Point number 2 and 3 are the ones that are very key, chasing your losses is actually a mental trap and the moment you fall into it you might get hooked. A lot of obsessed and addicted gamblers started by chasing their losses, once you start doing it you will find out that you keep on having repeated events, it's an endless cycle where you make profit lose some part of it and try to get it back with the rest you have. Gambling for entertainment keeps your mind healthy, trying to make gambling a source of income would definitely make you desperate. Whatever you do try not to get addicted to it.
Loss chasing is indeed a trap no gambler should ever dream of falling into. It’s true what you said about winning some money, losing some of it and then using what’s left to chase what you’ve lost, and in most cases, this ends up in losing everything, you lose all the money and go back home with nothing or even debt. Yes, some gamblers who find themselves in this situation could go to the extreme point of acquiring debt just to continue and recover their losses. This is literally the reason why most gamblers walk out of the casino every single time with nothing but regret and disappointment, not really because they don’t manage to secure any wins at all but because they allow greed and loss chasing cloud their judgments.

That is what we must do to become a responsible gamblers and not get tempted easily from the promotion. We control ourselves so we must know what the anticipation that we can do to prevents the tempting becomes big. We must not break our limits because that is too dangerous for us especially if we feels we can get tempts because of that. We must realize that becoming a responsible gamblers is not easy but we never give up to do that because we know that playing gambling is not our main activity so we must really control of it. It is why we must always learn and practice the lesson so we can have responsibility when playing gambling.

All this seems very easy to do, but when greed and excitement overwhelm a gambler during a gambling session, risk management and deposit limits are forgotten by most of us. I have been trying to use these techniques for several years and I admit to be honest sometimes it is difficult for me to counteract the compulsive desire to deposit another 10-50$ to try to win back the loss. As I understand self-control will have to be learned all my life.

True, it is a fact that all planning that leads to prevention will be very easy to forget when someone is already controlled by emotions in him, one of the reasons why I agree with your opinion is because I have also experienced that situation before because I was previously addicted, the fact is that everything will fall apart and usually a gambler will never think about the impact of what can happen when they make various impulsive decisions.
This means that it is true that self-control must be trained and the first step that I think must be fixed is your perspective on gambling, meaning eliminate all your goals and obsessions with winning and convince yourself that gambling only allows you to be used as a place to find entertainment and nothing else, believe that everything will be fine when you don't make winning a priority.

First you have to be responsible yourself, a person who has no knowledge of responsibility is dangerous in every work and he will make big mistakes in every work. Being responsible is more important than being good at gambling. A responsible gambler makes a well-thought-out gambling decision and is more likely to make a gambling mistake. A responsible gambler knows well when to start gambling and when to stop gambling. I may have enough money right now and if I just keep gambling and losing money without setting any money limit then one time I will see this huge amount of money I am gambling and losing in few days.

The intention of gambling should be that I start gambling with a small amount of money and try to increase this small amount gradually. One day may be your loss, take a break for that day and prepare for the next day and work on your mistakes in that one day. If gambling is done in a planned and responsible manner then the results will definitely be more likely to favor the gambler.

Patience and hard work are the keys to success.

Of course, this is extremely difficult for most players. Almost everyone wants to win back, both beginners and professionals, because no one wants to leave in a bad mood and without money, while feeling unlucky compared to those who won. All this puts pressure on us and will continue to put pressure on us for several days, this will cause a slight depression and the player will think about how to win back. At one point, I realized that you can't exceed the amount of the loss and want to win back, because it's like a spiral that twists each time. And until the player understands the mechanism of action on his brain, he will not be able to resist it.
That's the thing that I am well aware of how small my chances of a big win, but at some point I have as if my mind shuts down. It is at this point and need to be able to control yourself because almost any gambler is ready to adhere to the basic recommendations to minimize losses before he sat down at the gambling table, but during the gambling session for some reason begins to violate their own risk management. I think that this is a matter of excitement, which can suppress rational thinking.

Most gamblers are aware of the rules of gambling before gambling and are able to control themselves. But the mentality of the gambling table is completely different. We all know that the chances of winning in gambling are very low, yet we never want to lose in gambling and try to be aware. But the greed of money at the gambling table forces us to violate our boundaries. For a person who can ignore the compulsion to violate boundaries at the gambling table and conduct himself with control, there may be a possibility of doing some good in gambling. Otherwise, if you find yourself uncontrolled with temptation, you may be about to lose everything.

1. Set your Limits

It is very important for you as a gambler to set a limited time for yourself, you need to know when to stop and when to start, some set of people gamble from morning till evening which is very bad, one needs to set his limited time.
One also needs to set a budget and stick to it, for example one can say for today I'm only using $50 or $100 to gamble as soon as that your budget is exhausted you stop for the day it prevents you from spending too much

2. Avoid Chasing your Losses

This one is very important, avoid trying to win back the money you have lost, if you want to recover all the money you have lost you will keep losing and that will lead you to depression, so forget about your lose and move forward it will help you to relax with an open mind.

