The operator is known, why not enforce claims through legal action?

That's the plan. I'm not in the position to do it right this moment as I'm on vacation, but we'll get around to it.

Unless they, Cloudbet, return deposits from lost wagers to players from restricted countries, they are free rolling these players and should be called out.

Get a kick out of this:
After i sent their "support" department this:
"I urge you to reconsider and release my funds, or this will only be the beginning: https://cloudbetscam.com/
I will give you 24 hours to reply and solve this nonsense before passing the keys to my developers and marketing team to make the website VERY live."

They respond with:
"Dear americandream,

We will be contacting the police and providing them with your details if there are any attempts to maliciously harm the website.

Please consider this our final communication.

Best regards,

Paul

Cloudbet Support Manager"

I assume they intend on using my personal information that I provided them with and they insured that they would keep confidential for this.

Cloudbet, I would LOVE to talk to the police so I could find out who filed the report so I can counter sue them.
You best believe the website is going live and will be ranked for every keyword that you target. That's what I do for a living.

I'll keep the thread updated with progress and will deter as much business from you as possible. Anybody who wants to join the fight, DM me.

The thing is his friend traveling with him lost almost a bitcoin recently and they didn’t ask for KYC. If KYC is that important they should require it to make your first deposit:)

If that’s the case his friends bets should be voided also since they claim they won’t take the bets.

They sure would take his funds if he had lost a big amount. Very good move from OP to provide them his Russian documents after they declined his withdrawal with some weak excuse.

Now cloudbet has no other choice than releasing the player funds. Or will they come up with another excuse?

@OP: Good luck. 1.7 BTC is an amount to fight for. Don't give in if they try to come up with some crappy deal like refunding your start balance or whatever.

Thanks for the support. I'm not intending to let them get away with it. This is a pure scam if I have ever seen one.

citenzship has nothing to do with location.

he should know the american law that he is not allowed to gamble on not authorised websites by the gambling commision ( something like that should be the name)

Are you not listening? He is in France and cloudbet knew that.

I see he was on vacation, I missed that part, oh if he was in France and they have operating licence is bad to them. Really bad, just a run to the police and make a complaint and can be closed (at least in France) in 5 days.

Anyhow good luck.

Now I have the full view.

I don't think this guy fully understands the situation. Let it go. Let's hear from this Ronnie fellow from CloudBet.

Meanwhile, I've registered cloudbetscam.com and will pursue to build it unless our situations are sorted out. If you want to collaborate on this, DM me.

This screenshot is not on the op post now i just read it.

well, as matter of fact, users usually tend to forget these kind of small details such as using a VPN.

regarding not paying, yeah it's illegal for them to block your account for 2 years because they don't feel like paying you. Playing with the letter of the law is never helpful for a simple person.

btw i endorse with this user, i am not against him

Class suite? Are you mad? If they are from Europe as example and you open a law suite in usa and you'll be fined not them.

Look better in the future where you are going to gamble

If I am not wrong this is their ANN thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cloudbet-sportsbook-and-casino-bet-with-btc-and-bch-100-deposit-bonus-333552, I will request to OP please provide more details and screenshot. Did you read their trams & condition ? Something wrong there? There is any mentioned about residential?

3.4. You will not use our services while located in any jurisdiction that prohibits the placing and/or accepting of bets denominated in bitcoin online, and/or playing casino and/or poker games for and/or with bitcoin.

3.5. You are permitted in the jurisdiction in which you are located to use online sports betting, casino and poker services.
Is your country not support online bettings?
However I have sent PM them to reply here or you can reply on their ANN thread.

Thank you for the link. I have posted in their main thread, which seems to have a ton and a half of these complaints. Perhaps an action class lawsuit is appropriate, I will update this thread with any progress.
