If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold. I wake up every morning feeling depressed.

I am depressed right now,but it`s not about btc.I`m depressed about a girl.

I really regret that i haven`t found and started using bitcoin earlier.

Your reason about your depression is a little bit stupid. There are more important things in life.

I think people would be depressed will be early minners and adopters who purchased at a low price as compare to today and sold it very early rather than holding some btc. Thier worth today would have being way too much if few btc would have being still with them today rather than purchasing at high price later.

There is no need to depress your self any more, as far as iknow even you will back to the time that bitcoin is cheap you will do the same thing you will ignore bitcoin, you feel regret right now because you'll already see the potential of it right now so if you will back to the time many people saying bitcoin is scam and don't believe you will ignore it also, life's go on you need to  move on friend and move forward.

Yeah I agree with you, for the people who are now successful with bitcoin because once they take risks when investing in bitcoin obviously a lot of people who say bitcoin scam. So I think regret is not required at this time, because you said true life must go on.

Life keeps on going my friend. It's not going to wait for you. It's easier to buck up and move forward than to dwell on the past, as easy as it might be.
That is excellent advice for OP, who was probably just trolling anyway.   Bitcointalk is no place to be whining about your depression,  ptsd, cocaine habit, or anything else.  This isn't a fucking AA meeting.

actually regret and depression will not change anything unless you learn from your false, make it a good motivation to start another business or investment like bitcoin, then you will not regret anymore.

I know it's not as easy as speak, but if you keep regreting and depressed, you will not got nothing.

yeah it is way better to not live with the past because it sometimes might become really depressing and it is better to just move on try use your time for better things i think
Easier said then done. What if you walked a mile in their shoes? Then you would be singing a different tune.
I think that people now are just to quick to offer advice too mental illness that they have no training or experienced to give anything in rebuttal for.

I don't think anybody here has mental illness that you are talking about it. besides I think it is safe to say at least 90% of those who lose money with their investment (in anything not only bitcoin) are losing it because of their own laziness because they were too lazy to check if the investment is legit, or too lazy to assess the risks so they could make a better decision. we see every year a couple of huge cloudmining sites which gull the gullible investors and take their money and run away, do you think all of those people are mentally ill?
No, the way you put it they are just uneducated when it comes to being smart with how they invest with their bitcoins. Thats all. Did not want to offend anyone with such illness here.

It will be worse in the future that after knowing about Bitcoin for a long time, you don't own any. So it's better that you start buying as much as possible and own at least 21 BTC for long term storage so you dont have to commit suicide in the future due regret.

Like they say in my country, there is no use of crying over the spilt milk. So,head up, chear up and look for new chances and opportunities. When you expect the least, something greatw will pop up.
well yeah that would be cool though not always the good things start happening after the bad ones unfortunately so it might not be a solution

In years, this will be just a memory of yours. Everyone had done things they now regret, even me. It's always hard after these moments, we just have to try to get over it. I'm sure you've got ideas, you've got plans but you still haven't got the time to achieve your dreams. Take your time, do something that gets you revenue. It's not going to take much until you'll recover and forget about your mistakes. Stay safe, buddy.

You are right my friend. There are no real solutions that we can offer to a problematic person. Since he is preoccupied with his losses and failures, anxiety and depression has overpowered him.

The only thing that can help him is time. Later he will just forget all of that. I have lost all my savings in a scam. I have moved on after the passing years. And believe me I became a better investor in bitcoin due to that experience.

Nobody can predict the future, investing in gold was and is not a bad choice, gold has been proven more stable than bitcoin, you still has a chance to find another opportunities to make your way into wealthy person and i hope the op hasnt given up bitcoin and already get rid the depression and start a new life
This though. I had to admit that I knew of bitcoin a long while back but I didn't bother to even keep it.
I've had I don't know, probably a few hundred of 'em but I never really knew the purpose of bitcoin except for the fact that it was a virtual gold with very little value back then and I thought that it wouldn't be worth my time so I decided to quit on it but then this happens. I barely have 1 whole coin.
