I never heard that it has some restaurant in my country which is so sad at the moment but I am looking forward that soon there will be lot people that will patronize bitcoin and use transactions.
Same as you it is sad to think that there is no restaurant in my country that accept bitcoin as payment. It is advantage if there will be a restaurant will accept bitcoin because it is convinient even though you do not bring your wallet and as long as your phone is with you, you could pay them.

I'm living in Vietnam and after long time to wait finally there is one restaurant in my country accept Bitcoin and some other altcoins like ETH, XMR for payment ) I'm very excited when I can find it out in my country cause I think that Bitcoin is not legalized in my country so it's impossible to find out a shop or restaurant that accept Bitcoin in my country but I'm wrong, I found it

I was disappointed that this is only in the US but I hope that one of my countryman will have a concept like this. So it's easy for me to pay in a restaurant, that I don't have to worry to bring my physical money. Or maybe someday if I have the money and skills I'll try a business like this in my own. And by that time bitcoin is known in my country.
I think this situation goes two ways.
1) Bitcoin being accepted in restaurants will help the latter attract more customers because of its payment flexibility which can process all money transactions with the use of smartphones. I believe this a very wise way of enticing customers especially with the likes of tech savvy or what they refer to as the millenials.
2) In a way, it also adds to the popularity of Bitcoins!

I paid once in btc in a restaurant from Spain. There arent many that accept though, I have seen only like 4 or 5.
