Here comes the monthly activity of May 2024 prepared by "Hamza2424". As the summer is starting, we are hopeful to make our thread more interactive, engaging and beautiful with so many useful posts and knowledge we gain, through our local thread engagements.

There is no storage of people in our community who always come up on a monthly basis and present for us the monthly summary of the data for our local thread.

Another month has passed by and the first quarter of 2024 has already finished. Also, we are now in the month when Bitcoin Halving will take place. So many events pass by but our wish for the local board remains pending

We have achieved another milestone today. Pakistan Local Thread 1000 pages has been completed
It has been a long journey where the first post was created on June 12, 2013 and the thousand page was reached on March 14, 2024, a journey and struggle of a decade
We started slowly but gained pace as time moved on and more people were introduced to this community.
Many congratulations to all the users of our community and our moderator Xal0lex. Hoping to see a great time ahead.
I was searching which other board has 1000+ pages at the moment and there is none to be found other than the Pakistan Local board. The second most pages local thread is from বাংলা (Bengali) who is on the 517 page at the moment. This is almost half of what the Pakistan local thread has managed to achieve.
Did we have any local board having 1000 pages before
Recently Nigeria got their local board and I think they had way fewer pages than the 1000 number. Seriously if this is the first time any local thread got the 1000 pages, it is a big milestone Congratulations 1000 Pages completed

I am saying is that there are only 3 or 4 local threads that are active and if those are converted into local boards, it will be good for those communities who are waiting for their local board for quite some time now.
Yes, you're absolutely right those 3-4 active local threads where members show their presence and make posts should be considered and they might get their own local boards. New local boards are highly needed in this forum because in those local boards members who speak same language can contribute valuable stuff which will ultimately help all those people to reach the board who speak the same language. Let's assume if Pakistan local board is created then most members will write their posts in Urdu which's the official language of Pakistan, but I must say that majority of Indians also have Urdu/Hindi as their main language and all those people can easily understand Roman Urdu. All those members can be part of this forum when that local board is created. It will also help the forum to gain more users who speak those two languages.
Other than Pakistan, there are other communities too which are active on their local threads like "Укpaїнcькa (Ukrainian)" and "বাংলা (Bengali)" and they are also waiting for their local board.

Ultimately, it's Theymos's decision because only he knows better that when new boards should be created. I hope Pakistan and all those mentioned communities may get their local boards in 2024 as a gift when Bitcoin crosses its ATH.
Well, I am not saying that the local boards that are not active should be converted back to local threads but all I am saying is that there are only 3 or 4 local threads that are active and if those are converted into local boards, it will be good for those communities who are waiting for their local board for quite some time now.

We need to see the priorities of Theymos and how many local board approvals he would be willing to approve. Other than Pakistan, there are other communities too which are active on their local threads like "Укpaїнcькa (Ukrainian)" and "বাংলা (Bengali)" and they are also waiting for their local board.
Other things for consideration are that there are some local boards which are very much inactive if compared to other local boards or even local threads. To be honest, no one knows and no one can guess when there will be more local boards.
Anyway whatever is the reason, we will continue to be active and supportive to the community. This year we started even better for our community as many new posters are regularly active on our local board and as usual, we keep track of the most active posters each month and give the some rewards too.

Finally, we are in the year 2024 but still, we are waiting for our local board. We are close to 1000+ pages in our local thread, and these fantastic yearly stats speak for our performance.

You are absolutely correct, and the progress we've made so far are truly commendable, especially considering we don't have our own local board yet. Now, envision the progress we can achieve once we establish a dedicated local board for the Pakistani and other Urdu-speaking communities. It has been proven recently that the progress of a local board can be superb after it's inception.
Another month and more better stats and more progress.
The only thing that is missing is our local Board. May we have our local board before the last sun sets for the year 2023

We giving our best, improving our stats day by day, with the hope that Theymos will announce yet another local board within this year and this time it may be for the Pakistan (Urdu)

You are absolutely correct, and the progress we've made so far are truly commendable, especially considering we don't have our own local board yet. Now, envision the progress we can achieve once we establish a dedicated local board for the Pakistani and other Urdu-speaking communities. It has been proven recently that the progress of a local board can be superb after it's inception.
Given the Nigeria's population (more than 200 million, 6th most populous country in the world) and more importantly how popular bitcoin is there, its not really a surprise that they are climbing up the ladder fast and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them at the top in the future.
Success of the Nigerian local board should be a proof enough to forum staff that it makes sense to create few more local boards to those who consistently have good numbers, namely Pakistan and Bangladesh as their numbers would most likely grow too if given local boards.
