As far as we know, Roobet has only been launched in the year 2019. The casino is two (2) decades of old.
Maybe the record from that website (Internet Archive's Way Back Machine), records similar url with the roobet casino, but if it did really existed, I strongly believe that it's not a casino.

wow, didn't know roobet had 20 years of history
that's quite cool, respectable

It doesn't. Please do us all a favor and spend a few seconds reading previous posts before spouting off such nonsense.
I mean, even Bitcoin, the granddaddy of all cryptocurrencies, doesn't have 20 years under its belt, but sure, let's pretend a crypto casino does. Sure, why not.

How is it possible for hackers to break or crack 256-bit Encryption? A 256-bit encrypted message will take a hacker or cracker 2256 different permutations to decipher, which is practically hard for even the fastest computers to do.
Technically, if a user losses his/her account to a hacker the mistake is from the user's end.
Hope you get my point now.
256-bit encryption depends on the algorithm too. They can be cracked when using certain algorithms like SSLv3. Also, no site's security is completely immune to hacker attacks which is why they keep upgrading their protocols all the time.

If sites like Rockstar Games which are way, way bigger than Roobet can get hacked, what makes you think that Roobet can't? Hackers come up with creative ways to penetrate security systems.

Also, the site should definitely be blamed to some extent if a user loses his/her funds to hackers. Think!
Your point is valid, I agree. No website is completely secure from hackers or attackers, but Roobet does a good job of updating its protocol constantly, and users of the casino who pay attention will already be aware of this.
For the record, the site you mentioned appears not to use 256-bit encryption and I believe you considered it to be way bigger than Roobet because it is a casino that has been in operation for 24yrs while Roobet is 20 years.

indeed no website is completely secure but as far as I know there was never any hack or data leak from roobet, right?

Enterapp Pre-Sale Live - bit.ly/3UrMCWI

It's correct that the domain name roobet.com was registered 20 years ago, however, it was owned by a different company or person at that time. We can confirm this by checking historical archived versions of the site, like this snapshot from 2018 which clearly shows that the domain was being offered for sale. Also, there are old posts from absolutely-positioned such as this one, which confirm that he was actively involved in the development of crypto gambling site during that time period. It's possible that some review sites may have mixed up the years the casino was launched, as they only consider the date the domain was registered, but Roobet is definitely NOT a 20-year-old casino.

Yeah it's not that old because they have the campaign running on the forum in 2019 and they might be operational before that time also but not too much and they have gained popularity over these few years only with players engagement and their marketing. But yes I am also sure they have been in casino line from few years not 20 years.
I doubt if someone said they are a casino with a 20 year old age. They should have been famous for now if they are running for that long. I also agree that the long time marketing campaign of them such as signature campaign and art contest made them a well known casino here and I'm sure that many of us played in the casino at least once to try it. If somehow someone is really interested when does roobet started, They can try and ask it on Roobet directly or ask Hhampuz to make the question bridge to the higher ups of Roobet for it to be answered since Hhampuz is I guess the closest to the Roobet team here.

The site that I mentioned(Rockstar Games) isn't a casino. It's an extremely popular video game company responsible for developing titles like GTA V etc.

Anyway, I am just trying to point out that sites will ultimately be blamed at the end of the day regardless of whether their customers use 2FA properly or not. Examples: Attacks on Binance, Kucoin, Ronin Network etc.

Yes, if Hhampuz is managing the giveaway, then there can be nothing wrong.
There's a competition going on regarding roobet on the forum which is being managed by Hhampuz like always, I believe it will be a smooth experience for them to find the right winners(s) of the competition.
When Hhampuz is managing a giveaway? Grin

Are you sure there's an ongoing competition? better to check it yourself since the art contest has been ended few days ago. Few years ago Roobet has launch multiple promotion like slots contest and guess the slot, but now they're not launch it anymore.

I believe that is a different company.
There's no way for any people who have a logic can think it's real.

Roobet is a crypto casino, not online fiat casino while the first cryptocurrency aka Bitcoin exist since 14 years ago Cheesy

Cybersecurity has multifaceted layers, merely acknowledging 256-bit encryption doesn't mean a thing. I remember Roobet once displaying their security as military-grade encryption, but now they have changed that. Military-grade encryption or 256-bit encryption is just a marketing buzzword, in fact, that is the general standard. Cybersecurity also has many layers. Even if they use the most secure technologies but the people themselves are deceived, the point of security has losses. Take a look back at the Mailchimp data breach, the hacker didn't penetrate via brute forcing encryption, instead, they use social engineering.

while Roobet is 20 years.

I believe that is a different company.

