Rich people gamble only to entertain themselves. Whereas a poor person gambles in order to make some extra money from it. For them gambling is like taking huge risk on their hard earned money. Whereas a rich person doesn’t care about the outcomes and gambles. There is no need of comparison. The poor people always take the highest risk in order to make some extra money. So yes poor people always risk their money more.
No matter the big amount of a rich person uses to bet on a game, it is not  considered a risk because they can lose that have it wouldn't even be 1% of their income. For poor people gambling itself is a risk. They risk their money, a huge portion of their income. The poor shouldn't even risk more than they can afford to lose likewise the rich.

Gambling an activity for fun also has the chance to turn someone's fortune. Calculated risk when taken in gambling can be the way to big wins from gambling. Who do you think should take more risk in gambling? The rich gambler or the gambler who is not yet rich. If a rich gambler takes risks in gambling, they are risking losing money and becoming poor from gambling, or getting richer, when a gambler who is not yet rich gambles, they can also get poorer or richer, so the gambler who should take the risk should be the gambler who can handle the dangers of the risk like losing too. When a rich gambler loses from taking a risk, there is a better chance of them being in a position to manage with the losses, than someone struggling financially who a big loss will really affect. So, I am confused after asking myself this question and answering it, does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?
Gambling is same risk for everyone no matter who poor or who rich. Because of this gambling should always be used as fun. If you think that poor people should take more risk because if they win then they will win big and become rich. Then it will never be fun it will be gambling for income.  One who makes such a plan will become addicted to gambling and suffer a lot. So I can't support the op's plan. no one should take high gambling risk no matter he is rich or poor

Depends on the budget. You know rich people have a budget too. They will not keep themselves rich if they are just going to throw away money anytime they want.
The poor on the other hand should have the same plan when it comes to gambling. They must only use what they can afford to lose.
Who will risk more? None. As I said, the rich will not be richer through gambling. The poor have a chance of being homeless if he will not control his gambling habits.
I don't think we should talk about the poor life-changing means through gambling. It's just wrong and it might urge more poor people to gamble their way until they are ready.
There's a very low chance for poor people to change their lives through that and the gambling sites are not running a charity. It is a business so the house winning has a higher chance than us, rich or poor. I am one of those poor people and even if I have bills to pay, mortgage, and other stuff that depletes my monthly salary, I won't risk any large amount in gambling just to tell myself that it could change my life.
It can't. One mistake and we will probably end up giving ourselves more problems and being in that position is so dark that it will stress us out.

Being aware of your financial situation will determine how big and small the risks you will take.
Big risks will have the opportunity to win according to the amount of money wagered. The small amount of money wagered means you can get a big win according to the bet amount.

When the money owned is not large enough to expect large winnings, it is impossible for poor gamblers to dare to take big risks. They will calculate the duration of play while observing how much luck they have in the gambling they are playing.
There is no other way to change luck other than by playing with full awareness of the situations and conditions experienced by gamblers with small capital. I don't call them poor gamblers because gambling is not a place to get rich.

Poor gamblers? It should not be done right, what about their finances for expenses during their lives if it is more difficult then there is no need to gamble, never think gambling can change everything, this is just a game that must be made fun.
This is what most gamblers will find difficult to believe until they are re losing. Some people will never learn a lesson that gambling is not for money making until when they are using it to look for money but instead they are losing. If someone is rich or not rich, this does not change the fact that the person should gamble responsibly. Gambling can turn a rich person to a poor person while a poor person to a poorer person if they are using it to look for money.

One of the mistakes some gamblers make is focusing on the money to be won without considering the risks involved. A poor man has no business competing with the rich on how much he should risk or not, rather he should gamble within his capacity.  A poor man who can barely afford the pleasant things of life will always involve his emotions whenever he is gambling and might even fall into depression if he loses the little he has to gambling, this is not healthy for any gambler.

A poor gambler who constantly motivates himself that he will definitely liberate himself from poverty through gambling will only be making himself more miserable. A rich gambler can stake very huge amounts and not feel the impact at all. I am not interested in the amount to be won, I am only concerned about the impact of any gambling action on a said gambler. A poor gambler can actually be made rich through gambling,  but this doesn't happen all the time,  hence the need to be very careful.

