Yep it is signnificant when you participate in some bounty campaign. As the profile rank will give you lots of stakes for example Legendary, Hero. From Member to above ( Members can have links with text no photos.) . That's a bonus .

Your rank really matter most base on the little experience I had. Really, I haven’t participated in any bounty signature but i’ve Seen their stakes on spreadsheets and observe the higher the rank the higher the stakes

To earn a great income in Bitcointalk we must have a high ranking because if our rank is low then our income is also low so the role of ranking in the forum is very important.

Does bitcointalk Forum rank really matter 's for signature bounty campaigns and what are the links between "Merits" and "bitcointalk forum rank" ?

Yes it is. There is direct dependency between your forum rank and you reward from the signature bounty campaigns. Hero members gain in one week stakes equal to 3.5 weeks for junior member. So the reward will be x3.5.
Before this year the only thing that could up your rank was activity - if you write more than 14 posts every two weeks you will gain higher rank in some time.
But now we have merits - kinda likes. You can send and receive merits. But you cant send as much as you receive - 2 merits to you generate 1 merit that you can send to others.

Complex system. In two words - forget about getting higher rank on this forum. We all will have this ranks forever Smiley

This is exactly what I hate about this merit. Merit to me is now in favour of the elites in this forum. Like you rightly said, rank was done by your activity which makes it easy to rank higher but since the introduction of merit, I think some junior members rank will remain stagnant till thy kingdom comes...

Does bitcointalk Forum rank really matter 's for signature bounty campaigns and what are the links between "Merits" and "bitcointalk forum rank" ?

You need a specific number of posts to get to a higher rank. The max number of posts counted is limited to 14 in 2 weeks I think. The merit system was introduced more recently and is supposed to be kind of a rewards system but it has pretty much closed down access to higher ranks as most people dont even know how the merit system works and so dont give any merit to other members.

The higher the rank of the bitcoin profile, the higher the trust people will have on what you post in the bitcoin forums . The bounty managers pay more tokens to the ones with higher bitcoin profile status.
Exactly! But one will wonder if the OP didn't bother to read through forum sticky messages before now even as his rank is well passed Newbie. But in case they didn't acquaint themselves with that, I will leave them links to some stickies: The Merit Requirement as Explained by Theymos and Forum Ranks and Positions

Well from what I've observed so far on the forum, the amount of  stakes you get from a signature campaign is significant to your rank. A hero member will get almost 3X what you'll get in a week if not more. And about the merits I think it's needed for you to rank

Hey, buddy, look:
1) Your stakes and consequently your potential reward depends on your forum rank if it's signature campaign.
2) To get new "bitcointalk forum rank" you should have certain "Merit" number.

If you want more earning by signature you should  have higer rank. And for me it is really matter. We all know it's more difficult to raising up rank, Jr. Member and Above since Merit System in add.

To get Higher Rank than Jr. Member, need 10 merit and 60 Activity ( Member )

Most bounty campaigns only allow ranks from Jr. Member to Legendary to participate in their signature campaign, while there are some that only allow Full Members upward to participate, which is where the need for merit and rank comes into play. If you do not have enough merits to get you up that rank, you might be limited.

Does bitcointalk Forum rank really matter 's for signature bounty campaigns and what are the links between "Merits" and "bitcointalk forum rank" ?

Of course it matters. If you check any of signature campaings you can see that the number of stakes for each rand doubles. So it's really matters a lot, but it's almost imposible to get new rank on the forum since the merit system was implemented.
