Roo’s $100,000 office marsupial, Cool man that’s huge competition one more time. I think Roobet team is one of the best with their giveaways. They are always huge in amount and at least 50 winners will always share the winnings from it. I think I had participated in couple of the competitions and ended up collecting more than 160 tickets.

I mostly wagered on Dice but it’s always good if wagering is done on the x5 tickets to collect it faster.

Like in this case all the word cup bets gonna get x5 so makes it competitive and insane trivia. I might be audience this time, excited to see forum member names winning it. :-)

Could be case of using VPN due to restricted country or something. Moreover, doing KYC these days is easier than going into physical casino and exposing our faces straight to the public and get recorded on CCTV.
Full KYC due to VPN usage? I don't know about that. I haven't really heard of many VPN related cases where gamblers had to provide full KYC in order to access their account and funds. Most full KYC cases are related to big amount withdrawals.

But those who don't ask Kyc have questionable reputation so I would rather choose what I trusted since it give me more peace of mind while my balance still on their casino.
This isn't true. No KYC doesn't automatically imply questionable reputation in the crypto gambling world.

For the moment, Roobet is one of the only sites that you need to fill in some personal information when your register. But in the end, a lot of casinos require KYC when you want to withdraw some money (even small amounts). I have needed to complete a full KYC to withdraw 0.01 BTC.
Many casinos now are requiring their players to comply on their KYC verification. But there are still casinos out there where you can gamble without worrying about KYC especially if you're just an average gambler. However, always keep in mind the possibility to abide in this requirement since it's quite common now.

What casino is asking you for full KYC to be able to withdraw? Because in Roobet, you can already withdraw even you're in level 1.

But those who don't ask Kyc have questionable reputation so I would rather choose what I trusted since it give me more peace of mind while my balance still on their casino. Roobet require only level one which is pretty fair to small gamblers so I guess there's no really big deal when they ask about this since they are reputable anyway and also they are successful so they provably make sure that the data of their costumers are totally safe on their hands.

As far as I know Stake requires filling up your personal information before depositing and withdrawing any fund. So Roobet is not the only one. It's strange though when crypto casinos are applying KYC to all their clients.

This is a very sensitive topic. Some gamblers have no issues providing their KYC to Roobet like you since they trust them because of their proven reliability over time, but some gamblers aren't willing to provide any form of KYC regardless of whether they like the site or not.

What I truly find weird here is the requirement for you to complete full KYC for just 0.01 BTC. This doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Did they suspect you regarding something? Can you clarify?

If they asking it then it could be for internal verification about Geo location and stuff. Anyways they will have to do KYC verifications once they reach above the restricted limit of withdrawal and gambling.

There are really only few casino’s now a days on whom we can trust and submit the KYC documents. I think Roobet is one of them and definitely within top 5.

Are you referring to Roobet casino? That's strange because their customer support states that Level 1 KYC is enough for most players. Was that your first withdrawal or have you made some withdrawals before? If it was your first withdrawal, you may have been asked to provide additional information to verify your identity because it's possible that you didn't pass the first KYC (automated one), which is why they asked for additional information for manual review.

Does your casino have id verification when withdrawing winnings?
The moment you register with Roobet, you will have to fill out KYC form and yes before you withdraw it is required. Anyway, OP is not active anymore and you have to visit the site to confirm this. Roobet is a good site and one of the secure gambling site. Don’t forget to read terms and conditions before trying this site, know if it works for you.

This is the thing that we should deal in the future as we progress and promote adoption and regulation.
So far, details with Roobet are still safe but then again better not to keep any money to any site for a long period of time. If you are an active gambling then better. KYC is a good thing to secure the site and maybe this is why Roobet is still a good site and very secured. No regret filling out KYC with Roobet, its also fun to play.

Does your casino have id verification when withdrawing winnings?

Roobet has four-step KYC verification. For deposits and withdrawals only the first level is required. For level two and three, you need to provide proof of identity by uploading documents. The live support says that most players only need do the Level 1 KYC.

