFC (mixed martial arts), Dota 2 (e-sports), and NBA (basketball) most of the time since there are also events from other sports that are also too enticing. And even with these few selected sports and leagues, there are many times when I miss watching its games. And it is hard to analyze when haven't watched the previous games so it is better to just focus on betting on those that we are too confident.

Disagree here. What if that gambler does have a good knowledge of different sports? Why not take advantage of it?

Just because these bettors do have a habit of placing a bet in different sports, it doesn't mean they are placing several bets at the same time.

As usual, they will just pick a bet that is worth placing, and those bets that are a product of their own analyzation.

I highly agree, as long as the gambler allocate funds and use that same funds and never exceeds his allocated funds, I do not think there is a problem on betting in multiple instances at once.  This is even a time saving action since his gambling activity can be done in a much shorter time and he can then do other things with those saved times.

At the end of the day it is all about bankroll management and gambling moderation that is important to avoid being addicted to gambling.