3. Gamble for Entertainment, Not Income.

I know everyone that is into gambling has one reason for joining gambling and that is to make money however do it as a form of entertaining your self, just like people that dance, musicians and footballers they do it to entertain there self and others and still make money out of it so use that Same ideology don't rely on gambling to solve your financial issues.

4. Avoid alcohol, drugs and emotion.

In other to succeed when it comes to gambling you need to avoid alcohol, drugs and emotions when trying to predict a game because these things can impair judgement.

Finally you need to ask yourself some questions frequently:
A. Is gambling affecting my relationships, work, or finances?
B. I'm I spending more money or time than I planned?
C. I'm I gambling to escape problems or stress?
D. I'm I enjoying gambling.
This question should run through our minds frequently because it will help us know what we are really doing and keep us in check.
I think very important tips have been shared here. If a gambler can gamble by following all these tips, then he must be gambling responsibly. Every person should gamble responsibly. Those who cannot gamble responsibly always devote themselves to gambling platforms, spend a lot of money and consider gambling as the main means of earning money, they become addicted to gambling. Gambling addiction is such a terrible addiction that can completely destroy a person and can help him do any heinous act. We have been constantly seeing people addicted to gambling constantly doing heinous acts which are taking a terrible form for the country, society and family. Therefore, every person should gamble responsibly and follow the tips made by OP for gambling responsibly. Moreover, a specific budget like 1%-5% of the income should be used for gambling, it cannot be exceeded and gambling should always be used for fun.  Always remember that gambling is not for making money, gambling is just for entertainment.

Indeed setting a limit and sticking to it shows discipline but a lot of gamblers are not able to do this because they get tempted to chase high rewards or chase their losses. This could make them break the limit they have made for themselves. One way to ensure that your losses are minimized is by using the risk management system, this is what controls or mitigate your losses. Just like you said people lose their money because they get tempted to gamble continually forgetting that they cannot always be lucky in gambling. No matter how enormous you think your bankroll might be if you don't set a limit you'll end up losing everything.
That is what we must do to become a responsible gamblers and not get tempted easily from the promotion. We control ourselves so we must know what the anticipation that we can do to prevents the tempting becomes big. None of us can say that we can view addiction withdrawals as an easy task, and not only gambling addictions alone but all other kind of addiction is hard to fight because at some point you can become helpless and vunorable, it's quite easier to protect yourself from getting into addiction in the first place than fighting to get out it, and that is the reason we have always advocate that gamblers should avoid getting addicted and also avoid greed which is one of the factors that draw one into addiction faster than any other.
Some people who don't have knowledge about addiction and even have experience can just say it was easy to get out, but those who are in the box struggle to fight because of temptation. That is indeed and as much as possible, we don't let ourselves get hooked up into such a situation.
It is very important we know the consequences of getting into gambling and set limits (time and money). Having done this consistently doesn't just put us at higher chances of getting addicted but also is a way to control our spending.

Indeed, if you are already in a situation it's difficult to control your emotions that's how important setting up your limitation and make sure to follow whatever it is that you setup for your own sake, there are gamblers who can quickly stop as base from their experienced if they allow themselves to continue they'll fall into temptation and they'll surely lose a lot, an amount that they are unwilling to let go.

You can become addicted by compulsively engaging yourself in gambling to earn money which you naturally cannot easily give up because your goal is to make money. To fight against your mind, you should refrain from the goal of making money and engage in alternative income because there is almost no chance to maximum win through gambling.
You are right that it can be easier to stop yourself from getting involved in the addiction than to get rid of the addiction. The easiest way for you is to reduce the goal of earning money through gambling and stop yourself from being greedy. The most important thing is to consider gambling as a means of entertainment and allocate limited money and time.

I think gambling with the aim of earning money is already a situation where someone is already quite addicted, maybe it's just a matter of time before they finally reach a chronic level of addiction which will likely have even greater negative impacts. On the other hand, however, gambling with the aim of earning money will never work because literally gambling is not a place to earn, you need to know about which is worthy to be used as a place to earn income and which is not, I understand that gambling provides a chance to win for anyone but however it will never work because there is no certainty and guarantee that you will win and also on the other hand when you lose it means you lose money.

Yeah, they already hook into it and most of the time their emotion dominates them, it's a tough call for those gamblers who have this kind of feelings when they are inside gambling, aiming to win decent amount of money and then getting greedy to what they've got and push for more ending up losing everything including their deposit.

