I always thought got 1-1,5% from the total of my wagering, I don't use calculation from house edge ~LOL. In total 10,000$ my wagering always got 10-15$ in same on every casino so always use this calculation.
Honestly I'm really curious of the nature how casinos are calculating the
rakeback for example, 10% of the wager amount. Before, I always thought that it is what it is, like if I wager a total of $100, I will get 10%
cashback, amounting of $10 usd. But it really seems that is not the case. That's why I'm confused.
First you need to differ between rakeback and cashback because both are different thing and should have different calculation as well.
Rakeback, as pointed out by roycilik previously, it is usually based on the House Edge of the game you play.
I have never seen any casinos offers rakeback based on the wagered amount only (without house edge).
Simple calculation you may use: Your wager*rakeback percentage*house edge.
The most used sentence to inform about rakeback is something like "
you'll receive 10% of the edge"
The higher your wager + the higher the house edge means the higher amount of rakeback you may get.
