I'm more for freedom of religion, then banning things off of private property, but this story shows how someone chose to celebrate the Christmas season (which isn't even Christian)....of course Christians believe Jesus rose again and is now living in His glory in Heaven, and zombies are based off of dead people coming back to life with no soul, hence the zombie joke.

Spectacular moon and Venus December 7!
Venus is going behind the moon today, when it comes out on the other side, it will look like the symbol the crescent moon and star:
Perhaps take a look if it's not cloudy. I don't know if Venus will be visible to the naked eye in the sunlight though. We'll see.
There's going to be a live stream of the occulting here: MOON TV LIVE - REMINDER - VENUS TRANSIT LIVE and Waning Crescent Moon 1080p But they had some clouds covering it up earlier, so I don't know if it will clear up or not.

But not so fast. It may be true that these guns were purchased legally, but they were not used legally and in fact, they were modified in violation of the California firearms laws, says the ATF.
While they were originally sold legally, with magazine locking devices commonly known as bullet buttons, the rifles were subsequently altered in different ways to make them more powerful, according to Meredith Davis, a special agent with the ATF.
The Smith & Wesson rifle was changed in an attempt to enable it fire infully automatic mode, while the DPMS weapon was modified to use alarge-capacity magazine, she said.
Those alterations made the weapons unlawful under California’s ban on assault weapons, which bans guns with magazines that can detach for quick reloading.
The state legally allows the sale and ownership of assault weapons that have fixed magazines.

Teen who was allergic to WiFi commits suicide: mom
"The family of a 15-year-old girl who hanged herself from a tree says the teen was driven to suicide by an allergy to something that is nearly inescapable in our modern world — Wi-Fi.
Jenny Fry, 15, suffered from an acute case of electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome, which causes blinding headaches and nausea when victims come in contact with the kind of EM fields created by wireless hot spots, according to the Daily Mirror.
“Jenny was getting ill and so was I,” her mother, Debra Fry, told a court inquest in their home town of Chadlington, England. “I did some research and found how dangerous Wi-Fi could be so I had it taken out of the house.”
Fry says the problem was especially bad at school, where many of the classrooms had their own Wi-Fi, explaining the torment drove her daughter to skip class and act out.
The mom told the court she had pleaded with her daughter’s teachers to allow her to work in rooms without Wi-Fi, but the school refused.
“The least they could do was allow her to take [classes] in rooms where she felt able to concentrate, but they wouldn’t listen,” Debra Fry said.
Fry’s body was found hanged in a tree near her home in the county of Oxfordshire this past June.
“I fully believe Jenny did not intend to take her own life,” her mom said.
At the inquest on Nov. 19, the coroner said he could not conclusively say the young teen meant to kill herself. He did not attribute her death to electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome either, as there are no medical documents to prove it, according to the Oxford Mail.
Fry left a suicide note.
“I am insignificant, an insignificant number on someone’s screen and so is my life, a tiny blip in the whole existence of the universe,” she wrote. “And I find it hard to be hopeful when I can hardly enjoy anything anymore.”
Since her death over the summer, Fry’s parents have started raising awareness about EHS and the supposed dangers of Wi-Fi.
“I am not against a bit of technology, but I do feel schools should be aware that some children are going to be sensitive to it and reduce its use,” Debra told the Daily Mirror.
The World Health Organization says EHS symptoms — which include headaches, nausea, fatigue and rashes — are real, though several studies conducted so far have been unable to conclusively link them to Wi-Fi. "

Fry’s body was found hanged in a tree near her home in the county of Oxfordshire this past June.
“I fully believe Jenny did not intend to take her own life,” her mom said.
At the inquest on Nov. 19, the coroner said he could not conclusively say the young teen meant to kill herself. He did not attribute her death to electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome either, as there are no medical documents to prove it, according to the Oxford Mail.
Fry left a suicide note.
“I am insignificant, an insignificant number on someone’s screen and so is my life, a tiny blip in the whole existence of the universe,” she wrote. “And I find it hard to be hopeful when I can hardly enjoy anything anymore.”
Since her death over the summer, Fry’s parents have started raising awareness about EHS and the supposed dangers of Wi-Fi.
“I am not against a bit of technology, but I do feel schools should be aware that some children are going to be sensitive to it and reduce its use,” Debra told the Daily Mirror.
The World Health Organization says EHS symptoms — which include headaches, nausea, fatigue and rashes — are real, though several studies conducted so far have been unable to conclusively link them to Wi-Fi. "

Why Have There Been More Mass Shootings Under Obama than the Four Previous Presidents Combined?

If the 24-hour news cycle was any indication, Americans appear to be bouncing from one catastrophic mass shooting to the next, with hardly any breathing room. Like this is just a regular occurrence America has learned to endure because… guns. It’s the prevalence of firearms in the hands of the people, the anti-gunners say. Calls to limit, rewrite, redefine, or outright dispose of the 2nd Amendment are rampant.
But no one is looking at the data. If they did, they would realize something is really, really, really wrong here.
No, there haven’t always been so many mass shootings. It hasn’t always been this way. Mass shootings have skyrocketed in this country just in the last seven years under President Obama.
The following was compiled using the database over at Mother Jones on mass shootings in the U.S. from 1982—2015, up to and including the shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon on October 1st, 2015. It also includes the Wikipedia lists for mass shootings in the United States by year and postal killings in the U.S.
The following analysis considers the FBI’s definition of a mass murder, which is defined as “a number of murders (four or more) occurring during the same incident, with no distinctive time period between the murders”.
When all incidents where four or more people were shot in a single event are broken out by president going back to Reagan (considering the database only stretches back to 1982), there just so happens to have been a startling increase in mass shootings since Obama, the most pro-gun control president America has had in modern history, took office.
Mass Shootings under the Last Five Presidents
Ronald Reagan: 1981-1989 (8 years) 11 mass shootings
Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 5
George H. W. Bush: 1989-1993 (4 years) 12 mass murders
Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 3
Bill Clinton: 1993-2001 (8 years) 23 mass murders
Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 4
George W. Bush: 2001-2009 (8 years) 20 mass murders
Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 5
Barrack H. Obama: 2009-2015 (in 7th year) 162 mass murders
Incidents with 8 or more deaths = 18

Obviously this isn’t so easily simplified as more guns in the hands of more crazy people, the way the media likes to spin it. We have more gun laws now than ever before. Less types of guns are legally available to the average citizen than ever before. We also have more “gun-free zones,” zones where, just by the way, most of these shootings happen (because mass shooters do not follow laws or care about zones, obviously). So that’s not it....."