It's possible and may not be possible that more judges can be a liability.
I can't access the roobet because I didn't complete my kyc and not planning to do so, at least not yet.
I have more options that I can choose to use without doing kyc and such platforms are- stake, fj, duelbits, and so on.
Have the same case here where I already forgot my Roobet account since they started to ask for a KYC but of course if I given a chance to win on their contest then why not, beside I experienced playing on Roobet before and I can still say that its pretty good. There's a lot of judges for sure, it will come from the Roobet team and Hhampuz itself, I see nothing wrong about the winners on their previous art contest and even the participants are not complaining about the results so I believe we should trust their judgement since its their contest after all.

Maybe I missed a new update, is there anyone know when Roobet has improve their sports bookie? if I'm not mistaken when we click the sports page, we need to click the provider and then we will directed to another page. But now it seems Roobet already find a new provider where the sports bookie section is already integrated with Roobet site. They also offer higher odds for the favorite team/fighter, it's really good thing I've seen Roobet in this new year.
I checked it, and you are right players will no longer be taken to another place when they click on the sports betting section, maybe they have not changed the provider of sports betting they have just fully integrated it so players are no longer taken elsewhere, but have not compared whether roobet odds are more attractive from other sportbooks, from all of them Roobet has finally reached 3 Billion bets after several years of operation
I haven't checked yet, but if it's true that Rooebt has fully integrated it will definitely be great so make bets without having to be transferred to another place, especially if the Odds are higher than other sports betting sites of course it will be a plus to attract new people to Roobet, I'll check again

If the platform allow its customers to set 2fa then it's the customer's fault if he doesn't use it then a hacker get access to his device and steal his passwords. You can't blame the platform for the user's carelessness.
2fa serves as a mean to protect your account against breaches from the user's side. It has nothing to do with the platform's security.
Most users are reckless, this is why I believe such feature must be mandatory, for their own interest.
People should consider to use 2FA in correctly way, if you're install the 2FA on the same device you're used to access the site, it's kill the purpose of 2FA. 2FA need to be installed on different device since you're want to prevent the malicious/malware that infected your device can't know the 2FA code. If it's installed on the same device, they can spy the code and able to access your account.
but sometimes gamblers ignore this and choose quick shortcuts. I mean sometimes gamblers install 2FA on the same device with the excuse that it's faster to copy the code and immediately bet without thinking about security that is vulnerable to being spied on by the malware that already exists on the device.
like I used to use 2FA on one device with which I gambled and in the end I realized that this is a bad habit when I want to secure code but instead I use 1 device which is really very vulnerable to malware.

but actually if we can be careful not to click anything suspicious on our device, chances are it will be safe

There's no need to be upset
everyone has their own choice regarding how to secure their own account. Forcing the users to adhere to the most extensive recommendation of digital security is advisable, but that did not close the possibility of the user leaking their own data due to they did not understand the reasoning behind them. So if the users themselves have better precaution and comprehension about what security features a platform has, they would willingly use it for their own benefit, not because the platform forcing them.

As one of the security precautions, if you try to brute force an account on the Roobet site, you would see this security measure prevention, "Invalid password. Maximum 15 attempts per 5 minutes."
I agree with goldkingcoiner, this isn't some liberal issue where you want freedom of being hacked if you are not careful type of deal, that can't be done, it's just not normal and shouldn't be the issue. I believe that we shouldn't be given that option and 2FA should be forced to players so that it would be safe, otherwise you are just being horrible about the situation.

I agree that not having the freedom to do whatever you want is upsetting for some people, but this is there to protect you and if it's a good intention thing then you should be able to understand why it was done. It's not much work neither, setting it up takes maybe 1 minute max, and it takes extra 15 seconds to login.

there are many tradeoffs like freedom x regulations, security x convenience
the point is choosing where we want to be regarding these tradeoffs and positioning yourself after these decisions.

While it would be better that sites would enforce 2FA, I don't think that any site will do it. To be honest, I only implemented 2FA after I read some stories here on this forum who got hacked and lost a lot money but sometimes people don't realize the danger.

Would it not be more prudent to demand 2FA? All it is is a minor inconvenience and 15 seconds longer (at most, if you are slow moving) log in times. Are we really going to equate that to a breach of your freedom? It does not even come close!

Lets use your logic against you to make my point a bit more clearer:

If an exchange or casino website demands you must make an account password with letters, numbers and special characters, is that considered a breach of your freedom? Its really the same comparable inconvenience.

So I am 100% pro 2FA.  I think everyone else should be too. It has no downsides.
Dont know on why other people do really see this as a big issue and so to speak with that so called "breach of freedom" which if we do really look and mind the good things of these 2FA
then it is really regarding for our safety.

It is really just that there are people who doesnt really like to hassle up themselves on setting everything or on whats required but on the time that they've been affected
by some stolen funds or unauthorized entry on their accounts then they would be normally blaming out the site. Nothing do shocks me anymore.  Cheesy
