Fibonacci retracement levels are horizontal lines that show potential areas of support and resistance. Fibonacci retracement levels link any two points that the trader considers important, usually a high and a low. Fibonacci numbers are used to create them. A percentage is assigned to each level. The percentage represents the amount of a previous move that the price has retraced.

A new malware called Vultur can record cell phone screens to steal data from Android users. The threat can transmit all of the victim's smartphone activities to cybercriminals and expose passwords recorded on the virtual keyboard, such as access data to banking applications, information about web pages and services that may store sensitive data. The banking Trojan quickly spread and infected between 5,000 and 8,000 smartphones, according to a report by security company Threat Fabric. Seeking quick profit, the scammers are also targeting attacks on cryptocurrency digital wallets, instant payment services, social networks and messengers such as WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook and Messenger.

@Alikhaki123 was flooding Bitcoin Discussion with threads that were mere google translations from Persian to English. On one or two posts he added a source, but the vast majority lacked one.

@Mr.Bitcoin111 follows the flooding wave trend (third of a kind lately on Bitcoin Discussion), but I haven’t been able to see the same Persian to English pattern that @Alikhaki123 followed, and the vocabulary, content, and phrase construction differs greatly (seemingly more down to earth).

It could be a change of strategy though, in terms of where the content is derived from.

I don't think it was Google translate. There were spelling errors. Or he could have put them in to help hide what was being done.

The second account has been nuked. So that's good IMO.
Lets' see how long until the next one doing that same thing pops up.
I really wonder what the reasoning is for it, try to get on a signature campaign? Going to get some posts & merit and start some form of scam? Just a troll?

This is kind of a tough one, it looks like word spinning and ban evasion but I cannot be 100% sure. Would like some other people to take a look.
If you take a look at user Alikhaki123 and their posts many of which were deleted by mods:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/alikhaki123-3369731
https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3369731
https://loyce.club/archive/members/336/3369731.html

You can see the style of posting and the fact that most of them are just word spun from all over. Google searching some sections of their posts can find them.

Just after they were banned Mr.Bitcoin111 registers and starts doing the same thing:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/mrbitcoin111-3371029
https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3371029
https://loyce.club/archive/members/337/3371029.html

Does not look like any of their posts have been deleted yet, I reported a couple but they are still unhandled.
Same user? Coincidence?

He could have made the same post with proper references

Hi LoyceV, thanks for the understanding. I edited my post and made a proper reference to the quoted sentences from the amazon website

however, perhaps just send him a PM to make the necessary corrections and move on; there's already a lot of crisis.

Hi igehhh thanks for the notify through PM. I didnt know that this was such a mess. I edited my post and added references thankyou  Smiley

Hi there Lucius, I mentioned Amazon on my post and there is no intention to plagiarize it because I thought people would understand already that it was from Amazon's website Smiley. I should have been more careful and added proper references in the future

I don't agree with your opinion
That's okay Smiley It's up to the moderators now.

i have two questions, when the next distribution will be? and can i link the same bitcoin address to another byteball address for the next distribution or i need more bitcoin linked with new address?

That's the kind of plagiarism we should get rid of. But if it wouldn't for spammers like this, posts like the one oHnK made wouldn't even draw anyone's attention. It's what I would call normal forum usage.

I don't think this deserves a plagiarism ban. It's a bit hidden, and there's no direct link, but the parts I've highlighted in red mention the Amazon jobs site. I'd say send oHnK a PM, so he can improve his use of references. All he has to do is add a link and quotation marks at the right places.

I don't agree with your opinion, because to me this is obvious plagiarism, regardless of the fact that you think he just forgot to put "quotation marks at the right places" or add a source - Hero member should probably learn those things by now.

Sometimes people make silly mistakes, and this is one of them; he never claimed the article/information as his/hers; instead, he boldly stated where it came from, and that's not plagiarism; you did a great job spotting it; however, perhaps just send him a PM to make the necessary corrections and move on; there's already a lot of crisis.

When I looked at the site of Amazon, indeed BTC is not mentioned in.the job vacancy but they mentioned about cryptocurrency which is include with BTC. In the position, one of the job description is leverage your domain expertise in Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Central Bank Digital Currencies and Cryptocurrency to develop the case for the capabilities which should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities.

But we should highlight that there will be a possibility Amazon will develop their own digital currency such as Libra of Facebook based on their statement. The Payments Acceptance & Experience team is seeking an experienced product leader to develop Amazon’s Digital Currency and Blockchain strategy and product roadmap.

Are things like this considered plagiarism: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/it-just-got-harder-and-less-profitable-to-mine-for-bitcoin-as-algorithm-adjusts-5354346

It's a copy paste from the link at the bottom. Doing the tl;dr thing for this 115 page thread since I figure it's been discussed before.

The citation is straightforward. It is not a plagiarized post; nevertheless, given the post existed previously, you could just report it, though I doubt the mod will delete it. Not a professional advice though  Grin

Not technically, since they reference the source (by the way, the post isn’t even completely copied, but rather partially, without even including the last paragraph in the last section copied/pasted).

It is though potentially reportable for being of low quality, arguing precisely that it is a copy paste with reference to the source, but adding no content otherwise. The counter may be whether the content per se is interesting or urgent, but I’d argue that, unless it’s an urgent matter, it doesn’t bring much to the table in its current copy/partial paste format.

The central bank of Nigeria (CBN), has reportedly set October 1 as the commencement date for the trial phase of it's digital currency project, dubbed "Project Giant". This digital currency project or the "e-naira" is expected to use the hyper ledger fabric block chain.
The revelation of the launch date for Nigeria's central bank digital currency (CBDC) comes just few months after the central bank governor,  said the digital currency will soon come to life. It also comes after the CBN suggested in June that Nigeria would have it's own C DC by the end of the year. With this revelation when confirmed officially, Nigeria will become the second west African nation to announce the pilot phase of it's own digital currency in 2021.
As previously reported, the bank of Ghana is the other country from the region to announce a date for it's digital currency project. In the meantime, the report reveals some of the focus areas that stand to benefit from the roll out of the e-naira. Some of these areas include cross border trade, monetary policy, tax revenue collection and remittance inflows

The user godweles888 copy pasted the below quoted post from https://clsbluesky.law.columbia.edu/2021/03/26/how-the-covid-19-pandemic-affected-the-cryptocurrency-market/. it's interesting that this is the only post he made outside of Games & Rounds. I guess he needs a higher rank to participate in giveaways and other types of competitions.

One set of forces leads to potentially higher demand for cryptocurrencies during a pandemic. The fact that cryptocurrencies can be traded from anywhere in the world alleviates, to some extent, potential liquidity constraints that can arise if local governments restrict trading activities as part of a lockdown. As a result, cryptocurrencies become more attractive compared than alternatives.
