Is this project purely develops games for gambling? Or the game you are looking to develop is related to NFT blockchain game that boomed recently?
Regardless, I really want to see games related to board games wherein players can compete with each other, specifically, Chess. Can you make it possible?

So, without giving too much away, we are building a game that is based on prisoner's dilemma mixed with rock paper scissors - it will be tournamint bracket style where PVP (player v player) plays 5 games against opponent - winner progresses to meet a new competitor, loser is eliminated. This will ween down to final pool of winners who split the prize pot.

Thats just one game.

Another is a sports-based "fantasy draft" game that doesn't require the player know the nth insight of all players etc in order to engage in draft/play.

** I cannot thank you all who have shared feedback here -- everything is being taken in by me and the team and we really want to build these games the right way - for the players. Appreciate you all

There's no how a casino can be a 100% complete in everything, there must still be some little discrepancies that may serves as shortfalls but ones such is noticed, they speedingly make a cover up for it in maintenance, try the very best you think is worth giving as a quality service for gamblers to enjoy and develop a good security network for the company while the gambler's satisfaction of service should always be your own way of responding back to them in making them happy always whenever they engage your casino for gambling, check the games that are not included on other casinos and include them on yours.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
First thing is KYC :  in good old times the words KYC and cryptogambling were never mentioned in the same sentence lol.  If there is a way to avoid it you will surely have chance to be among the favourite sites by crypto degens

- What would you like to see?
Something that involve, even if in minimal part, player's involvement choice  : I mean I don't like slots becauseyou just have to puch play button and that's all. Something I really liked back in the days was the bonus feature bustabit ( moneypot at those times) had in their crash game but then removed it . Also ethercrash had but it's is no longer active  quoting below part of their FAQ regarding it just to be clear on what am talking about
Quote
The bonus is a special prize that is awarded to the last people to cash out before the game crashed. Getting the bonus is critical to skillful playing of EtherCrash, as it is the only way to overcome house odds.
0.5% of each player's stake goes into the bonus pot. So if there are 4 players, betting 400, 300, 200, and 100, there will be 5 ethos in the pot. If the biggest player wins, he gets the whole pot. The site works out the rate he would be getting if he won, ie. 400 ethos bet gives 5 ethos bonus - or 1/40th bonus per ethos bet. It then applies the same rate to whoever actually wins.
So if the 100 ethos player wins, he gets 1/40th of 100, or 1.25 ethos. That leaves 3.75 ethos in the pot, which goes to the next best placing player(s).
Suppose the 200 ethos player comes 2nd. He is due 1/40th of 200, or 2.5 ethos. There are still 3.75 ethos in the pot, so he gets the full 2.5 ethos he is due - the same as if he had come in 1st place.
Suppose the 300 ethos player comes 3rd. He's due 3.75 ethos (300/40) but there is only 1.25 ethos left in the pot, so he gets those and that's all. There's nothing left for the 4th or worse place players.
1% of games will instant bust (0x) and no bonuses will be awarded, all other games have bonuses equal to 0.5% of the amount wagered.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?

Equal game and playability: trust, graphics, an online trollbox, vip system, promo ...

- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
If by this you mean  a degenerate gambler  : the first one that come to my mind is yahoo62278 watching him play live on bustadice
was better than playing myself ...what a run he had!

- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?
Twitter, telegram groups, youtube

Here's my view mate:

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
The main pains points have to do with identity validation and KYC

- What would you like to see?
I would like to see a new and innovative Poker Room that could introduce something new.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
This is a very subjective question as not every gambler considers the same features fun. I guess that something that would make it fun to play poker would be to allow users the chance of organizing private poker tournaments where family and friends could play
- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
Not sure what to say, but anyone in a bad beat can become an absolute Degen

- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

I normally prefer to get or to follow for information over here in the forum, but one of the most important channels that I believe every casino should have is a Twitter channel as this improves the trustness around the casino.

Man I cannot thank you ALL enough for everyone providing feedback here --- thank you so much. I will certainly keep everyone here posted once the game has been developed for sure = for those asking.

Also when it comes to gaming/gambling -- Do you prefer a game of skill? or one of pure chance?
I personally prefer skill-based games for a higher chance of winning where certain strategies are applicable. Most strategic games test our intellectual ability. Sometimes, I also prefer the excitement that games with a pure chance could offer like a lottery. We don't need to apply skills but it's exciting because we got no idea about the possible result.

Develop a "casino" that are 100% anonymous and requires NO ..KYC information. We are sick of all these casinos that claim that they are "anonymous" ...but when you want to withdraw money, they start asking for KYC information.
Some casinos for certain withdrawal limit may not require KYC, but in the end when withdrawal reach the limit then KYC may be required. I've read the thread, but can't find it at this moment.

After all developing non KYC casino for withdrawals in higher amounts is likely to be very difficult. It would be easy for people to misuse the casino for things that break the law like money laundering or something like that. Government regulations are only for prevention efforts, but of course in general it has harmed the privacy of gamblers.

Also when it comes to gaming/gambling -- Do you prefer a game of skill? or one of pure chance?
Both games should be available in your casino because it can give your customers a choice.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
the KYC process has become the main pain nowadays in the gambling industry, and from the casinos side bonus abusers have become a big pain too.

- What would you like to see?
Provably fair games... where the user can verify each one of his slot spins, or each poker and blackjack table.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
Games fun to play are those ones that allow us to win sometimes, for example, some slots machines get a lot of consecutive x0, but other ones have a better RTP and pay more often.

