Hi there,

I'm part of a team developing a crypto/blockchain game that has big $$ prize potential. I'm doing some research and hoping this community can help. If you guys have any insight/thoughts on the following questions please share them. We are really trying to build something that is enjoyable for the crypto gaming/gambling community.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
- What would you like to see?
- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

We just want to build this game the right way that players actually enjoy playing in addition to potential of winning big....  Grin

Thanks all.

Maybe fix the KYC first, don't say you don't have KYC but when you withdraw a lot of money from your casino platform, you will suddenly say that there is KYC. At least if you say from the beginning that there is KYC in your rules, the players who will play on your platform will be aware of it. So that you don't criticize somehow.

Second, I hope your percentage per transaction is not large. Then when it comes to sources of information about crypto gambling, one of the good sources is cryptonews.com, but I know there are others besides this.

Then if the casino that will be made has faucets, I hope it will be unique compared to others, I mean it would be better for the type of gamblers themselves to promote it. So far this is all I can say. Good luck to you

besides the deposit bonus for new members. bonuses for old members with certain category levels will be good for your customers.
besides, make the platform view as smooth as possible. not too complicated in operation.
As may have been discussed before, operate your casino honestly. Similarly, KYC is a step gamblers don't like when they want to make a withdrawal.

it might be difficult to comply with the wishes of the members. but I think a lot of input that you will receive can make you a consideration to build your business well.

Nothing matters a lot. You just need to be honest that’s all a gambler expects from a casino.
Work on your bankroll and probablyfair thing OP. Also make the games UI smooth, so that no player should face any sort of lag and this gives the user smoothless gaming experience. Also it will be better if you can implement no KYC policy. As we are talking about crypto gambling. And here many of us like to remain anonymous. As far as you remain honest with your players, you will be praised by them. That’s all each and every gambler wants from a gambling site with has a potential .

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
KYC, and non-responsive support team. I'd put the latter in a higher priority than the former, it's a serious pain in the ass if support doesn't answer you properly or just says the same thing over and over again for months. I'd much rather they be straight to me than just make me circle around in place

- What would you like to see?
New variety of games. Might be hard though seeing as it's been long and we haven't exactly seen anything new being made.
- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
If it was a site comparison, then as I've said, a responsive support team and non-KYC would make all the difference.

- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?
Scammers.
- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?
None. I randomly visit some news sites but that's about it, I don't really have any "main" source for news.

What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
Asking from players strict identity verification or confiscating coins from accounts because they don't want to complete it is biggest problem for me.
I understand the need for regulations in crypto gambling but make tiers and enable option to gamble free with smaller amount of coins.

What would you like to see?
There should be more games that are inspired by sports themes.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?
The usual things like kyc, customer support and disputes.

- What would you like to see?
Solution to those pain points. But even if a casino asks for a kyc and someone is satisfied with them, it's not a thing anymore.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
The approach of the casino itself, when they're into its community and the fun is just always there but when the casino itself is coordinating and having fun together with its players through conversations and updates, I think that's more fun.

- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?
Don't trust most YouTubers, they're mostly for the paid reviews and ads that even dishonest reviews, they'll give it.

I think if you want your project/games to stand out here you probably have to offer something quite different or a few things that are unique from the completion.

No kyc and a provably fair system.are the best way to go. I don't think a service can expect to do well straight away either, a lot of people here are skeptical of new projects, you'll get a lot more deposits a few years after initially opening if you keep a good reputation.

Games with a bit of character are generally beter than those that aren't too, from something as simple as artwork to offering different rules to introducing completely new games that can't be played elsewhere are generally good places to start imo.

  • I would like to see something that works same as Directbet.
  • Games played against players makes it more fun.
  • Bitcointalk gives the right information on each and everything associated with cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms than other sources. The announcement threads were a place to confirm if some information relative to the platform have rolled out.

This your question is plenty and I think it will guide you to get what you want and the mind of gamblers and what they are expecting from a gambling platform.
There are plenty of things I will like to see from a gambling platform which include fast deposit and withdrawal transactions and good and interesting games that is very competitive.

- What are some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space for players?

Site infunctionality, casino security, KYC and customers support, this are the major ones i think were often experienced on a frequent occurrence.

- What would you like to see?

An improved online gambling that will have all the above mentioned challenges solved or dealt with to a reasonable extent for gamblers to have good experience when gambling

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games

It's all begin with the site functionality, the security of the site and the graphics used on the displayed home screen, icons themes, and the games played from the menu bars, the site arrangements and organizations, display previews, site orientation etc.

Just to settle out some points, Bitcointalk is not a news website, It is a place for discussions. Everyone here has the access to pass any kind of information, the information may be right or wrong, but it will be discussed. There are still chances that the information shared being discussed may be wrong or twisted. Typical news websites check sometimes to ensure that majority of the news put out are credible and not just everyone has the access to share whatever they like there. For strictly news, I am a personal fan of The Washington Post, but I still do my own verifications.

Totally understand - basically I meant do you engage in any other chat forums, or straight up where else do you consume crypto gaming/gambling info from. Thanks Smiley

What I will suggest is for you to launch with your own template and get the casino exposed to the community, and the feedback, you get from members' via their interaction with your site will help you to improve your casino.

But leaving yourself, open to any suggestion may get you confused but you can also work with a few of the suggestions already mentioned on this thread, I will be looking forward to seeing you launch a proper ANN thread.

For me definitely KYC and especially cheating on KYC. Casinos that allow you to play with no KYC and ask for it only when you win and want to withdraw, then make you go through a number of obstacles before you're finally approved.

- What would you like to see?

I wish someone finally makes a good pvp game. I know it's hard but I'd love to play something like tekken or even as simple as scrabble gainst another person at a casino.
What we don't want more (at least IMO) is another casino with dice and slots.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?

For some people it's going to be a site where they won a bunch of money, for others it's going to be their first casino that they like to play. I think that many people played on Primedice because it was the first site of this type that advertised so much on bitcointalk so it got a big group of players when there was almost nowhere else to go to and these people kept habitually playing there years later

- Who are some absolute Degens in the space?

Probably people who make money promoting scams like people with 1xbit sigs, unless you're asking about crazy gamblers who lose a lot of money and say they quit, but they don't quit but do it for attention. There's plenty of them here.

- Aside from BitcoinTalk (this forum) where else do you get your news that you trust (which newsletters, sites, which Youtubers, any twitter accounts)?

I have more than enough info from this forum.

Appreciate you - thanks so much for sharing your thoughts

For me specifically, two aspects of online gambling using cryptocurrency are important:
1. The absence of a mandatory KYC procedure.
2. It is desirable to have small commissions for transactions.  To do this, either use coins with a small commission (for example, TRON).  But specifically for me, the best of course is bitcoin payments through the Lightning Network protocol.  It may be difficult to implement it in an online casino, but it is convenient for Bitcoin users.
Here in a nutshell, what is important in my opinion.

Good luck with your project!!!
