that is a nice site. I see they offer map to the restaurants, and there are some names of cities where the restaurants are there. but sadly there is no country of Asia on the list. I hope someday there will be Asia on the list.

lots of european countries heavily accept Bitcoin, and I guess most restaurants accept too, specially among countries like Netherlands, but I don`t know if there is a similar map for the Europe
Yes I will be loving to pay my restaurant bills in bitcoins, but not sure that http://bitcoinrestaurants.net will be covering my country too. I already had experience paying my restaurant bills in bitcoins by the end of 2013, but for unknown reasons they had removed the paying with bitcoin options.

It's always great to see bitcoin accepted in more store or places and the fact that there area a lot of restaurants accepting bitcoin make me happy, with the right publicity bitcoin can be really famous and there will be more and more restaurants follow to adapting bitcoin, but I still concern about the transaction speed
although there is not a single shop or resurgent who accept bitcoin but hope that a time will be come when  we will also be able visit a restaurant and pay the bell in bitcoin.

I have tried Coupa Cafe in the Palo Alto, California when I was on a business trip. It's one of the best places to have food as well as to do a fast transaction using Bitcoins. Unfortunately, there are very fewer Restaurants in my home country but businesses are recognizing it now.  Smiley

How about the Philippines? Only 7 merchants that are listed when you google it. That is sad. Where are the other merchants? They should be expanding their businesses here. Many bitcoin users aee also here. A restaurant would be good cause we love food here.
Unfortunately the one who have a lot of meechants are just those strong countries.

indeed they have 95 restaurants accept bitcoin but this is only available for US and i never try this one but i remember that several years ago there is a restaurant in my country accepting bitcoin but i don't know still exist or already closed and because the location was very far from my city so i never try it
yes in developed modern countries the facilities of bitcoin are more than backward area, in my area we do have a single shop where we can use bitcoin for shopping, actually in my area most of the people do not have any idea about bitcoin, ans as most of the shopkeepers are not properly educated therefore they do not know even about computer and internet. i think in my area it wills still take a long time when people will start using bitcoin.

It would be very nice to take a trip outside without a massive wallet in your pocket and with just your mobile phone then you would be hungry and think of a place to eat and would pay using your hard earn bitcoin, that is certainly great and I think in the U.S. there are a lot of restaurants that are accepting bitcoin so sad that my country does not have even 1 restaurant that accepts bitcoin!

Yeah its good see lots of resturant accepting bitcoins as a payment but I expect any resturant in my country should accept it or world wide fooders like KFC. McD and etc. Then it would be more comfortable for us.
it would be nice if this service will be available in every countries which cater bitcoin, as we seen its only U.S but surely we will be able to see more and more countries to adopt this system we just need to have apps that easily detect bitcoin price so even if price drops or rises up it will not affect the price of certain products/services.

It would be nice if you mentioned in your title and/or description that this was only for USA. Otherwise, looks great Smiley Cheers.

Yes he should do that, there is nothing even close to me but I take a look at the site anyway. This is a real step forward for people who use bitcoins in US, we can just envy and wait for that to come closer to use one day.
Guys have a nice meal and enjoy in food paid with bitcoins.

I have been in one of them accepting BTC. When it was time to pay, the guy was not able to find his adress, he searched for it for like 30 minutes everywhere...
He told me he never used it it and i was one the first one who wanted to pay with bitcoin. Then we started to talk about bitcoin, he told me he was really confused about it, didn't get really guided. He wanted to accept because as he said: why not ? if i can get new customers, as long i can convert to €, i don't care

There's only a list of restaurants in America. Not surprising that most restaurants are in California Smiley California is always ahead in terms of technological innovations.

We have a street with restaurants on all sides, and we are working on converting them to accept Bitcoin, one at a time. The goal being to have a

street full of restaurants accepting Bitcoin. We started with our local pub, and then moved onto it's neighbours. Word of mouth actually worked

in our favour, because some restaurants in that street, saw the Bitcoin accepted here sticker on the window of other restaurants and when we got

there, they already spoke to the other restaurant owners who accepted Bitcoin.  Grin

I've heard of a network of restaurants in Holland accepting bitcoins. This happened a few years ago, and when it happened, there was a lot of hype and it was probably one of the reasons that made Bitcoin's price increase a lot at that time.
Yeah, me too. I read about the Den Haag (the Hague) Bitcoin boulevard where you could spend Bitcoins everywhere!
It sounded great until I got there, and couldn't find anywhere that accepted Bitcoin!

It turned out that one vegetarian restaurant that wasn't open every day accepted Bitcoin, so we went there on our 2nd evening, but a Bitcoin haven it was not!

Berlin wasn't much better (another Bitcoin haven), though I have managed to buy food there using Bitcoin.

I don't see any restaurant in my country accepting BTC so good for the US citizen. California businesses are more open to using bitcoin. Businesses should really be into bitcoin and I think the website developer should introduce the use of bitcoin to the rest so they can start accepting BTC too. If business are going online where clients can order their product via filling p a form, a Bitcoin or any other alt payment can at least be added as option sort for standard for crypto users.