Quote
Step one verification: - KYC
Step one verification is a simple KYC (Know your customer), which every user and customer must do when signing up to the website before making the first withdrawal or deposit, as recommended in Directive 2018/843. Disregarding the payment choice, the amount of payment, the amount of withdrawing, the choice of withdrawing, and the nationality of the user or customer, step one verification must be done before any withdrawal or deposit, or other transaction can be made.

Step one verification is an online document that must be filled out by the user or customer faithfully. The following information must be filled in: first name, second name, date of birth, country of usual residence, and email. We may require the phone number additionally.

In case of misinformation or unfaithful filing, the Company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2) before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document or close the account entirely, locking all funds permanently.

The Roobet technical support will randomly perform crosschecks to ensure the entered address matches the IP address's location. If the IP address location does not match the given address, the Company may lock the account for further investigation and request steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2). The Company will perform additional checks based on the situation, including, but not limited to, crosschecking for open sanctions and connections to illegal or fraudulent actions.

I think it's quite late for Roobet if they want to hire a brand ambassador for the world cup promotion since it's already 3 days before the first match will happen. Maybe Roobet only looking for UFC and boxing first since their mascot is kangaroo which is usually linked to martial art or boxing. It wouldn't be easy too for casino to hire a football player to become brand ambassador, I've remember there's a problem to the player when he promote gambling site, but I can't find the thread.
What casinos often do in football is to become a club sponsor, not a player sponsor, some bookmakers have done this either as a sponsor for a club or a national team, but will their bookmakers logo appear on the team's national costume at this World Cup? is still a question because of the considering of the host country
I think there are no sponsors for the national teams as far as I know, that’s not allowed in any nation from what I can see. The jerseys that nations have has absolutely no ads at all.

This means that it would be just a person if you want to get promoted, in that case the person you hire as ambassador could make instagram stories and all that about your casino and there wouldn't be a problem about it, not in Qatar or not in anywhere, because you would just do it on your hotel room and would shoot a story and would promote it and that’s it, hell change your instagram bio if you want and add roobet to it, who could say anything about that? Would be a lot more possible and easy.

There's no need to be upset
<..>
in qatar they have tough gambling laws so i doubt they will allow any team to wear a shirt that has a gambling site logo on it, teams know this or at least are supposed to have been informed about this issue, in qatar They even block gambling sites, so you can see that the guys take their persecution of gambling very seriously.

a gambling company could also hire a player as an ambassador without putting a logo on his shirt
but putting his face in the company ads

many ways to do it,
endless possibilities

yes, that's quite big
maybe they're holding the announcement a little bit due to all the craziness of last week

I wonder if Roobet will end up picking other famous people as embassadors in the future
In brazilian football we're starting to see lots of betting platforms advertising

not sure about gambling regulations but you may be right, this probably varies widely from country to country as well.
There are some gambling sites which have players as their brand ambassador but as said you need to put million of dollars at stake which can be utilised in some other way of promoting the business making them earn more profits so the team has everything planned according to market and their budget.

Not your keys, not your coins!
For sure marketing team of Roobet knows everything regarding on regulation so provably they can deal with it then select which of them are good team to sponsor with.
A serious company do know about laws and regulations and they will try to comply with those things as much as possible. It is like a professional athletic says he did not know basics about doping and suddenly had a positive test about it. It's simply a lie.

Roobet is a good and very big casino and they have been operating many years so I am sure they do know and comply with regulations.

This is exciting part of gaining success since if Roobet could successfully acquire a good sponsorship deal starting with world cup for sure this is gonna be big for them since this is huge achievement for them to be known by millions of people around the globe who loves sports and gambling.
It is a big marketing effort from Roobet team to bring their platform to more users.

They have this one too https://roobet.com/tag/evo-worldcup and gamblers on Roobet casino should know about that.

Not late for the fact that its still a world cup which many people around the world watch the league even though its quite late but this is still good addition if we talk about increasing awareness about their casino existence. If they really plan to do this then maybe they should execute this plan because for sure they can succeed with that especially if their logo will be attached on some teams jersey or even promoted by famous individual for sure their fans will look at it or even speculators who watch the game.
They might have some plans to have sponsorship deals with some company in the next one or join hands with some league to have promotion on big level as we have seen from some other casinos also but it depends on the team in which direction they want to have promotion going on so leave it to them.
