who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

Heard of it these years, but was without real money to invest in.

Exactly. I heard about it back in 2013 when it started seeing mainstream and merchant adoption. But I was just out of college, working a shitty job that could barely pay my rent. I've still never had much money to put in, but I've been buying and holding for a while. I also got lucky on a few altcoin holds, where I invested minimally but made > 1000x gains. Alts are definitely a way to make more bitcoins, but you have to be careful to do research and not get stuck holding bags of potentially useless coins.

First time when i camme to know about the bitcoin was the year 2011 but at tuat time i got the term bitcoin in the Google because i was looking to make free money from online internet .
But here a really bad thing that i faced was the economical problem , at that time nothing was in my pocket to invest but usually i go to tye cafe and stsrted mining and making some money .
But unfortunately i sold them with low price , so i think it is a really big mistake that i made in the history .
Here still i am thinking nothing gone bad because in the future the price will get rise more and more and i will become millionaire surely .

Dude you would be a multimillionaire by now. I wish I'd heard about it then.

i think if i am heard like it before i am the luckiest person because the price of bitcoin is more cheaper than dollar so if i have 10 bitcoin now i was so lucky even i not go to work i have money.

Well you do not have to cry about it anymore. You now have another opportunity to buy at very low prices with the new Bitcoin called Bcash! The price is slightly below $200 now but it will soon reach the 2009/2010 price levels soon.

But on a more serious note. Does anyone here think BitcoinCash will survive? I have not dumped mine yet.
I have a feeling that someday, someone is going to post the same thing about Bitcoin Cash, This is going to be the same way like it started with Bitcoins in 2009, I really think we should be open minded and try to mine some BCH so that when the time comes and it price soars just like Bitcoin, we will get some profits. I suggest you dont dump them, there is nothing wrong with holding onto it.

I've heard about bitcoin on 2009, but I didn't show interest on it, now I regret it allot but as the saying comes the best time to plant a seed is today, because you cannot go back to the past.

You learned about it back in 2009?! That means you are one of very, very few. You are officially in the BTC Pioneer Club. Grin

Hearing about it is different from investing in it in 2009. I heard about bitcoins back in 2013. I should have done something about it before. Now everything seems too late. But looking at where bitcoins might be in the next few years, I think it is still potentially a good investment to get. Prices will definitely grow more in the next few years.
All drop down the price of Bitcoin on market just is scenario from whales, I think the potential still continue until the technology blockchain can using in outside and attractive with most country on the world's.

You can't blame yourself for what happened, of course you have a reason why you didn't do bitcoin that time, you still have the doubts since the value of bitcoin way back then is not that worth to trust nor promising, but all you have to do is to accept what happened, move on and start to do bitcoin, it is not too late to do bitcoin, but it is better if you early adopted bitcoin way back 2009.

In that way, you could earn more bitcoin and saved more bitcoin right now, you could be rich in an instant if that is the case, but since you have realized that you made a wrong move, then start to do bitcoin right now, and do all the ways that you know on how to earn bitcoin and keep on saving it.
I will suggest him the same. There is no point over regretting what happened in the past. Always one should treat mistakes as lessons. He should start earning bitcoins right now and store them in wallets for future. Still bitcoins are within range and I don’t think so there is any solid point in disbelieving bitcoins.

I'm not having that problem. I'm in Bitcoin since 2013 and have stayed faitful to it. Didn't stop beleive that Bitcoin can achieve a lot and have the place in the financial world that is having now. But I can understand that some people were sceptical, some still are, and have abandoned Bitcoin. But it's never to late to accept it and take your chances.

I wish I did hear about bitcoin then but only heard about bitcoin after the spike of November 2013 like many others I suppose. I immediately fall in love with it and since then I have been a loyal user of bitcoin and tried to convince many friends of mine to use it but they were skeptical about it. You are not that late though as you may have missed a lifetime opportunity but the opportunity is still here, buy bitcoins now as the price should grow more if the trend continues like now.

You don't need to regret. Nobody know the future is all. If known in advance, then this world will no boundaries between the poor and the rich. So, instead of regret the past, look to future.

I only heard this last year from one of my friend but still i am regretting why i didn't know bitcoin at that time. If I only knew bitcoin that time i could have been a millionaire now. If only i could bring back the time and invest in bitcoin i could have been living in a mansion now. I know that you're feeling the same but this is life, We have to face reality, It is not destined for us we have to accept it.

Yes I do somehow regret why I did not invest early here in bitcoin. I just started recently when the price of bitcoin keeps on rising. I also regret that I did not start as early as I can here in bitcointalk. I should be now a higher ranking than I am now today. But time has passed and I should need to move on and just look on opportunity on what we have today.

Yes, I regret that I didn't join right away.
A few years ago, when bitcoin was only $200 I was very skeptic and didn't trust bitcoin much.
When I see now btc price I'm really sorry that I didn't collect cheap bitcon when I had opportunity.
Any way, I can't change the past but still can prepare for the future Smiley
