I don't think this deserves a plagiarism ban. It's a bit hidden, and there's no direct link, but the parts I've highlighted in red mention the Amazon jobs site. I'd say send oHnK a PM, so he can improve his use of references. All he has to do is add a link and quotation marks at the right places.

I don't agree with your opinion, because to me this is obvious plagiarism, regardless of the fact that you think he just forgot to put "quotation marks at the right places" or add a source - Hero member should probably learn those things by now.

Sometimes people make silly mistakes, and this is one of them; he never claimed the article/information as his/hers; instead, he boldly stated where it came from, and that's not plagiarism; you did a great job spotting it; however, perhaps just send him a PM to make the necessary corrections and move on; there's already a lot of crisis.

When I looked at the site of Amazon, indeed BTC is not mentioned in.the job vacancy but they mentioned about cryptocurrency which is include with BTC. In the position, one of the job description is leverage your domain expertise in Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Central Bank Digital Currencies and Cryptocurrency to develop the case for the capabilities which should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities.

But we should highlight that there will be a possibility Amazon will develop their own digital currency such as Libra of Facebook based on their statement. The Payments Acceptance & Experience team is seeking an experienced product leader to develop Amazon’s Digital Currency and Blockchain strategy and product roadmap.

It's a copy paste from the link at the bottom. Doing the tl;dr thing for this 115 page thread since I figure it's been discussed before.

The citation is straightforward. It is not a plagiarized post; nevertheless, given the post existed previously, you could just report it, though I doubt the mod will delete it. Not a professional advice though  Grin

Not technically, since they reference the source (by the way, the post isn’t even completely copied, but rather partially, without even including the last paragraph in the last section copied/pasted).

It is though potentially reportable for being of low quality, arguing precisely that it is a copy paste with reference to the source, but adding no content otherwise. The counter may be whether the content per se is interesting or urgent, but I’d argue that, unless it’s an urgent matter, it doesn’t bring much to the table in its current copy/partial paste format.

The central bank of Nigeria (CBN), has reportedly set October 1 as the commencement date for the trial phase of it's digital currency project, dubbed "Project Giant". This digital currency project or the "e-naira" is expected to use the hyper ledger fabric block chain.
The revelation of the launch date for Nigeria's central bank digital currency (CBDC) comes just few months after the central bank governor,  said the digital currency will soon come to life. It also comes after the CBN suggested in June that Nigeria would have it's own C DC by the end of the year. With this revelation when confirmed officially, Nigeria will become the second west African nation to announce the pilot phase of it's own digital currency in 2021.
As previously reported, the bank of Ghana is the other country from the region to announce a date for it's digital currency project. In the meantime, the report reveals some of the focus areas that stand to benefit from the roll out of the e-naira. Some of these areas include cross border trade, monetary policy, tax revenue collection and remittance inflows

The user godweles888 copy pasted the below quoted post from https://clsbluesky.law.columbia.edu/2021/03/26/how-the-covid-19-pandemic-affected-the-cryptocurrency-market/. it's interesting that this is the only post he made outside of Games & Rounds. I guess he needs a higher rank to participate in giveaways and other types of competitions.

One set of forces leads to potentially higher demand for cryptocurrencies during a pandemic. The fact that cryptocurrencies can be traded from anywhere in the world alleviates, to some extent, potential liquidity constraints that can arise if local governments restrict trading activities as part of a lockdown. As a result, cryptocurrencies become more attractive compared than alternatives.

On May 22, 2010, a Bitcoin developer named Laszlo Hanyecz bought what may have been the most expensive meal in human history when he paid someone 10,000 Bitcoins to pick up and deliver him two pizzas from Papa John’s.

Given that one Bitcoin is now worth more than $30,000, those pizzas cost, in retrospect, somewhere north of $300 million.

Nowadays, of course, no one would think of shelling out Bitcoin for something as mundane as a pizza without thinking first about how much money they might be giving up in the future.

In the years since Hanyecz’s splurge, Bitcoin has gone from being an interesting experiment in decentralized finance to being the best-performing asset of the decade, rising more than 10,000,000% since 2010 and jumping 220% last year alone.

There’s a Bitcoin ticker on every finance website.

I just stormed this thread today, and with what I saw it means plagiarism is being carried out on a daily basis. What an eye opening thread?
But this menace called plagiarism can be stopped. I recommend this topic of mine to plagiarists that want to repent or newbies.

That's a long one and it takes me a minute to read all of it. I do agree that the forum should be strict sometimes for those who plagiarised content. I would be angry if someone used my work as their own without giving me credits. My plan is to help shamm a little bit and maybe I would be able to change his/her mindset about his/her posting ability and other stuff. That is why I said in my previous post that you should trust yourself more than others. Thanks for the point you gave and i'll keep it in mind.

No worries. You can call me friend but the only person you have to trust is yourself, not that I can't be trusted but I won't claim myself as trusted since I haven't done many services which can prove that I am trusted like those forum users who run an escrow service. It is better to be safe than sorry. Improve your ability to quote.