If we are going to talk about an upcoming game, that better be innovative and more interactive among the players and the system itself, unlike the previous and currently existing ones. I would like to have and try a crypto game that is not overly dominated by bots and automation. It would be really nice to have a game that is based on teamwork, strategies, and personal interactive combats which will determine the points and winning systems.

One of the pain for the players is the KYC part, most of the people were having trouble in this part because sometimes they are playing from prohibited countries, doesn't want to share personal information online and sometimes gambling site owners are taking advantage to these KYC as they have the chance not to release the payment of the player, hold it or don't pay at all and at the same time they can resell the id or personal information to other companies.

Hi there,

I'm part of a team developing a crypto/blockchain game that has big $$ prize potential. I'm doing some research and hoping this community can help. If you guys have any insight/thoughts on the following questions please share them. We are really trying to build something that is enjoyable for the crypto gaming/gambling community.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
- What would you like to see?
- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

We just want to build this game the right way that players actually enjoy playing in addition to potential of winning big....  Grin

Thanks all.

Your innovation is a welcome development. Creativity speaks more on technology than mere talking. You asking question here to finding solutions to your  upcoming project would likely get you into numerous options both the meaningful and the meaningless ones which is not required and neither would you need them at the long run. If you are being given a whole lots of suggestion, would you be able to implement them ? the question is upto you to answer in your closest. I would suggest you go on with your research and also have a look at other platforms try see what they have onboard their platforms that makes them unique, compare them with what you have at hand check the difference  and see if you have what it takes to beat them hands down in the industry. After working on it, you can bring it here for a review for which i know for sure you would get responses and  positive feedback's from platform members in respect to your project. If you should start with that step of asking the above question here now, believe me you you would get confused.

I've been in the cryptocurrency community since 2019 and I saw a lot of crypto gambling already of course one of the struggles of the player is the KYC because some of them don't want to make their information exposed with their gambling habit and we know that how does the information really can be used in identity theft so they don't want to expose those on it, and next is the withdrawal and of course if you have a large amount of money and would like to make a withdrawal they hold if you are not KYC verified else it really takes so long to get process. The things I want to see in the crypto gambling is of course something unique that never been tried like the horse race game and etc.

If we are talking about cryptogambling - you can visit several top casinos to catch some moments from it. Everybody makes his own choice and you can`t get the one common answer "what is the best choice for gambling"
About cryptogaming i can say only that cryptocurrency mostly used for ingame donations. I don`t see anything interesting in this situation because such games mostly were created to get maximum donate without any interesting decisions for players.
I'm sure they knew this and done this already since they are aware on the existence of other casino. I believe this survey purpose tis collect data directly from the customers so that they can choose unique suggestion and direct feedback to their target market. This kind of survey is the most effective way if you are researching on the market for your business aside scouting to your competitors if you want to develop a unique feature that other casino don't have.

Also, This kind of survery will give them idea on what's the priority games to be added on there casino and what is not base on user feedback in contrary of only copying other popular casino games.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
Same problems as with other gaming, nothing special specificly about crypto. Some people hate kyc but i wouldn't try to make being non-kyc your main selling point as you might need to implement that later too.

- What would you like to see?
More skill based games, but that skill shouldn't be something bots could just handle better then humans. I would like so much to play games like Civilization or Risk for prize money. Where you could team up and create strategies. Although teaming up, even with unknown people might lead to some sort of scams i haven't thought of yet.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
Smooth/sleek graphical user interface in both phone and in browser. Intuitive design and big passionated community.

- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
Everyone.

Also.... create something where you can actually "validate" the RTP that are configured... at any given time. I currently play at several Crypto casinos and all of them display a RTP that cannot be validated. (They change it all the time... but the RTP displayed ..stays static)  Angry Angry Angry

1. Most of the people told about KYC so I will go with fees which is important for occasional gamblers and people who bet with small amount so casinos can charge fee dynamically according to mempool status instead of static.

2. UI? Graphics or whatever it really depends but I like simple with minimal graphics but everyone have their own taste.

Additional note : every casino designed in a way to win big atleast few hundred BTCs but the fact is not everyone can win it. Cheesy

The problem in crypto gambling that has often arisen is that KYC comes to gamblers suddenly when they feel they are not made a deposit or withdrawal in big money or are carrying out suspicious activity.
First of all, a casino should state in on their rules that they will request their users a KYC. Any casino can't just demand it right away as soon as they like because that was wrong and they can be punished for doing so. Therefore as a gambler, we must make it a habit to read the rules and regulations of the casino before we play so that we will know if what to expect. There is no rules about the players who don't make a deposit.

We never know maybe those users are only testing the site if it was good to play there or not. These freeloaders can't also do much like getting rains or receiving a bonus because these features are strictly for those who wager actively.
Their rules are usually written on a separate page on their website so that it will be easier for users to read them and know what is prohibited and what is permitted. It is a must for a casino to write down its rules so that gamblers do not try to violate these rules and gamblers also know what to do to play comfortably.

And usually, before gamblers deposit more money, they check out the casino and make sure it is the one they are looking for. And if they already know if it's the right casino for them, they'll usually deposit more money than before. And if they can get a bonus from the first and second deposit, it can make them want to play at the casino. This will be a service from the casino to its members.

No one is mentioning a slot machine or many slot machines who has unique game play mechanics that we have not seen so far from the providers we have. One of the new providers had a unique option where if you don't win anything from the free spins or if you don't win at least x20 of your bet they keep repeating the free spins until you reach a minimum of x20,something I only seen yesterday night and I have years playing slot machines.

Other than that I think the replies here have covered pretty much everything.
