The best time to buy is while everybody is panic selling their coins. We see these when market corrections. You should follow and buy then. For example if you bought altcoins yesterday while people panicking, you could get %15-20 returns overnight.
I dont think people will panic in selling their altcoin now, all the coin in its dip and no one would sell it less than what it value.

if the price of other altcoin are dropping, it is the right time to buy cheap altcoins, small value but if you combine this token you can get a profitable amount on the future. Etheruem are on the top 3 altcoins but its a low amount, but i think these altcoin will go pump after couple of months/years.
I think right now we have a main crash of all altcoins today and I am going to suspect this will continue for the rest of 2018. I guess we can just hold for the meantime. Though I also observed that altcoins under the ethereum ecosystem are somewhat unaffected by bitcoins rise. Maybe because ETH has its own legions of supporters.
As the bitcoin's price is stabilizing, I think it is the best time to buy some popular altcoins because at the time that bitcoin achieves its stable price, then altcoins will regain their value or even go higher that they normally worth.
i didnt really see that bitcoins price is stabilizing and it wont really happen due the fact that bitcoin is highly volatile. the price of bitcoin and altcoin are totatlly different or independent and they are not tied to each other. bitcoins dont hold the future price of altcoins and altcoins dont dictate the value of bitcoin (vice versa ) . overall the right time to buy altcoins is when they on the dip a.k.a buy low sell high is the best method to follow and will possibly work all the time though you can opt and wait even more further for their value to drop because altcoins usually drop hard based on my own observations.
I think there's more to the real rise of altcoin coin's. I wait for a main fall as well.
I would wait a little while before purchasing Altcoins because the price of Bitcoin is moving too fast to due a proper analysis on the price per Altcoin.
I am not buying at this pump. It seems like everything is raising without any solid news other thank BTC is in ATH territory. Once it retracts it will pull the entire market with it. So keep your Blockfolio open every day and pick a day when everything is bloddy red. Then wait a few days and that should be a good time to fill your bags.
For me some alts which now has top positions will have at least one big down till the end of 2018 so just invest after it.
we are in december and altcoins have increased lately. they seem well while bitcoin rises as well. if i want to invest on altcoin, i think the time is good but this is not an advice ofcourse. you need to check the market trends.

On my opinion,Yes. It is good to buy when alts is falling specially those top alt coins since even if they fall we can make sure that they will pump again. For you to make sure for a profit just buy only on potential alts but if you want to take risk then you can even buy other alts you think good investment for the future.

For me the perfect time to invest or buy an altcoin is when the price of bitcoin high. Because im sure if that happen means the price of altcoin are bleeding. But be careful on what altcoin you are going to buy. Because not all of the altcoin has a potential to recover from a fall down. You should be observable and wise on choosing.

Before you buy alts know first if the alts your are buying have the potential to grow in the future. Some alts are good at first but as the time pass their value are dropping. So choose wisely.
if the price has gone down and matches with what you want better just bought it before the price goes up again. because the price changes very quickly then take advantage of these opportunities well

Price drop is always a perfect call to buy altcoins. This is the time when altcoin's prices are really offered with large discounts. I usually envy others who have a lot of Bitcoin in their portfolio. They are the ones who are usually very lucky when altcoins are getting cheaper. Mine is made up mostly of altcoins and if they are at a low point I cannot help but wait for them to rise back. I will be storing more and more BTC for moments like these.
