For the first time I decided to try how PGP encryption works. At the same time I decided to read what others wrote in their messages. Ha ha! Sending involves specifying a personal addressee, who only can read the message addressed to him. This is right. When I indicated myself among the recipients in my message, I was also able to decipher the message easily.

Hey, do you have any guide or thread about, how to encrypt message using PGP? I have heard of it many times but never used it.

I did use SSH or SHA-256 or RSA (confused) something like that in the past for my github authentication. But I keep loosing the public key, private key, due to using it on phone, through termux terminal.

My local community does not know anything about PGP at all, I guess, except for some members like LM. Last night, I posted and asked them if they wanted to know anything about PGP in our native language, and I got a positive response so far. Even though I learned it a few hours ago, I plan to write details from what I have gained so far. The concept is very interesting. I plan to do some stupid experiment using PGP Encrypted messages to check the community's reaction to it. Grin

I recommend you try out Kleopatra. It's for PGP newbies, and comes with a pretty neat GUI. It's the same software used in this Electrum verification tutorial. If you're already in Linux, just hit the following:

I don't think anyone is denying the merit reward then why is not many people joining. Is it too hard to learn the skill for bitcointalk members? You need a good understanding of encryption and you need to use it regularly to protect your privacy. It's not something just about fun but it's necessary too.

I think so too. It's like solving a puzzle or solving a mystery. Well, now that I know it's working and got it correctly means the PGP public key is okay and there's nothing wrong with it but I am curious as to why you changed it when the previous public key is fine. Maybe it's because it is not working for others?. Anyways, it's not up to me so I am only asking why and also for my curiosity.