Addictions are the main cause of this mental disorder because it is only when a gambler is addicted that he may not be able to control anything regarding his gambling and how he handles things's also, for someone who is not addicted, it is easy to quit chasing your loses, but for an addict he will chase everything till he heat the rock

Fighting addiction in anyway is never a easy one it take time for one to be able to fight that urge , but some folks kept feeding that addiction more , gambling is not bad , but it can only be harmful depending on the way one approach it , there are some that just do it for fun and they can easy control themselves from going beyond their budgets, in the name of trying to make a bigger win ( all because of greed).

That's why I keep telling newbies to always mind their mindset concerning gambling so that they won't endup getting themselves addicted with such wrong mindset of taken gambling as a means of earning or taken it as get rich quick scheme, like something they can use to get rich over night just by staking some certain amount of money in their gambling account.

Who has no limits, they will lose money, this must always be applied to those who do not understand how important the limits in gambling, they should see examples of how gamblers often achieve bad things because they do not have limits on gambling, in limits This is not only about money but gambling time also needs to be limited to Agra self -control is far more optimal, people if too long in the trigger will be more confused and frantic with the atmosphere, then from the restriction of time is also very important to be safe.
Yes, those who do not have set limits are likely to lose money and they can also lose their minds when gambling because without set limits it can make them addicted to gambling and gamble blindly without thinking that this is an activity that involves luck so no matter how hard they try it will not guarantee them to be able to win at gambling.

Those who are wise certainly have discipline in the gambling they do, whether it is from the finances they allocate or the time they use to gamble, but what is clear is that there must be a time limit in gambling and even if gambling still lasts within the specified time, it is better to stop gambling because the length of time gambling can provoke our emotions and our feelings become more on things that endanger ourselves.

They must be able to learn from their own behavior with previous gambling, with that they may be able to minimize their behavior or limit it so as not to be excessive in gambling in the future, although losses in gambling cannot be avoided but it can be minimized by our own behavior that determines it.

At the same time, I think that many gamblers who had good control may have cases when they will turn into problem gamblers in one gaming session. And I think that this happens when the chances of winning were very close, for example, when someone won a large sum but continued to play and lost it all. Or in betting: if a guy got all the outcomes correct except for the last one. These are offensive cases and their insidiousness is that they are imprinted in the memory for a long time, and only a specialist can help get rid of sad memories of them.
This could happen, with those who have good control, there may be times when the gambling they do makes them lose self-control until the purpose of gambling changes to chasing victory which makes them forget the limits or discipline that is done. Saying the chances of winning are very slim in my opinion is clear and even no one can change it, including those who are said to be professional in gambling does not mean that their chances of winning are greater than the chances of losing. And usually those who cannot accept themselves experiencing defeat will be haunted by the desire to reverse the situation, even this can allow them to survive in the long term if they still do not accept the reality that they have experienced defeat from the gambling they do. Well, their inability to accept themselves experiencing defeat is one of the irresponsible behaviors, because basically they have to be able to accept themselves who experience defeat.

This is easy to say, but hard to do I believe this is really real like that because I experienced it myself and it would be too hypocritical if I didn't admit it, but the good thing is that it made me get an incident that slapped me and I could be aware of being better in the future by always being steadfast in discipline and yes now I'm like that gambling with discipline, honestly this makes me in a good state in terms of finances, physical health or mental.

With the incident that I experienced made me think, maybe everyone who gambles must experience an incident that can slap them first to be able to establish discipline in gambling, even though it doesn't have to be like that. Because by seeing the many cases that have occurred we should be able to learn from it and not do the same thing.

You're right, this is very common among gamblers the habit to keep chasing after losses, and most time chasing after losses doesn't actually ends well to most gamblers.

Either they endup losing all their funds or they endup with a some little wins after countless losses during the process of their losses chased, it usually takes discipline to avoid such (one running after losses).

Chasing losses will end up badly if the gambler won't stop himself from this activity even if his funds is quite large. Because once you deplete your allocated budget for this activity, you will continue to replenish the funds from somewhere (other sources) even if the funds are for other aspect of your living. It is hard to be strict with yourself but you need to start observing the possible repercussions of your actions.

That is the source of all bad things that continues to happen once a gambler starts chasing his losses and not doing at all analyses of what and why he made the wrong choices of continuing to chase the lost money. If one sits down cold headed and thinks what could have be done better and what went worse, post analysis as they call it at our jobs this would be a nice thing to do for anyone feeling lonely and lost in such regard.
Whenever a gambler decides to chase his loss, he loses focus and at the same time becomes emotional about his betting pattern and because of that, he may tend to lose more, so the best thing to do is to have a self-limit management and try not to exceed that limit regardless of Which direction your bets are heading.

Addictions are the main cause of this mental disorder because it is only when a gambler is addicted that he may not be able to control anything regarding his gambling and how he handles things's also, for someone who is not addicted, it is easy to quit chasing your loses, but for an addict he will chase everything till he heat the rock.