It's all fine and dandy to attempt to help members who might be actually genuine in their various aspirations and not trying to scam (or mislead) anyone... .. Some members are more genuine than others, and I am not sure whether taking too many aspects to DM is actually helpful.. but sure, sometimes, there might just need to be some frank talk to help to clear up some mistakes that some newer members might be making along the way (and that might be more achievable in a DM format)...

It seems that over the years, I have helped some members, and some of that has been through public threads, and sometimes we do end up taking some of the matters to private messages... and in the end, even though I have some ideas of members that I have helped, I would not really say anything because like you said nakamura, the member has to have some readiness, willingness and ability to help himself/herself..... but sure, sometimes red flags will be raised along the way too..... and not always easy to spot.. and sometimes we just might not know..

Sometimes I will very much limit how much that I am willing to go over in private when some of the matters can just be covered publicly because there are interests that are of general applicability being discussed, whether we are talking about views about bitcoin versus various altcoin or we are talking about forum rules or even expectations (and norms) of forum member behaviors.  Through the years, there are some members who actually cause some concern for me, but frequently, I will just leave some matters be and choose not to get involved (of course, these are discretionary matters in terms of how much time any of us might feel that we have to interact with any member or group of members).

Also, sometimes there are just differing ways that members have of communicating that just are within a realm that does not really violate forum rules or norms (even if they might be going in a kind of questionable judgement direction).. so in the end, it may well be the case that no one is really being hurt along the way (until they are..).. and for sure, the forum can sometimes be quite strict on certain seemingly low levels of plagiarism, too...

As the world gravitates towards cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, businesses have realized that to stay relevant, they must open their doors to the use of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, which is why BITTKAN has announced the use of VMIX

United States - July 28, 2021 — The outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent breakdown in physical interactions gave rise to ecommerce. Businesses had to embrace ecommerce to stay afloat and survive the pandemic and global lockdown issued to curb the spread of the virus. Unfortunately, the current ecommerce model has many inadequacies, including excessive inventory, fraud, lack of international market reach, and high transaction costs.

As proffered by financial analysts and experts, one of the ways to solve these problems is the use of innovative blockchain technology that provides consumers with a frictionless shopping experience from anywhere in the world. Furthermore, adopting this solution will enable lower prices on products due to minimal overhead costs and maximized efficiency through smart contract automation of transactions between merchants and consumers. On this note, VMIX Token, a revolutionary cryptocurrency that will change ecommerce and cryptocurrency trading for the better, has been launched.

“We are happy to be the first to provide excellent service, which facilitates the process of buying & selling Marketplaces and Dropshipping Global Supplier through Metamask, Trust wallet and others Web3 wallet,” said Bandar Alamri, CEO of VccMix.

Persons who own VMIX tokens can trade Dropshipping products and perform exchanges with another cryptocurrency anytime, anywhere, and at a low cost. It is a secure and decentralized cryptocurrency token wherein the developers have designed an offline storage structure that provides an additional level of security, preventing theft and loss.

VMIX is the native cryptocurrency of BITKKAN, a dropshipping website that features a growing collection of items, including digital products, clothing, phones, cameras, jewelry, wristwatches, computers, televisions, audio players, and accessories.

Buying on BITKKAN can be processed using VMIX, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash, and 150+ cryptocurrencies. Thus, the platform allows anyone in the world to make a payment from one party to another in a fast, cheap, and secure manner without going through a financial institution.

Spanning July to August 2021, VMIX will be up for grabs as the platform has set up an Initial Crowd Offering (ICO). In addition, the general public can enjoy free airdrop and own VMIX tokens when they create a free wallet on www.vmixcoin.com. To learn more about the VMIX token and its uses, please visit www.vccmix.com or www.bitkkan.com Marketplaces.

I'm very sorry for what I've done, promise I will not do it again  thanks for the advice I'll follow it for the sake of other here in Forum. This mistakes will be my lesson.

Actually I am not focusing in earning merits I'm trying to help other just  like my previous Thread but sad to say I am Still new here in the forum I'm turning 3 months now in August and still learning.
Once again sorry for my mistake.
You can ask for guidance from forum users who contributed a lot to this forum but if failed to find one, I can help you with that by  send me a dm, I'll be glad to give you some pointers as what other forum users taught me. Stop trying to help that much when you said you are still learning. Better focus on that and you'll achieve what others celebrated in this foeum like ranking up. I am a newbie once which my mindset is more on earning merit instead of just joining discussions, creating threads using your own words rather than using other people's work. It's not bad to copy all words then citing the original author and link or link alone as long as you don't have to do all the time as it will be a different aim which is an attempt to earn merit. Make sure you keep your words that you won't do it again. You still have a chance to change that if you have given a chance.

thank you for the good offer from now on I'll call you friend.