Both are risking money, but being poor and risking a lot of money in gambling is an obvious sign of being an irresponsible gambler. Rich people doesn't go broke in an instant, though they might make huge losses, but they are able to generate huge income as well, so they can be fine after a huge loss as long as they are in control of it. However, for a poor person, risking even half of his monthly pay check could put him in a hell of a financial situation.
Hoping for a fortune in gambling is a trap. One should not aim for it, but keep everything at minimum and just enjoy the game. This mindset should keep poor gamblers keep themselves away from worst financial trouble.

does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?
No bets are safe in gambling though, but just like what I've said above, keeping it at a minimum can keep a poor gambler away from becoming even broke.
You win some you lose some, that's just how gambling works. You can't t expect big wins, with small bets, sometimes it will, but the chances are too little to non.

Only a handful of people can get rich from gambling, but when rich people gamble they have a lot of money reserves of course by risking more than the risk, the chances of winning are definitely there, it's just that this is never guessed and don't expect more because taking risks will become rich.

Poor gamblers? It should not be done right, what about their finances for expenses during their lives if it is more difficult then there is no need to gamble, never think gambling can change everything, this is just a game that must be made fun.

I don't want to take a bigger risk, so I will make a smaller percentage, maybe 5% or 10% is big enough.

Your posts contradict themselves. At first, you said gambling is for entertainment, yet you presented gambling like it changes people's lives with fortune. Sometimes it does, but the odds are very low. I never suggest anyone expect big wins from gambling because it will force them to play more and more which we don't want.

What is the percentage of people who have won life-changing amounts by gambling? Compared to this, what is the percentage of people who have lost that much that their life was changed? Less than one percent of people won the amount which has changed their life. Compared to this, you will find at least 20% of people who have lost a significant amounts by gambling. Don't expect too much from gambling.

I will never dare to say that gambling is a step to achieve wealth because most of us are not ready and do not dare to take risks that are too big.
But for those who dare to take risks also not necessarily gambling can provide wealth because of their more luck.
Gambling should be run in accordance with the ability to be responsible because no one will be ready to lose a lot of money in an uncertain risk bet. If you mean to take the risk of being able to provide wealth, why gambling is a place that we want to discuss even though there are other ways out there that are far more acceptable by most people.

The risk of losing money is high in gambling. The rich can afford to lose money as they won't get poor by gambling in just one day. The poor can get poorer and eventually try illegal activities to gamble again. I don't think gambling is good for someone who has less money to survive in this world.

According to OP's theory both rich and poor are the same and they both can become poor through gambling. Whereas in the real world, a rich would have multiple earning sources and he would gamble for entertainment. A poor would have a single earning source and he would gamble to become rich. They both are different socially and there is no comparison between them.

Who do you think should take more risk in gambling?
The person with a big risk appetite and certainly that person cannot be a newbie. We shouldn't judge this by who has the most money, by age group, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation but based on the risk appetite of the individual which is seen in their risk management strategies. Your networth doesn't determine your risk appetite because you may have been lucky to be a trust fund baby or your the family estate. Risk appetite comes as a result of years of experience at gambling, sales, or doing business or something that unleashes it.

The level of risk an individual is expected to take in gambler will be dependent on his financial status so both the rich and the poor are taking risk but of different degrees.  In reality, what the rich is gambling with might actually be what the poor target to win, how then do we make comparison as to who should risk more.

Everyone is risking what they can afford to lose except for the addicts that go beyond their limits.

The poor shouldn't gamble in the first place, they should accumulate as much as possible to build their wealth. If they're keep gamble, that's the reason why they're still poor. Remember, gamble using free bet or faucet isn't gambling since you're risking for nothing.

So it's the rich that should risk more, they have larger money, means they can gamble mores.

Proportionately both risk losing their money. Of course "gambling" without money include no earning or just "penny earning" Roll Eyes
Who should risk more? No one! Having "courage" take the "risk" these are all terms that must not be used in gambling since it simply increases the possibility of losing money exponentially.

When someone should gamble should be when he has an income that is capable to financially have a good family and using just little part of the savings like 5% of his weekly income to gamble. We have said this countless number of times. If you are not receiving enough income, do not gamble. If you are an average, use just 1 to 5% and not more than 5% of your weekly income to gamble. If you are rich, also use 1 to 3% for gambling. But if I am rich, I can not use up to 5% of my weekly income to gamble, I will reduce it. In gambling, if you have the money to spare for it weekly which you can afford to lose, let it be in percentage. If you are rich, better not to use more than 1% to gamble.
